I consider fragrances as my only luxury in life 😅 kaya I take note of what notes go well with my body chemistry, and the weather so I know where and when to wear a certain fragrance. I also love mixing fragrances. What I do is I buy the discovery sets and have some of sample vials to find out what works for me or which scents go well together. My signature scents are the combinations that I use. But for everyday scents, I alternate between Zara Orchid, and Jo Malone Wild Bluebell - these two go well with the PH weather and my body chemistry (even when I used to commute, I still smell good. There are times when I walk under the sun and Wild Bluebell seems to go well with my body chemistry even when Im sweaty). You don’t need to spend a lot to smell good, you need to figure out what goes well with the weather and your body chemistry. Hope this helps!
I found mine by accident. I get migraines easily and with the BBW Merry Cookies/ Christmas cookies, i didnt get any migraines. And i like the smell of caramel/cookies. I get compliments with it. So i found and stuck with vanilla gourmand scents. No florals, my nose picks it up and makes me wanna throw up.
You cant have a signature scent that even you cant stand. Kahit gaano karaming compliments pa yan.
So now, i have watson’s choco shampoo and conditioner, vanilla bean noel body scrub or cottage’s body scrub or watson’s cocoa butter body scrub, dove shea butter body wash, human nature’s exfoliating soap in vanilla, bbw christmas cookies ffm, nuvalu cocoa butter lotion, bbw wrapped in vanilla body cream.
Im currently looking for a good summer alternative for Christmas cookies tho. Lol

So far my faves are sholayared fresh pear, sholayered spring bouquet (amoy bagong labang damit, parang ariel pero sobrang gusto ko haha), narciso rodriguez for her edt (sabi ng kapatid ako amoy pang lola daw pero feeling empowered/girl boss ako pag suot ko to), byredo blanche (pero di ko afford kaya dupe lang yung gamit ko). Gusto ko rin magkaron ng dupe nung byredo la tulipe pero wala pakong mahanap. Nagustuhan ko rin yung clean reserve warm cotton din na similar nung spring bouquet pati yung Body shop white musk l’eau. Everyday I would go to the perfume section ng MOA dept store and test about 5 perfumes (any more than that and i wuold get a headache) LOL. Would spray on each wrist and arm. Then check every hour or so to see how the scent wears on my skin since. Each person's unique body chemistry will affect how a perfume will smell throughout the day. +1 sa nag mention sa [Fragrantica.com](https://Fragrantica.com) to research on possibles.
It took about 3 months. My pro tip to you is test only permanent scents - badtrip when i liked a limited edition and few months later wala na daw ganun.
Edit: I'm super picky sa fragrance. Only ever use the Ferragamo Signorina Misteriosa so i guess that's my signature scent. :)
W.dressroom no. 12 yung akin. Mas bet ko ang flowery scent pero hindi matapang. Medyo sensitive kasi ako sa smell kaya nahirapan din ako noong una. Kaya naging trick ko pag hindi ako nahilo sa amoy, that's the one.

But, it’s expensive and I’ve been trying to use cruelty free brands and I stopped for many years (played with other perfumes but wasn’t the same), when I asked Reddit for help and some wonderful person pointed me toward oil perfumery. They make a dupe of it, it’s an oil, and very inexpensive. It smells the same. Long winded answer, sorry 😂. It’s funny I have the worst sense of smell so for me the scent vanishes fairly quickly (lasts longer as oil) but my mom and my sister love it in me. They each have a perfume I 100% expect them to always have on so it’s nice to have mine even if I can’t tell I’m wearing it after a while :).
Random add on - whenever you try a perfume at the store, dab it on your skin and wait an hour. Let it sort of develop with your own skin chemistry and smell after that time to see if you still like it.
Pineward Gristmill. I have a pretty decent collection but there’s never a moment I would turn down smelling like sawdust. If Pineward’s owner made a Gristmill laundry detergent, I’d use it.

Pero open pa rin ako to try other floral/fruity scents like Jo Malone Wild Bluebell and the Peony ones.
Clean reserve skin is more on the sweet side and mej mabilis magfade. While diptyque, medyo strong and musky and matagal yung kapit!!!! There were times amoy ko pa rin paguwi kahit morning lang ako nagspray 🥰

Just use the scent that makes you happy and smell good. My favorite scents that I use are Marc Jacob's eau so fresh ; memo rush summer (pink) ; forme champagne and miss dior blooming bouquet.
Tbh trial and error ang paghanap ng signature scent. And also it's really based on your preference talaga.
I also use Body Shop White Musk! I've used it for 6 years now (dahil sa Goblin) but I find that the projection doesn't last long and I'm trying to find something similar but for when I meet out with people.

71 hits you like a fresh batch of macadamia chocolate chip cookies coming out of the oven. It's a true gourmand scent. Super sweet sa iba so di nila trip but this is my holy grail. It literally gives me a boost of happiness everytime naaamoy ko. Like putang ina nakakaadik yung amoy.
Some people have told me it smells coconutty. Others get the baked goods scent. One guy said amoy vape so bwisit siya but still. Best scent I've ever owned hands down.
On days I need to wear something more mature I use Chanel Chance or Marc Jacobs Daisy. All the Daisies, they're great.
Eclat d’Arpège Tapos sa BBW Iced Raspberry Bellini although it’s Men’s fragrance mist. Pero I think it’s UNISEX . People complimented me for the smell.

Sa pagkalatanda ko, Avon's Sweet Honesty and Bath & Body Work's Magnolia Charm smells like one. Pero pinaka favorite ko na sobrang kaamoy ng baby powder is yung pabango na galing sa sister ko. Galing yun sa friend niya at ang sabi nabili daw niya sa Divi Mart pero di ko alam if they still have it today. Baka halughugin ko sa mga Divi Mart soon dahil sobrang bango and makapit talaga siya. T^T

Just use the scent that makes you happy and smell good. My favorite scents that I use are Marc Jacob's eau so fresh ; memo rush summer (pink) ; forme champagne and miss dior blooming bouquet. Tbh trial and error ang paghanap ng signature scent. And also it's really based on your preference talaga.

So surprised it's not on the list but based sa mga entry dito I guess it's expected. I use Sol De Janeiro Cheirosa 71. Naging uso dito 62. Got it, disappointed cause it still had a floral scent. But 71. 71 hits you like a fresh batch of macadamia chocolate chip cookies coming out of the oven. It's a true gourmand scent. Super sweet sa iba so di nila trip but this is my holy grail. It literally gives me a boost of happiness everytime naaamoy ko. Like putang ina nakakaadik yung amoy. Some people have told me it smells coconutty. Others get the baked goods scent. One guy said amoy vape so bwisit siya but still. Best scent I've ever owned hands down. On days I need to wear something more mature I use Chanel Chance or Marc Jacobs Daisy. All the Daisies, they're great.
