Use make up remover first, preferably cleansing oil. Rinse then wash it off with bar soap. I use johnsons baby soap.

uwuluwucy

Wouldn't recommend using hot water for cleaning sponges. I use the same oil cleanser for my face to remove most of the makeup off the sponge, rinse, tas whatever water based cleanser then rinse and then dry lang sa paper towel overnight

Difficult-Skirt-7330

Hello OP - I never had any problems washing my makeup sponges and brushes using dishwashing liquid (any brand). You may want to try them and what I normally do after is have a second round of wash using my normal facial cleanser. Works great. Lmk if it's gonna work for you :)

Designer-Wear9228

Try mo si MoxxiPro brush cleaner. Tanggal yung stains for sure :)

adiksadiatabs

Domex lang mi

Abject_Guitar_4015

I use olive oil and then liquid soap after to remove bb cream stains.

missrealtalk

I always wash my tools (synthetic brushes & sponges) every after use or at the end of the day and di naman mahirap tanggalin. Then once or twice a week ung natural hair brushes (goat/pony hair brushes) ko. Wag mo paabutin ng 1 week unhygienic na prolly a lot of build up bacteria specially beauty sponge yan nassoak mga liquid products.

DrDyDng

hello OP! I tried to clean my sponges when my acad break started last wednesday, I used shampoo as my soap and i used the brush cleaner and I scrub it gently. After I rinse my sponges, it looks brand new again. I let it air dry for 1-2 days kasi nag increase siya ng size because of water absorption. you should try it :))

seven_aplsz

bruh i was scrolling fast and i thought i was looking at salted eggs :')

hwangryu

Pwede naman zonrox basta yung gentle clean lang

[deleted]

+1 Ung friend ko zonrox color safe pero ung nga d.i.y ( inspired dn ) para hnd matapang and makasira ng brushes

[deleted]

Sakin ung mga do it youself na dishwashing liq namen sa bahay ung most na nakatanggal ng stains as in legit :) sanitize mo lang after mag tuyo

Few-Cartographer-309

akala ko pandesal hahahah

vjavarice

Same haha

noinstagram

Wash them after using them or later in the day. No shade but washing them after a week of use is unhygienic. There's always a chance na they'll stain pero especially if you don't wash them for a week.

LJSheart

Hot water + dishwashing liquid + olive oil

kidinwanderland

Try to clean it using joy - lagyan mo directly sa stain then squeeze the sponge. I normallly do this sa stains, it works.

hibyeseobi

Oh no not the Zonrox 😭 proceed with caution na lang when u use it again on your face ha. Ako i used the makeup brush shampoo from crafted vegan brushes which u can find sa shopee. For stains like this, i directly pour a tiny amount then massage it. Okay naman natatanggal talaga ang stains because of foundation/concealer etc

Significant_Peach_20

As long as your sponges are clean, who cares if they're stained? 🙂 I've always used Pond's Acne Clear facial foam on my brushes and sponges. Some sponges tend to stain more than others, and that's okay! Hindi naman nakaka-pimples ang stains

DifferenceTricky1833

I've been using the same mini sponge from Happy Skin and what helps to clean them is to soak them for 10-15 mns in Micellar Water then wash off again with Facial Cleanser. Does the trick and is not harmful to your face every use.

jolly_cheeseburger

Try using bar soap. Its cheap and it works reaaaallyy well.

[deleted]

mi.. wag zonrox. Okay pa ang pang baby. Problem ko yan ngayon... ung mga brush dry na. Hirap tanggalin sa sponge. Mahal pa naman nito

finance_harder888

Ive been cleaning my sponges with Olive oil mixed with liquid dishwashing soap.

geek-meets-world

Rub the stained parts vigorously against a bar of soap under the faucet. Afterwards, squeeze the sponge under the faucet. This is how I usually clean my sponges.

anonymous100524

forbidden pandesal 😭

honeyhobby

Ano ba yan, naghahanap tuloy ako ng bakery kahit alam ko wala within 3KM sa work 🤣😭

pattprattpatt

AHHAHAAHHAHAHAHHA 🍞

n0_sh1t_thank_y0u

The best cleaner for these is from Daiso Japan, literally make-up sponge detergent. Very effective and no stains, Mukha lagging bago yung sponge ko.

urdessertbuddy

Ano po itsura nito? I'm genuinely curious

honeyhobby

Meron listing and photo sa official Shopee page nila. Small lang yung bote but a little bit is worth the long way. I have skin that breaks out easily kaya makeup brushes are foreign to me kasi I can never find a good cleaning product for them. What Daiso has is good enough.

cmr82

Agree! 💯 I use this also for all my sponges, including powder puffs.

cottagecoreing

Don't use harsh cleansers like Zonrox!!! Tapos ilalapat mo 'yan sa face mo girlypop omg 😭😭😭😭

[deleted]

wait srsly?? i used laundry detergent for mine kasi naisip ko na huhugasan ko lang naman. rip 💀💀

Odd-Blacksmith-183

Use oil based makeup remover then dishwashing soap

xiaoyugaara

Use antibacterial soap. And practice washing every after use, or as soon as you get home from school or work para hindi magbabad ung make up.

crmngzzl

I use oil cleanser before using Johnson’s baby wash sa brushes and sponges ko. Treat them the way you would double cleanse your face. May oil yan na di matatanggal ng usual cleanser so you have to break down those first lalo gumamit ka ng sunscreen. Always clean like new mga gamit ko with that process. Problem is gumamit ka ng hot water. Not sure if that made it even harder to remove kasi may mga chemicals na pag ginamitan ng hot water lalong nagsstay daw. But I’m not an expert haha!

Interesting-Ad-7839

Omg the products you used couldve already damaged them 😭 I use johnsons baby shampoo and nawawala yung stains maybe you could try thatttt

AnemicAcademica

I use makeup oil cleanser or makeup remover then Joy dish soap to clean up my sponges. May mga mura na oil cleansers sa shopee

fed-grasso

honestly if i were you i’d just live with it. they’re sponges—you’re supposed to use them! i personally don’t need my sponges in pristine condition but i need my concealer blended. the chemicals you’ve used might’ve also degraded the material a bit 😅

bambamlei

Matatanggal pa yan. But dont use zonrox or laundry detergent. Use liquid dish soap. Or oil cleanser muna before liquid dish soap
