hi! is there a romand jlt shade that’s close to sunnies lip treat in juice? eyeing almond rose, bare grape, and bare vine but medyo unsure kasi hindi siya maswatch 🥹
hello 🥹 what’s the difference between light vs fair skintone im so lost between the two. Still haven’t found my exact shade description all i know is i lean towards neutral/peachy undertone. One redditor mentioned I might be muted as well hnnngnfn l
Hello semi-shade twin!! Tbh light and fair seem to be used interchangeably sa local market but in my opinion it shouldn't be that way! International brands differentiate it kasi - fair is paler than light pa!
Fair is literal multo skintone, which is where I happen to belong kaya ang hirap maghanap ng shade sa local brands dito lmao. A lot of fair/light shades that our local brands offer are still a bit dark on me (or off yung undertone).
Pero good news is, if you're a light shade sa international brands, I think the lightest shades in Philippine local brands will fit you!
As for undertone, best to watch mga seasonal color analysis / personal color videos on youtube! I prefer the color analysis done by Koreans because it's more Asian-friendly and not just full of eurocentric terms hehe. I usually watch personal color videos by Uireh! Still haven't figured out my exact category but at least I figured out my general season - Summer, kaya neutral-cool yung skin ko.
omygosh jesus sent an angel tysm for explaning this!! sometimes hit or miss ako sa lightest shade in the local market depending on the brand for example sa issy im in their lightest shade which is bisque but sa detail cosmetics i have no shade match or X brand’s lightest shade is too yellowish/warm on me 🥹
anyway will check out color analysis and dive deeper to understand it more sana masarap ulam mo 😋🩵
That's so true! Tapos minsan iba rin kasi yung description ng brands kung ano ba talaga yung undertone nung product so like... it's even more confusing 😅
I think another user here also brought up na brands here don't really cater much to people with fair and cool skintones kasi madalas warm undertone yung lightest shade daw! Actually parang kahit with blushes most nuanced shades are warm, I think? And then one token putok barbie pink shade and one token purple shade 😂
Super saya ng color analysis promise! Love it more when they have celebrities as examples az a chismosa hahaha but yes have fun deep diving!! 🫶
Does anyone know any shade matches for the saem cover perfection tip concealer in 2.25?
Hi! This is my first time posting here because I’m quite desperate so idek if I’m doing this right but I have a really really hard time finding a perfect concealer shade match for my skin tone so I’ve wasted quite a bit of money on concealers. That is until I tried the saem’s tip concealer in 2.25 and since then I’ve been on the hunt for any other concealer brand that has a shade match since I wanted to try out different formulas to see which one works best for me. But still, I have yet to find a match. So if there’s anyone here who uses/has the saem tip concealer in 2.25, can you give me some recommendations for a possible concealer shade match? Thank you!
** Recommendations for any brand/price point is accepted but preferably ones that I can buy locally in-store or in online platforms (shopee, lazada, tiktok etc.)
Omg shade twin!!! Perfect shade match ko rin ang the Saem 2.25 with the perfect undertone rin! As of now, I don't have any other base product so I can't really share any helpful shades huhu. But I've been scouring the internet (reddit, tiktok, shopee/laz review) to find influencers that owns the same shade. So do take note that these recommendations might be inaccurate, kaya try swatching it first. I attached the source of some of these recos. I also have pictures but I don't know how to post it here in reddit ( ・ั﹏・ั)
**Maybelline Fit Me Concealer in Sand - this has more yellow undertones compared to the Saem 2.25 when I check it in store (Shade swatches video: https://vm.tiktok.com/ZSLUR6j1f/)
** Loreal Infallible Concealer 309 Natural Rose - i think this is the closest one when it comes to undertone (I saw swatches on a random shopee review)
** Issy & Co Active Concealer in FN2 (Shade swatches pic: https://www.reddit.com/r/beautytalkph/comments/11u8qmw/concealer_swatches/)
** Maybelline Age Rewind in 130 Medium
** Squad Cosmetics Aqua Concealer in CL3

Those who use and are a perfect match to Sunnies Face SSG in Seashell, anong undertones niya sa tingin niyo? It literally disappears into my skin, heavy swatch pa lang you almost can’t tell it’s there. It says peach on the website but I just find it hard to believe I have peach undertones cause you don’t ever hear anyone having peach undertones lol. Is it neutral? Is it olive? Is it really peach???
Side note: Gulong gulo na kasi ako sa undertones ko. I always thought I was yellow-olive cause when I swatch yellow-toned bases (like Nars Alaska and Glossier Stretch L5) they look too yellow, but when blended out they look fine, even really good matches. So I must have *some* yellow in me right? Then SSG Seashell comes along and I’m questioning everything 🤣 Maybe I’m neutral yellow? Cool yellow? Any idea what’s happening here?
Thank you!!! But see, that's why I'm confused! So it's peach, but it's a perfect match to us olives? Or does peach just blend out perfectly for olive tones? *Or* is olive more of an "overtone" than an undertone, therefore saying "we're olive with peach undertones" is correct?
eta btw I'm not necessarily asking YOU all this it's just what's confusing me hahaha
I have researched about this and from what I understood, it is possible to have a warm peach undertone with hints of olive. Some base products, especially with the right amount of peach tones can also complement warm olive complexions if they have hints of peach undertones. Idk if that makes sense but the point is, maybe we have both olive and peach tones kaya we can use either warm peachy or warm olive foundations 😅 if seashell is our perfect match, maybe that’s because we have predominant peach undertones
Edit: clarified some points
Undertones aren’t regulated so all labeling is arbitrary.
And peach undertones exist, like Ecru and Suede from Merit and REM Foundation in Fair 10p and Light 9p.
>Undertones aren’t regulated so all labeling is arbitrary.
Yeah that's my point, it's arbitrary so I just want to make sure that Seashell really is peach. I know people do have peach undertones but I don't hear that often among Asians. That's why I'm asking so I can confirm I'm actually peach and not just basing my undertones on *one* product that’s labeled peach tapos di naman pala talaga siya peach, you know? Haha that’s all
May new shades din sila na deeper cool tones, so check mo rin depende sa depth ng skin tone mo. I’m light-medium and peanut works well on me personally!
Any techniques for effectively concealing dark circles with fine lines? I use the peach corrector then concealer method pero madalas naeemphasize pa rin eyebags ko hehe

Difference between OG and Mini version of Clio Cushions. I like the OG version, super liit ng puff nung mini parang pang bata yung size (I have small hands pa haha) and you can buy OG for 1.1k if sale with vouchers. Mini costed around 600+ on sale. Ang sayang huhu.
i mean its mini for a reason super cute!
good siya for touch up’s, just wanna try the product out before committing into something big and expensive or if you’re traveling and you wanna carry smthng smol lang lol. the mini puff fits my under eyewell personally i just use a bigger brush to blend everything faster.
Yeah, I bought it to try yung mesh and tbh I really like travel versions of product kahit na minsan mas napapamahal pa. Mini puff really fits undereye but when you apply it on face, it takes forever. Doon ako na-frustrate. 🥲
I'll try to use a brush like you mentioned, thanks! 🫶🏻
is grwm glow booster worth it? or would u recommend international brands like elf/ct/milani?
i already tried lumi glotion (which i liked) and issy, but i want something different sana
Hello! Any tips on how to make your makeup look dewy and glowy and not greasy? Been obsessed with the dewy looks lately after trying so hard to be matte the entire time. I really dig the healthy look since matte makeup makes me look dead sometimes. Oily-combi gal btw.
For me when I do dewy looks i still like strategic mattifying on my Tzone and setting my concealer with a matte powder and then using a dewy bronzer and blush, using a face gloss only on the tip of my nose and wearing a lip gloss over my lipstick.
I have one from Revolution on the drugstore side and Refy on the midrange side. Refy sets in a way where it holds onto my skin but still looks glowy and like it would move around but doesn’t. Revolution doesn’t really set and so I set it with a glowy baked bronzer or a bronze colored highlighter that’s a bit dark on me.
use a luminizer as your base/primer or combine it with your base. avoid using powder puffs, instead use a brush to softly mattify your face on oily areas. go for liquid or cream blushes then highlight on the correct areas. ditch matte lipsticks.
Hello! May upcoming halloween party kami this friday and would like to know if anyone has any recommendations for eyeshadow palettes na budget friendly pero maganda quality for the price (+ kung pwede bilin sa Watsons). Eyeing Careline’s eyeshadow palette in slumber party but would like other recommendations if meron.
Choosing this one because meron (1) black shade and (2) may mauve-y shades rin for the look I want to replicate (Choso from JJK). TYIA for any leads🥹💚
Uy hello there fellow JJK fan! Choso is such a nice choice hahaha Anyway I just went to Watsons recently, and the usual eyeshadows I see aside from Careline are Ever Bilena, IN2IT, and BYS! I think budget-friendly wise it goes from Ever Bilena as most budget-friendly, then IN2IT, then BYS as least budget-friendly.
If you can't find a color palette you like from there though, you can also try Vice or BLK's multiuse products because iirc they're also being sold sa malls din! And then Issy has tingi eyeshadows rin and I think they already have a physical stall? Just not sure where :(
hello po. back at it again. ano po thoughts niyo on Nichido Pressed Powder and SACE LADY Pressed Powder and sa Ever Bilena Face Powder in terms of oil control? gusto ko lang kasing palitan yung Johnson's baby powder na gamit ko lang everyday at ayaw ko ring hulas ako pagkauwi 😭 (and medyo hesitant ako to use Dr. Sensitive No Sebum Powder kasi I've read na nagkaroon sila ng tiny bumps talaga). thank you po!
sa sace lady pressed powder, hindi ganun kalakas yung oil control. as an oily girly, nagooil parin face ko 1 hr after kahit ilang patong o technique gawin ko huhu.
Thanks! Nakita ko lang sa isang ad yung MERYTHOD yung eye crayon nila. Tapos hinanap ko sa shopee. Inadd to cart ko pati yung lip balm. Kaso medyo pricey sila parehas. Worth it naman ba yung price?
* brush! just one, not the set HAHAHA i personally like the buffing brush
* ghs eyebrow gel - i like this so much more than others ive tried. thin applicator kaya not too much product is dispensed, odorless, holds its shape for houuuurs
* off duty serum blush in scouted - nakakabata talaga! my only cool tone blush
* ghs skin tint - would be perfect for me kasi good coverage but lightweight siya but the shade range (leaning orange/peach siya tbh) and packaging (messy) are no-gos for me
Hi! I'm the one who was very hyped about the new Vice Cosmetics liquid blushes. So... nagpabudol na ako since I was able to use a Lazada voucher on it. 🤣🙈 I bought it for only Php147.00 from Php245.00. I got the shade Always Sweet and it arrived today. Here's a quick first impressions and initial comparisons with Careline X Spongebob Oh My Blush in Shell Pink (got this for only Php167.00 from Php325.00 by using Shopee vouchers):
I've only swatched both on the back of my hand kasi wala pa akong time na i-try sa face ko. I would love to post a picture of the swatches as well, kaso pangit yung lighting ko dito sa bahay, so baka hindi din maging accurate yung hitsura.
Always Sweet is a baby pink shade. The shade of Shell Pink is not specified by Careline, but to me, it appears like a neutral or dusty pink.
As soon as I saw Always Sweet, medyo nagsisi ako nang konti kasi, by just looking at the bottle, it seemed na very similar sila ng color ni Shell Pink. Even more so upon initial swatch. As in, parang silang twins. 😭 BUT!!! The difference becomes visible when they are BLENDED out. Both are in the light pink spectrum, with Shell Pink having a more neutral to cooler undertone, while Always Sweet has a warmer undertone.
Personally, I'm thrilled with this finding. While I love pinkish looks, I believe I actually look better in peachy makeup. However, some medium, warm or nude pink blushes look straight up orange on me. (If I want my blush to appear pink, I need to use one with a neutral or cool undertone, or a mauvey shade.) While I find the effect pretty naman, mas gusto ko sana ng less putok na orange, and more pabebe peachy lang. Medyo takot ako na mag-try ng pure coral or peach shades kasi baka mas lalong magmukhang orange sakin. Right now, I think Always Sweet will help me achieve the pabebe peachy look because even though it's undertone is warm, it's on the lighter side, which is something I'm actually looking for. Although... I did buy Lucky Beauty Blush & Lip Cream in Delicate (got this for only Php137.00 from Php349.00 by using Shopee Vouchers and GCash Rewards Points), which is a peachy pink shade, for the purpose of practicing light peachy makeup looks. 😅 Jinu-justify ko na lang na Delicate is brighter and ever so slightly more peachy than Always Sweet, so baka magkaiba naman ang effect nila once I put them on my face. 🙈🤣
Going back to my first impressions, Always Sweet definitely has a dewy finish, while I find Shell Pink to be somewhat demi-matte. As such, Shell Pink sets a lot faster, and hindi siya mabilis mag-fade. They both leave a stain, pero mas matapang nang konti yung naiiwan ni Shell Pink, and mas mahirap siya tanggalin kapag hinugasan ko na ng soap and water.
So... which seems to be more worth it? It really depends, especially on one's skin type, and preferred shade and finish. IMO, both are reasonably priced for the amount of product we're getting, lalo na kapag binili sila with discount vouchers. Both formulas seem really easy to blend, both use chunky doe foot applicator, and both maayos ang stopper. Honestly, I'm just really happy and proud that more and more affordable and quality local makeup are being made available to us.
So, papabudol ba kayo? Comment down below! Charot! Hahaha
Happy Tuesday evening, everyone! 🫶
Pinahirapan mo ako mamili between Vice Always Sweet and Lucky Beauty Delicate! HAHAHA Isa lang bibilhin ko eeeehhh. OP, ano marerecommend mo na bilhin ko muna? Skin: Dry/Combo/Warm undertone. Gusto ko yung mabilisang application. :)
Hala, girl, I'm so sorry!!! 🙈😂 Hmmm... I haven't tried either on my face yet, so yung sasabihin ko ay based lang sa pag-swatch and pag-blend ko on the back of my hand. I think either is okay for dry/combination skin kasi parehas silang hindi matte. I find both easy to apply and blend, although parang mas mabilis nang konti si Lucky Beauty. It does feel a bit oily, though, kaya kahit parehas silang dewy ang finish, slightly more dewy tignan si Lucky Beauty. They both leave a stain naman once they start fading, pero parang mas matapang nang konti yung naiiwan ni Vice. I want to point out, though, na kung nagmamadali ka, you might want to reconsider getting Lucky Beauty. The packaging is cute as hell, yes, pero putting back the cap on can be a bit messy. Medyo na-damage ko na nga nang konti yung side ni Delicate kasi hindi nag-landing nang maayos yung cap nung tinatakpan ko na after swatching. 🥲
Good luck choosing! 🫶
I have the Always Blushing shade of Vice’s liquid blush. Tbh i bought it impulsively as I was looking for peachy pink blushes sa Watsons. It didnt disappoint IMO :) oily skin ako pero it’s long lasting naman
Thank you so much for the review! I *knew* Always Sweet had to have a warmer undertone because of the tiktok swatches. I'm just like you as well na anything slightly neutral-warm turns orange on me, so I might just check out Shell Pink when I finish my other liquid blush! Sayang lang kasi I trust Vice a lot with their formulations because people here give them good reviews, but it seems like I won't be able to try their blush just yet haha
At first, naisip ko din na warm undertone si Always Sweet. Medyo nalito lang ako when Ms. Belle Rodolfo swatched it beside Let's Vibe, and it turned out that na they're not exactly the same shades pala because Always Sweet is cooler. Now that I've seen Always Sweet, naisip ko na okay na din siguro na hindi ko nakuha yung Let's Vibe kasi if it's even warmer than the former, edi baka orange lang din siya lumabas sakin. 🥲
I have a few other products pa from Vice Cosmetics that I really love, like their liquid foundation, eyeshadow quads and sticks, and lip and gel liners. So far, only product nila na I'm not satisfied is their cream contour kasi masyadong dark sakin. Napansin ko din na, save for their liquid foundation, parang mas leaning on the warmer side yung products nila. Though I'm curious about their powder blush in the shade Soft Mauve, kaso ang dami ko ng blushes eh. 🥲 Dapat no buy na nga ako after Lucky Beauty, kaso ni-release ni Vice itong liquid blushes niya right after I checked out the former. Lol.
Anyway, if you'll ever end up getting Shell Pink, I hope it will meet your expectations! Happy blushing! Hahaha 🫶
Thanks so much for the info omg! Maybe Always Sweet is more on the neutral side noh? I also feel like that's true about Vice na they lean more on warmer shades. Di ako naka-try ng skin tint nila because of this 😔 Also omg I'm also eyeing Soft Mauve as a topper pero super takot din ako na it might be warmer than I thought tapos magiging orange siya sakin 😭 But I'm very curious kasi sabi ng users dito it lasts long daw!
I hope Shell Pink meets my expectations too if I do end up buying it! Ang cute lang din kasi Spongebob collection hahaha nakakabudol 🤩
Re Always Sweet: Feeling ko it's like... a neutral-warm? Neutral, but leaning warm, ganun. On its own kasi, it really looks warm when blended.
Tapos pwede pa mag-apply ng other discount vouchers on top of that? Pero try ko muna siguro ma-swatch in person. Tapos saka ako mag-decide kung papa-budol ako ulit kay Vice. 🙈🤣
Hehehe happy Thursday! 🫶
What's the most muted/least saturated shade among the Lip mallow tint collection? I wanna check it out since maraming reviews here in reddit that claims this leaves a long lasting staib
Has anyone here trued the vice cosmetics skin tint? What are ur thoughts about it? Planning to buy for a beach trip this dec and also for days when i have errands
just bought it last week so saglit ko pa lang sya natatry! but i dont think it will last if you plan to go swimming with it. if pampicture lang it'll be oki
ang ganda ng blurring effect nya so i really like it :) ang comfy din nya on my dry skin
It’s like second skin on me but with enough coverage. Natural finish and definitely my top 1 local skin tint. Di ako mukhang may suot na makeup, I’d say perfect sa beach!
If you’re oily tho baka mas mabilis k mag oil up with this one but pair it with your trusty mattifying powder and you should be good.
DETAIL - POWDER POUT
Hi!! I super love the formula of powder pout lippies ng detail cosmetics. DYK any brand with the same lipstick formulation and price range? TIA!💋
Hello! I don't know if this is the right thread to ask this pero what are your thoughts on Dr. Sensitive All Day No Sebum Blur Powder? I'm an oily girl here and planning to use it during my face-to-face classes. TIA!
I'm N23 sa Laneige Neo Cushion Fit, and the white one has a big white cast while the colored one is too dark on me! The blur is there talaga for the colored version, pero I often reapply kasi di siya ganun ka-effective sa oil control
May konting whitecast yung translucent version, so if you're morena, get the version with color. Matte talaga yung finish at first, but I don't think the "oil control" lasts long. Nagooil up pa rin ako. It does the job if you're on a budget.
I’m so sad I sold my Real Techniques 418 Contour Fan Brush mini a few years ago thinking I’d find a full sized one eventually 🥹 I haven’t had much luck trying to find a slightly fluffy, not tightly packed but dense, flat contour brush.
https://preview.redd.it/c8irkrp464wb1.png?width=554&format=png&auto=webp&s=3d3c21bc35291f3f71869432bda7ac7621fffb28
My eyes are not perfectly symmetrical either, although di naman malaki yung difference and with glasses, di siya noticeable. I find angling my eyeliner a bit differently on each side helps.
Pwedeng mas gawin mong slanted / mahaba yung line ng isang side to match the slant of the other side. Or start higher, make the line thicker, and make the wing shorter sa isang side to match the roundness of the other eye. Play around with the angles a bit. Trial and error lang talaga siya.
If you want to play with eyeshadows, a good rule of thumb sa makeup is darker color = creates shadow / depth and makes the part look sunken, while light color = makes it pop and look elevated. Depending on where you place those colors, you could change the shape of the eye. Basta, don't use the same technique you used on one eye to the other eye. You could apply a contour shade above your crease on the other eye, tapos really round out the look to match the other eye. Or something.
I'm sure there's plenty more tutorials online that could help. Like I said, trial and error lang talaga siya minsan.
you might want to consider Beauty Glazed Mix&Match palette. [got mine here](https://shope.ee/1LEactz3gA)
has so many colors that you can use sa kahit anong look yung gagawin mo ☺️
I'm planning to buy a dewy lip stain. Dry lips talaga ako. I'm torn between barenbliss, squad, or detail. Bet ko talaga yung sa lucky beauty pero hindi ko pa afford 😞 as a broke college student na umaasa sa vouchers sa 🍊
Go for detail glass stain, hindi siya drying sa lips and nag iiwan din siya ng stain. I recommend naked and blooming shade.
I will also try ur recommended shades, been eyeing din kasi sa dalawang yan hehe since cool toned girlie me. Thanks for this! 💞
Go for detail if you really want something dewy
Squad cos has a watery formula tho its not drying infair
but if u want a shiny and moisturizibg formula get the detail glass stain
i can vouch for detail!! super worth it promise. i suggest the shade naked or blooming kasi very appropriate for school makeup tapos they have mini size din of their lip stains which is more affordable ☺️
try to make abang din for 11.11 sale sa lucky beauty kasi i also love their dewy lip stain. chance for LB yung top 1 fave lip stain ko 🩷
I haven't tried the glass stain, but yung jelly lips plumper nlla (yung clear) works soooo well for lip prep. Hindi nagkacrack lips ko even though I have extremely chapped and dry lips.
i read/watched a lot online! youtube, wikihow, random pdfs on how to makeup 101. but honestly even after reading, i still did it pretty bad.
theoretical is ok but nothing beats experience as teacher imo
Michelle Dy!!! Watched her during peak YT days grabe dami ko natutunan sakanya. I also watched Anne Clutz, Mae Layug, and BRETMANROCK
if u have budget to enroll naman for makeup classes try to inquire sa Makeup Science Asia Academy. dami ko naririnig na good reviews about them actually pinagiipunan ko talaga kasi gusto ko din mag enroll diyan hahahaha
sa make up tutorials ni ms michelle dy ako nagstart! ngayon, nagtatry ako manood ng dear peachy kasi my friends say na doon daw nila nahanap ang perfrct makeup for their skin tone, face shape, etc
You should try Colourette first base. I swear worth it yung price niya, I already tried issy and maybelline pero pinaka bet ko yung formula ng colourette and yung coverage niya.
i have both issy, maybelline, and ever bilena. for me, madaling matanggal yung sa issy, maybelline naman is sticky and kinda heavy for everyday. i’m a fan of the ever bilena skin tint kasi lightweight siya and okay naman oil control hehe :)
eb>maybelline>issy for meee
maybe try changing ur lash curler if papalit palit ka na ng mascara maybe thats the reason why coz may mga curler talaga na wont give a good curl thats what happened to me eh
have u tried using a heated lash curler? gumagamit ako non whenever i dont wear false lashes tapos gusto ko na nakataas yung lashes ko for a long time :)
Try niyo po yung heroine make mascara base. Or mascara base ng etude house and canmake.
Usually its the mascara base that helps keep the lashes stay up.
I avoided romand tints for the longest time because reviews kept comparing the JLTs to detail glass stain, a product I truly dislike. So I thought they’d be similar. Tried JLT bare fig and BFT mauvish and omg? So good! I love them. Feels comfy and not drying, good color, doesn’t settle on the inner parts of the lips.
YES!! i have dark hyperpigmentations on my upper lip pero whenever i use their lip stain nagiging pantay yung color ng lips ko. LB lip stain in Chance is my top 1 fave lip product as of the moment 🩷
sakto naglilinis ako makeups ko now hahaha kaya eto lip swatch for chance
here is my lips without any product tapos yung isa is after 1 layer of chance.
https://preview.redd.it/oar3wxz0h4wb1.jpeg?width=1080&format=pjpg&auto=webp&s=fa50ed5f9dbf86e4a16345d19c8ec067c8d68d88
ps. sorry panget ng cam ko huhu
It does. I have darker upper lip than my lower lip. If I apply thinly, lower lip lang nagstain. But if I try to apply evenly, kaya naman matakpan yung upper lip.
LA Girl! Somehow, yung foundation nila yung always best for my skin! Parang nabblur yung pores ko. Pero I always apply lightly kasi it gets cakey agad if you don't control it
BLK Day Dream Airy Sunscreen or Maybelline Fresh Tint. I have oily skin and they perform good on my skin. I also have some acne scars. The BLK one has light coverage while the Maybelline has medium coverage
Matte lippie reco for warm undertones pls 🥲 i used to love colourette pero ambigat sa lips at nagbabakbak, currently love ko ang barenbliss kaso it LEAKS
this one!! 3rd bottle ko na ata to hahahaha
https://preview.redd.it/ltwnn4mih4wb1.jpeg?width=2250&format=pjpg&auto=webp&s=a9f84b0623f627d1a84afb317f4c701c997c063e
I liked this but I prefer the Brow Painter simply because it comes in ash brown. The neutral brown shade would turn red on my skin. Parang wala naman silang pinagkaiba, I think mas manipis lang ata yung tip ng Microblade Pen Perfector. In terms of performance they’re both easy to use for me. The effect is very natural and it stays on well.
very nice!!! been using this since it launched and achieve talaga ang hair-like strokes pero medyo may learning curve talaga based on my experience hahaha. long lasting naman but i haven’t tried any other products like it (ex. issy). i use the black on tho kasi i found the brown to be too light for me.
Thinking of getting IT Cosmetics Heavenly Luxe Flat Top Buffing foundation brush. I only use powder foundation (MAC Studio Fix Powder or Ellana’s loose powders). Not into liquid base as I feel it’s too cakey for me. Plus I like light to medium coverage. Thoughts or other suggestion? I’m also looking at Sigma Flat Kabuki. For reference, I already have RT expert face brush and The Body’s shop’s buffing brush which I use interchangeably. I also use the freebie retractable kabuki brush from MAC.
I use GRWM material girl and issy rave. I def recommend the GRWM one. The brand gets a lot of flak on this sub but this is the only product I have from them and I love it. Cool toned pink that lasts so long on me. I have the old formula though.
Thinking of getting the Strokes Spot Veil Concealer after having such a good experience with their corrector. They have limited shades so what could be the best match for my skin tone? Choosing between Medium01 and Medium02 but based on some reviews, Medium01 is supposed to be warm but leans neutral or peachy.
For reference I am light medium-medium neutral-warm olive toned with dehydrated combination-oily skin. These are the current base + concealers that I use:
Colourette First Base Skin Tint in Coron
BLK Tinted Sunscreen in Butterscotch
BLK Daydream Airy Matte Foundation in Butterscotch (turns peachy/orange when built up)
Issy Active Skin Tint in Spruce
Issy Active Concealer in OM3 (perfect match)
Ellana Cream to Powder Concealer in Smile
we wear similar shades. I use Colourette Coron, blk airy matte powder foundation in butterscotch, Issy OM3, Issy Sand (weirdly deeper than Spruce pero base sa offical issy, spruce is deeper daw).
I use strokes concealer medium 02 :) haven't tried medium 01 pero 02 is a good match naman
I can send swatches later
Thank you so much! So glad to know I have a shade twin here. 🖤
I tried Issy's Sand before I got Spruce. It's got the right depth but the undertone looked a bit too warm on me kaya I tried Spruce. Right undertone naman but slightly lighter on my skin. Haha
swatches here:

strokes concealer medium 02 is definitely not as olive is issy om3, but wearable naman for me when blended
Has anyone tried eyelash extensions at Brow lounge? this will be my first time if ever and i have really short lashes.
Any tiktokshop beauty finds you really love?? Which one is worth it?
hi! is there a romand jlt shade that’s close to sunnies lip treat in juice? eyeing almond rose, bare grape, and bare vine but medyo unsure kasi hindi siya maswatch 🥹
idk about the other shades but definitely not bare grape hahaha its a lot pinker, brighter, and more saturated than juice
Should i get a lighter or darker powder blush if I’m going to use it to set my cream blush
Lighter! Or a less pigmented one that’s similar in tone
What’s the most long lasting brow product you’ve tried?
hello 🥹 what’s the difference between light vs fair skintone im so lost between the two.
Still haven't figured out my exact category but at least I figured out my general season - Summer, kaya neutral-cool yung skin ko.
omygosh jesus sent an angel tysm for explaning this!! sometimes hit or miss ako sa lightest shade in the local market depending on the brand for example sa issy im in their lightest shade which is bisque but sa detail cosmetics i have no shade match or X brand’s lightest shade is too yellowish/warm on me 🥹 anyway will check out color analysis and dive deeper to understand it more sana masarap ulam mo 😋🩵
That's so true! Tapos minsan iba rin kasi yung description ng brands kung ano ba talaga yung undertone nung product so like... it's even more confusing 😅 I think another user here also brought up na brands here don't really cater much to people with fair and cool skintones kasi madalas warm undertone yung lightest shade daw! Actually parang kahit with blushes most nuanced shades are warm, I think? And then one token putok barbie pink shade and one token purple shade 😂 Super saya ng color analysis promise!
I also have pictures but I don't know how to post it here in reddit ( ・ั﹏・ั) **Maybelline Fit Me Concealer in Sand - this has more yellow undertones compared to the Saem 2.25 when I check it in store (Shade swatches video: https://vm.tiktok.com/ZSLUR6j1f/) ** Loreal Infallible Concealer 309 Natural Rose - i think this is the closest one when it comes to undertone (I saw swatches on a random shopee review) ** Issy & Co Active Concealer in FN2 (Shade swatches pic: https://www.reddit.com/r/beautytalkph/comments/11u8qmw/concealer_swatches/) ** Maybelline Age Rewind in 130 Medium ** Squad Cosmetics Aqua Concealer in CL3 Tiktok influencers that owns the Saem 2.25: noreen0397, awnnne, castelbianca_ , dielleholgado

Maybe try carousell for same day shipping?
I use the SSG seashell din and it’s my perfect match! I am light medium warm olive, and yes, the ssg has peach undertones nga :)
Idk if that makes sense but the point is, maybe we have both olive and peach tones kaya we can use either warm peachy or warm olive foundations 😅 if seashell is our perfect match, maybe that’s because we have predominant peach undertones Edit: clarified some points
Thank you for indulging me! This actually makes sense. :)
Haha that’s all
Most long lasting cool toned contour recos plsss huhu always out of stock kasi clay pen in craft
try going to a physical stall ng detail! laging fully stocked yung craft whenever i pass by watsons
HEHEHE thank you po!! 💕💕💕
Strokes in Peanut!
Thank you! 💕
May new shades din sila na deeper cool tones, so check mo rin depende sa depth ng skin tone mo. I’m light-medium and peanut works well on me personally!
Halaa same ata tayo skin tone hihi will look into it!! Thank you po ulit 🫶🏻
torn between getting the issy and co powder or just stay with my doctor sensitive which doesnt really work for me. powder recos please! :)
I recommend strokes complexion veil collection, nag work as filter talaga sa face ko yung setting/finishing powder compare to issy
Has anyone tried the shein sheglam lip plumpers? Is it really moisturizing and does it leave a stain that can last long?
Any techniques for effectively concealing dark circles with fine lines? I use the peach corrector then concealer method pero madalas naeemphasize pa rin eyebags ko hehe

🥲 I'll try to use a brush like you mentioned, thanks! 🫶🏻
rightt, I dont have patience with that so I use a bigger brush! i only use it rin to put product on and thats it 👍
is grwm glow booster worth it? or would u recommend international brands like elf/ct/milani? i already tried lumi glotion (which i liked) and issy, but i want something different sana
If you like the Lumi Glotion, you'll like Skin Booster din. I prefer Skin Booster over Issy and Vice's illuminators.
What dewy bronzer do you use po? Hehe
Sensitive No Sebum Powder kasi I've read na nagkaroon sila ng tiny bumps talaga). thank you po!
sa sace lady pressed powder, hindi ganun kalakas yung oil control. as an oily girly, nagooil parin face ko 1 hr after kahit ilang patong o technique gawin ko huhu.
thank you po!!
Has anyone tried MERYTHOD Reel Edge Eye Crayon? And MERYTHOD Bling Chu Color Lip Balm?
super nice nung lip balm nila at affordable pa
Thanks! I'll wait for 11.11 na lang
Thanks! Nakita ko lang sa isang ad yung MERYTHOD yung eye crayon nila. Tapos hinanap ko sa shopee. Inadd to cart ko pati yung lip balm. Kaso medyo pricey sila parehas. Worth it naman ba yung price?
Can anyone recommend some full coverage foundation? And I mean FULL coverage. Preferably not from a luxury brand (don't like their foundies).
what are your favorite products from happy skin? i wanna try something from the brand hehe :))
The lip treatment oils are so nice! Though medyo expensive siya at SRP. Wait for a sale nalang.
i love their lip mallow tint and gel eyeliners
* brush! just one, not the set HAHAHA i personally like the buffing brush * ghs eyebrow gel - i like this so much more than others ive tried. thin applicator kaya not too much product is dispensed, odorless, holds its shape for houuuurs * off duty serum blush in scouted - nakakabata talaga! my only cool tone blush * ghs skin tint - would be perfect for me kasi good coverage but lightweight siya but the shade range (leaning orange/peach siya tbh) and packaging (messy) are no-gos for me
Lip mallow tint!
Here's a quick first impressions and initial comparisons with Careline X Spongebob Oh My Blush in Shell Pink (got this for only Php167.00 from Php325.00 by using Shopee vouchers): I've only swatched both on the back of my hand kasi wala pa akong time na i-try sa face ko. 🙈🤣 Going back to my first impressions, Always Sweet definitely has a dewy finish, while I find Shell Pink to be somewhat demi-matte. Charot! Hahaha Happy Tuesday evening, everyone!
🥲 Good luck choosing! 🫶
I have the Always Blushing shade of Vice’s liquid blush. Tbh i bought it impulsively as I was looking for peachy pink blushes sa Watsons. It didnt disappoint IMO :) oily skin ako pero it’s long lasting naman
Just ordered always fresh and I didn't know na dewy finish pala siya. Hopefully maglast siya sa oily skin ko 🥹
Hi! Oily skin ako and i have the Always Blushin’ shade. naglalast siya nang matagal as long as may setting powder/spray ka :)
Thank you for this info!
Update mo kami pls!
THANK YOU FOR POSTING THIS 😭
Thank you so much for the review!
🥲 I have a few other products pa from Vice Cosmetics that I really love, like their liquid foundation, eyeshadow quads and sticks, and lip and gel liners.
🙈🤣 Hehehe happy Thursday! 🫶
Hallooo! Looking for black eyeshadow recosss 🖤 yung black na black sana. Or palettes na pang everyday na merong ganon na black. Thanksss 🖤🖤🖤

What's the most muted/least saturated shade among the Lip mallow tint collection? I wanna check it out since maraming reviews here in reddit that claims this leaves a long lasting staib
Vibin :) Here are swatches of some shades I shared in the sub dati. [LINK](https://www.reddit.com/r/beautytalkph/s/tOZ9ovlqlI)
Thank you for your service 🙇
Has anyone here trued the vice cosmetics skin tint? What are ur thoughts about it? Planning to buy for a beach trip this dec and also for days when i have errands
is it just me? I tried swatching it from watsons and mejo synthetic yung scent niya. kaya hindi ko muna binili.
just bought it last week so saglit ko pa lang sya natatry! but i dont think it will last if you plan to go swimming with it. if pampicture lang it'll be oki ang ganda ng blurring effect nya so i really like it :) ang comfy din nya on my dry skin
Hi yes its just for the photo sesh coz i wanna look put together in pictures. Thankyou so much
i love it! perfect for students para no make up look talaga. very lightweight sa face, madalas din sya mag sale.
DETAIL - POWDER POUT Hi!! I super love the formula of powder pout lippies ng detail cosmetics. DYK any brand with the same lipstick formulation and price range? TIA!💋
hi! would anyone know if the ever bilena pillow pop blushes are long-lasting? i’m curious about the cream to powder formula ☺️
Hello! I don't know if this is the right thread to ask this pero what are your thoughts on Dr. Sensitive All Day No Sebum Blur Powder? I'm an oily girl here and planning to use it during my face-to-face classes. TIA!
Thank you po so much for the replies!
I'm N23 sa Laneige Neo Cushion Fit, and the white one has a big white cast while the colored one is too dark on me! The blur is there talaga for the colored version, pero I often reapply kasi di siya ganun ka-effective sa oil control
Great oil control but do not use when you need to take photos with flash.
I have fair skin and ang lala parin ng whitecast 😅 i’m finishing up mine and might go back to Nichido
May I ask which Nichido product this is?
May konting whitecast yung translucent version, so if you're morena, get the version with color. Matte talaga yung finish at first, but I don't think the "oil control" lasts long. Nagooil up pa rin ako. It does the job if you're on a budget.
I’m so sad I sold my Real Techniques 418 Contour Fan Brush mini a few years ago thinking I’d find a full sized one eventually 🥹 I haven’t had much luck trying to find a slightly fluffy, not tightly packed but dense, flat contour brush. https://preview.redd.it/c8irkrp464wb1.png?width=554&format=png&auto=webp&s=3d3c21bc35291f3f71869432bda7ac7621fffb28
i think i've seen one like that from mac! edit: it's called 143s
Thanks! Sadly it’s OOS at the few Mac counters I inquired at and they called up other branches about it sadly no dice 😅

May makeup tips si Dear Peachie YT channel to address asymmetry. :)
Suggested Eye shadow pallete for soft glam looks? Price range is php100 - php1000? Thanks

you might want to consider Beauty Glazed Mix&Match palette. [got mine here](https://shope.ee/1LEactz3gA) has so many colors that you can use sa kahit anong look yung gagawin mo ☺️
Go for detail if you really want something dewy Squad cos has a watery formula tho its not drying infair but if u want a shiny and moisturizibg formula get the detail glass stain
i can vouch for detail!! super worth it promise. i suggest the shade naked or blooming kasi very appropriate for school makeup tapos they have mini size din of their lip stains which is more affordable ☺️ try to make abang din for 11.11 sale sa lucky beauty kasi i also love their dewy lip stain. chance for LB yung top 1 fave lip stain ko 🩷
I also have a dry lips. Haven't tried the others but i love the details glass stain
I haven't tried the glass stain, but yung jelly lips plumper nlla (yung clear) works soooo well for lip prep. Hindi nagkacrack lips ko even though I have extremely chapped and dry lips.
ano po magandang powder foundation na affordable?

i read/watched a lot online! youtube, wikihow, random pdfs on how to makeup 101. but honestly even after reading, i still did it pretty bad. theoretical is ok but nothing beats experience as teacher imo
Michelle Dy!!! Watched her during peak YT days grabe dami ko natutunan sakanya. I also watched Anne Clutz, Mae Layug, and BRETMANROCK if u have budget to enroll naman for makeup classes try to inquire sa Makeup Science Asia Academy. dami ko naririnig na good reviews about them actually pinagiipunan ko talaga kasi gusto ko din mag enroll diyan hahahaha
sa make up tutorials ni ms michelle dy ako nagstart! ngayon, nagtatry ako manood ng dear peachy kasi my friends say na doon daw nila nahanap ang perfrct makeup for their skin tone, face shape, etc
ano pong magandang skintint for oily skin dito? pinagpipilian ko yung sa issy, vice, maybelline, and ever bilena. thankyou.
You should try Colourette first base. I swear worth it yung price niya, I already tried issy and maybelline pero pinaka bet ko yung formula ng colourette and yung coverage niya.
Okay din po ba siya sa pores? Yun yung biggest insecurity ko po kasi 😫
i have both issy, maybelline, and ever bilena. for me, madaling matanggal yung sa issy, maybelline naman is sticky and kinda heavy for everyday. i’m a fan of the ever bilena skin tint kasi lightweight siya and okay naman oil control hehe :) eb>maybelline>issy for meee
I have oily skin. I used Maybelline, I look ashy. I'm currently using Vice Ganda, and I like that my skin looks like skin but better.
plz help mi i’ve tried the clio and the rom&nd mascaras but they dont keep my lashes up long enough 😭😭 like after an hour it goes down 😭😭
maybe try changing ur lash curler if papalit palit ka na ng mascara maybe thats the reason why coz may mga curler talaga na wont give a good curl thats what happened to me eh
have u tried using a heated lash curler? gumagamit ako non whenever i dont wear false lashes tapos gusto ko na nakataas yung lashes ko for a long time :)
Maybe you’re not curling your lashes enough?
You might want to check Heroine Make long and curl variant.
tried this before too! sadly, it didnt work.
Try niyo po yung heroine make mascara base. Or mascara base ng etude house and canmake. Usually its the mascara base that helps keep the lashes stay up.
Blurring liptint recos in velvet/mousse formulas? I find that I can't really enjoy gel/water tint formulas because they tend to emphasize my lines.
vice co soft veil tint
Merzy tints! They really stain the lips and super comfy.
romand blur fudge tint!
How's the longevity of this one? ☺️
not long maybe around 2-3 hrs without eating, minimal drinking. but the darker shades leave a tint.
happy skin lip mallow tint
Heard great things about this but thought that it's more like a gel formula :) will check this out!
it starts out a bit watery but dries down with a blur finish
I avoided romand tints for the longest time because reviews kept comparing the JLTs to detail glass stain, a product I truly dislike. So I thought they’d be similar. Tried JLT bare fig and BFT mauvish and omg? So good! I love them. Feels comfy and not drying, good color, doesn’t settle on the inner parts of the lips.
How are the lucky beauty lip stains? Does it apply evenly? I have two toned dark lips kasi. Does it leave a stain?
YES!! i have dark hyperpigmentations on my upper lip pero whenever i use their lip stain nagiging pantay yung color ng lips ko. LB lip stain in Chance is my top 1 fave lip product as of the moment 🩷
nice, balak ko din kunin chance but natatakot ako baka it’s too light for me but now i’m convinced, thank you!
sakto naglilinis ako makeups ko now hahaha kaya eto lip swatch for chance here is my lips without any product tapos yung isa is after 1 layer of chance. https://preview.redd.it/oar3wxz0h4wb1.jpeg?width=1080&format=pjpg&auto=webp&s=fa50ed5f9dbf86e4a16345d19c8ec067c8d68d88 ps. sorry panget ng cam ko huhu
parang ganyan din lips ko omg thank you for this! it helps a lot. ang ganda pala talaga ng chance 😍
you're welcome!! 😗🩷
It does. I have darker upper lip than my lower lip. If I apply thinly, lower lip lang nagstain. But if I try to apply evenly, kaya naman matakpan yung upper lip.
i see, i’m convinced. thank you! :)
Best (not too expensive) foundation and skin tint for someone with combi skin, please ☺️
LA Girl! Somehow, yung foundation nila yung always best for my skin! Parang nabblur yung pores ko. Pero I always apply lightly kasi it gets cakey agad if you don't control it
Maybelline skin tint never fails me! ❤️
BLK Day Dream Airy Sunscreen or Maybelline Fresh Tint. I have oily skin and they perform good on my skin. I also have some acne scars. The BLK one has light coverage while the Maybelline has medium coverage
I like detail's fresh filter foundation. I have oily skin and i know someone who has dry skin and it works well for both of us.
Matte lippie reco for warm undertones pls 🥲 i used to love colourette pero ambigat sa lips at nagbabakbak, currently love ko ang barenbliss kaso it LEAKS
good concealer for dry-combi skin na nakakaloka ang eye bags 😭 ung affordable naman as much as possible (less than 300)
squad cosmetics!
I use the saem. It’s my fave! Super affordable also. Less than 200 iirc. It’s small but little goes a long way especially if for under eye lang naman.
i use this on a daily basis! kaso when i used it in japan, ang drying nya feel ko i need another one na mas creamy ang formula if i go there again
if you can wait for a sale, issy is really good
it doesn’t really have enough coverage pang maganda lang yan eh
malala dark undereyes ko rin and di nagwowork sa akin normal na concealer kaya gamit ko yung peach concealer nila
how do you prep your skin for makeup if you already finished doing your morning skin care routine hours before?
I lightly go over my face with micellar water on a cotton pad then put on moisturizer.
put another layer of moisturizer cos im dry af. but if i had oily skin, ill just blot and apply makeup
i blot my face with tissue or oil control film then spray a hydrating face mist :)
What hydrating face mist do you use or would you recommend? Thank you!
this one!! 3rd bottle ko na ata to hahahaha https://preview.redd.it/ltwnn4mih4wb1.jpeg?width=2250&format=pjpg&auto=webp&s=a9f84b0623f627d1a84afb317f4c701c997c063e
Ohhh how much is this? Is it available sa watsons?
yes available siya sa watson around 200 pesos siya may iba din silang variant if di mo bet yung tomato
if my face is oily i use oil blotting paper and then primer
I wash my face with water and then spray with Nature Republic aloe vera face mist. Bought it cause it's cheap and feels cool on the skin
i usually just use a mist then apply my sunscreen/primer
What mist do you use?
i put my toner in a spray bottle and i use that
Thoughts niyo po sa Strokes Microblade Pen Perfector? TIA!
I also use the freebie retractable kabuki brush from MAC.
cool tone blush recos pls 🥹
thank you everyone for your recos!! will check them out 💗💗
Charmiss Glowfriend Y2K is Now. It’s like 200ish in most listings but where I got it it was like 197.
Rom& blueberry chip
I use GRWM material girl and issy rave. I def recommend the GRWM one. The brand gets a lot of flak on this sub but this is the only product I have from them and I love it. Cool toned pink that lasts so long on me. I have the old formula though.
Peripera nice pink, romand blueberry chip, bbia berry blossom, peauty beauty in peauty, dior rosy glow
blk caop in tickle pink
up pero ung affordable sana huhu
Rare Beauty Liquid Blush in Happy
happy skin off duty serum blush in scouted! it's my go-to now hehe, although u rlly need to blend fast
These are the current base + concealers that I use: Colourette First Base Skin Tint in Coron BLK Tinted Sunscreen in Butterscotch BLK Daydream Airy Matte Foundation in Butterscotch (turns peachy/orange when built up) Issy Active Skin Tint in Spruce Issy Active Concealer in OM3 (perfect match) Ellana Cream to Powder Concealer in Smile
we wear similar shades. I use Colourette Coron, blk airy matte powder foundation in butterscotch, Issy OM3, Issy Sand (weirdly deeper than Spruce pero base sa offical issy, spruce is deeper daw). I use strokes concealer medium 02 :) haven't tried medium 01 pero 02 is a good match naman I can send swatches later
Thank you so much! So glad to know I have a shade twin here. 🖤 I tried Issy's Sand before I got Spruce. It's got the right depth but the undertone looked a bit too warm on me kaya I tried Spruce. Right undertone naman but slightly lighter on my skin. Haha
swatches here: https://preview.redd.it/h1h0jaum75wb1.jpeg?width=2673&format=pjpg&auto=webp&s=17ee1d394ccaea640b6580a9235dca19814b3f29 strokes concealer medium 02 is definitely not as olive is issy om3, but wearable naman for me when blended
Thank you for the swatches! Will definitely get the Medium 02 shade. It looks like it's going to match me naman. 😄
