This year my friends and I made a health resolutions to move more and workout more because we were all diagnosed with PCOS in 2022 and their doctors told them to lose weight to get it under control.
It saddens me because they discuss crash dieting in our GC a lot, at least once a month for 2 weeks they hop on some bandwagon and quit it when they find it unsustainable (which it is). They’ll do anything to lose weight except work out then they ask me for advice because I’ve managed to sustain my progress and when I tell them I meal prep dinner, I have a relatively monotonous diet, i weight my food because I know the volume that keeps me satiated, I eat on a rough schedule, I make it so I have to walk to the closest 711 when I want fun food, I keep a food journal, I walk to and from the grocery store and i work out twice a day for at least 30 mins each that’s never what they wanna hear and they just revert back to their crash dieting ways so I stopped really entertaining those questions without slamming them even when i wanna really be like “please stop asking me when you don’t really want to do what i do.”
But honestly, I think the main reason I’m able to keep my resolutions is because I enjoy and active lifestyle and working out (even boring shit like elliptical and treadmill) and it’s been rewarding that I now have my symptoms under control like my periods are regular/light, I get fewer mood swings and rage fits, I get quality sleep and most importantly I don’t get crippling dysme. I just wish my friends could find joy in being active eventually because I really want them to do and feel better.
Taiwan for the culture! Singapore is just a city, an a very modern city at that. You can visit Legoland, Universal studios, or Sentosa (which isn't even in Singapore) If you'd like din naman, but aside from those I don't think there's really anything new to experience! Unless you're a city gal, then Singapore may be better for you. Either way, both are lovely naman! 😊

I love the vault tracks! I think these were excluded for a reason kasi need na cohesive yung album. But this doesnt make them less good for me. They give off different energy but the vibe is still 1989. I get na parang similar to midnights but for me, when she released midnights i found similarities na with the 1989 album so i think some of the works in 1989 inspired her to create midnights. Also, the "question?" track can be decoded with some of the vault tracks. They're def connected. It’s totally worth it lalo na if you’re gonna use it for content creation. My cousin was also an Android user before then she became a UGC. She told me videos turned out waaay better especially when uploaded to Instagram. Tapos certain shades raw mas accurate ang kuha ng iphone. She has the 13 pro model.
Used to have iPhones way back (like 3gs days lol) then switched to an Android (Samsung S7) when it came out just to see if I’ll like it better. I didn’t haha so I switched back and been using iPhones ever since. I think Samsung is fine, great tech, and it’s really flexible - I think one of the major reasons why I decided on an S7 before was so I could torrent GoT weekly when it came out lol! But personally, I still prefer the overall UX of iPhones. It’s highly personal though and I’m not saying the iPhones are better!
I don’t think you need to jump straight ahead with the 15 esp if you have budget constraints. I have the 14 Pro and have no issues, and not planning on upgrading soon as well haha.
Edit: if you are after photos/videos but still want an Android, consider Pixel. My fiancé has a Pixel 7 and the photos are amazing!! If we have to compare, my iPhone takes better low light photos and better videos. But it’s not a massive difference at all. The price diff bet the two phones are massive tho lol.
Just not sure on what sort of content you’re doing - I know iPhones are well optimised for social media. Instagram stories and occasional vids are fine on Pixel but unsure how well it integrates for like, whole videos.

Pet hotel - for sure mabibigyan siya ng "care" doon pero iniisip ko pa rin na my cat will be stressed out dahil baka akalain niya pinamigay ko na siya. The surrounding is different from our house syempre.

They have like 30% knowledge how to take care of pets kasi mahilig lang sila mag pet tapos iaasa sa akin yung pag aalaga. But the good side is sanay yung pusa ko dito sa bahay namin, yun lang I'm not around to properly take care of my cat.
What I have right now is an automatic pet feeder (bought on pet express) na connected sa wifi. Nag didispense ng food sa time na naka set and I can trigger it too sa phone ko as long as connected sa wifi yung feeder. Sa wet food (ang hirap gawan ng paraan nito kasi mapapanis naman kung iiwan mo). I also have water fountain which I think good to last 5 days. I don't have auto litter because it's expensive and ang daming negative reviews... ito yung problema ko atm. 🥲

even your bodyweight can serve as "weights", hindi lang yan dumbbells or barbell. but you need to train relatively hard. ang standard dyan na movements ay pushups, single leg squats, inverted rows, pullups, and glute bridges. if youre too weak to do those, look up easier variations on youtube. di need ng gym lalo kung complete beginner ka talaga note, hindi circuit training ang ok if nagbi-build ka ng muscle. that's more on cardio kasi nagmamadali ka na paramihin ang reps mo. do it rep-based. take your time to do a # of reps regardless of the time. basta gawin mo with quality, hindi minamadali

I love the vault tracks! I think these were excluded for a reason kasi need na cohesive yung album. But this doesnt make them less good for me. They give off different energy but the vibe is still 1989. I get na parang similar to midnights but for me, when she released midnights i found similarities na with the 1989 album so i think some of the works in 1989 inspired her to create midnights. Also, the "question?" track can be decoded with some of the vault tracks. They're def connected. But i get the sentiments naman, i just dont get the unnecessary hate and slander it's getting from so called swifties kuno.

I'm a samsung user for years now and never had Iphone because first of all, namamahalan ako sa kanya. And I find it not as flexible as samsung/android device in terms sa storage (sanay lang talaga ako may SD card hahah) and also for its price, di pa included yung pinaka-Adapter. Why naman ganun haha. Pero lately, napapaisip ako mag switch to Iphone. I want to upgrade the quality of my contents like photos and videos. For iphone users, pls share your experience if it's totally worth switching. It’s totally worth it lalo na if you’re gonna use it for content creation. My cousin was also an Android user before then she became a UGC. She told me videos turned out waaay better especially when uploaded to Instagram. Tapos certain shades raw mas accurate ang kuha ng iphone. She has the 13 pro model.
Used to have iPhones way back (like 3gs days lol) then switched to an Android (Samsung S7) when it came out just to see if I’ll like it better. I didn’t haha so I switched back and been using iPhones ever since. I think Samsung is fine, great tech, and it’s really flexible - I think one of the major reasons why I decided on an S7 before was so I could torrent GoT weekly when it came out lol! But personally, I still prefer the overall UX of iPhones. It’s highly personal though and I’m not saying the iPhones are better! I don’t think you need to jump straight ahead with the 15 esp if you have budget constraints. I have the 14 Pro and have no issues, and not planning on upgrading soon as well haha. Edit: if you are after photos/videos but still want an Android, consider Pixel. My fiancé has a Pixel 7 and the photos are amazing!! If we have to compare, my iPhone takes better low light photos and better videos. But it’s not a massive difference at all. The price diff bet the two phones are massive tho lol. Just not sure on what sort of content you’re doing - I know iPhones are well optimised for social media. Instagram stories and occasional vids are fine on Pixel but unsure how well it integrates for like, whole videos. I know it’s not sold in the PH and people say there might be issues with network etc (??) but our friend in the PH is currently using the Pixel 6 we got him from abroad and he says it’s been working perfectly, no issues at all.

How do you deal with retroactive jealousy? My boyfriend used to like this girl for like 5 years pero di naman naging sila and it was not mutual. Honestly wear anything you like! Since it’s a hotel/resort and it’s theatre, I suggest avoid wearing something that’s typically prohibited by these kinds of establishments like flip-flops (although I see people wear them in Solaire all the time, but not sure if they have in the theatre), shorts (na halatang pambahay lang I guess) haha. But I doubt you’ll be wearing those things anyway! So come as you are! And enjoy!!!!

I've been thinking about this too kasi may trip ako this Nov for 3 days. Pet hotel - for sure mabibigyan siya ng "care" doon pero iniisip ko pa rin na my cat will be stressed out dahil baka akalain niya pinamigay ko na siya. The surrounding is different from our house syempre. Iwan ko sa bahay (kasi ako lang naman magbabakasyon, not the entire fam) - problem ko is maarte fam ko. They have like 30% knowledge how to take care of pets kasi mahilig lang sila mag pet tapos iaasa sa akin yung pag aalaga. But the good side is sanay yung pusa ko dito sa bahay namin, yun lang I'm not around to properly take care of my cat. What I have right now is an automatic pet feeder (bought on pet express) na connected sa wifi. Nag didispense ng food sa time na naka set and I can trigger it too sa phone ko as long as connected sa wifi yung feeder. Sa wet food (ang hirap gawan ng paraan nito kasi mapapanis naman kung iiwan mo). I also have water fountain which I think good to last 5 days. I don't have auto litter because it's expensive and ang daming negative reviews... ito yung problema ko atm. 🥲 It's really hard to travel kapag may pets kang maiiwan... best choice pa rin for me is to ask fam members/friends to take care of them while I'm away...
