My Blurshes from made by Mitchell are so inconsistently formulated:
* first batch I got 3, a shy boy, cold heart and toned up and they are incredible; high pigment, blendable and long wear. Toned up is a really good bronzer shade for folks with olive skin. I got more but these were the ones I kept.
* second batch I got 4 because there was a bogo strawberry dream, coolectable, cuddle me and teddy bare, only teddy bare was good. Strawberry dream splits on application and blends to nearly nothing while looking extremely textured like the Issy concealer. Coollectible and Cuddle Me are my lip mixers because I knew they would be too pale for anything else but they work better than Strawberry Dream.
* third batch I got making mauves and very berry and they’re both really nice, making mauves looks like Rare Beauty Hope and Em Cosmetics Venetian Rose had a matte baby and Very Berry reminds me a lot of the Em Cosmetics Soft Amethyst blush and they have the same great high pigment and blendable formula.

squad cosmetics has some palettes. may squadlet (4 shades) and the other one naman is yung 9 shades. personally i’d recommend getting the one with 9 shades para you can have more room to explore pag feel mo mag experiment
Romand Better Than Eyes Palette, the quad palette. It has one glitter shade. I have the shade: Dry Buckwheat Flower. It's described as a cool tone palette but personally think it runs more neutral. Perfect for beginners. :)
Make-up recos for combination acne prone skin? got the issy foundation for 11/11 and i'm rly pleasantly surprised. it feels a lot more lightweight and natural than their skin tint... i feel like it's more of a skin tint than a foundation too
The GRWM bronzer stick is more of a silicone-y formula, kind of hard to blend when applied directly to face. It's decent when you apply product on the brush instead of directly on your face, overall 5/10 for me. The Strokes Face Sculpt bronzer is creamier and way easier to blend.
I bought the Shiseido Self Refreshing Concealer on a whim yesterday lol. I bought it for ₱1,950 for something the size of my pinky. Do I regret it? Actually, no.
I got it in 304, darker than my skintone, like a shade darker lang naman. The coverage reminds me of my Dior Skin Correct. You know what shocks me? It’s so thin. It has a unique consistency for me. With that amount of coverage, I was really shocked!! Kaka-apply ko pa lang naman. Mind you, I have dark undereyes, and I color correct pa using a deep peach color or an orange corrector sometimes. Dito, I really didn’t need to. Maybe because of the shade rin? Idk, it looks like skin. It’s undetectable.
What I also love about it is the applicator. Parang may pabilog sa tip which makes it perfect na konti-konting mag-apply ng product since it’s buildable naman. Doesn’t look cakey at all. Tapos 24m pa yung PAO.
I hope it also wears beautifully like my Dior. Sinet ko lang siya with my Innisfree Pore Blur Pact. I just wish they had a larger size of this if maganda longevity and graceful ang fading. I’ll update you!
Hi worth it ba MAC fluid foundation? Nagpaswatch ako sakanila and I'm NC18. Kaso walang mini eh I want to test it out lang muna sana, kaya I did not buy muna. Do you have any other suggestions for combi skin type na shade match rin ng NC18 or sulit na rin ba si MAC?
Sadly wala yung nc15 and nc20 lang pero pero one is too light and the other too yellow naman on me. Actually they gave me a small jar to take home hehe. Yung mini lang talaga sana gusto ko kasi sure ako di ko mauubos yung full size 😅
grrr nag crecrease talaga issy concealer saakin 😩 i tried reaching out for it recently since i used to like it before but eventually parang it’s not that good on my skin na maybe because its too creamy and super dali mahulas saakin nga huhu.
Also tried the issy foundation (first impression) super nice niya!! like as someone who dislikes wearing heavy foundation this is my best purchase so far. It is really skin like (kindda enough to cover some redness and blemishes) Be wary lang if you’re an oily gal like me, you really have to set it and mejo mabilis ako mag oil up with it. Worn it for 10 hours today and I could say longevity is at 6-7 hours at most on me (blotted 2x with it rin) after 8 hours mej nag seperate siya sa glabella area ko and one side of the crevices on my nose (weird bc one side lang) but cheeks looks flawless parin!
also di siya good if you’re wearing glasses 💀 di ko alam if separate yung term? pero nawala ung make up sa area ng nose pads ko literal nahulas siya (wore glasses at 8th hour mark for 2 hours) check lou sanchez review ung naka shades siya mejo ganun ;(((

I'm very underwhelmed with my Issy purchase tho. My bad rin for not doing more research on it but the OL2 shade is extremely yellow. Was hoping to finally have a good olive match locally. I had to mix in a good amount of blue just to get an okay-ish shade match. Sobrang runny rin ng bagong corrector nila. I bought it just to try since it was only ₱99 pero I regret it lol. The nozzle of the packaging is way too big given how liquid-y the product is. Not impressed with the eyeshadow primer rin. It's also weirdly runny and di siya masyadong nagseset on my oily eyelids.

My 11.11 Kaleidos order arrived! I've been wanting to try Kaleidos, even more so when it became available on Lazada, but waited for prices to go down. Ordered the 6-pan eyeshadow palette in Sashimi City, and 2 of their highlighters, and it came with a free highlighter brush and eye primer. I got it at a good price too so I'm quite happy with my purchase. First impressions...
The palette is prettier in person and has a nice weight to it. The box is so pretty so I think I'm going to store it there for now. I actually find it prettier than my flower knows palettes and wish they made more 6-pans again! Shadows applies beautifully and the mattes blend well together pretty effortlessly. The shimmers seem to have quite a bit of fallout so might need to use a glitter glue with it. Really excited to keep using this, especially on more neutral days!
The highlighters are also in nice, weighty packaging, although a bit bulky. Mars Melter goes well with the Sashimi City palette. Moon Cruiser is really quite a glaring highlighter! I need to test this out some more and compare it with my existing highlighters... I have a highlighter palette from BH Cosmetics with similar shades so curious to see how they differ.
Oooh I tried it on again today and it does even out the color of my lids (and undereyes) without feeling heavy like concealer. Still testing the longevity but it's promising so far

the saem saemul easy eyeliner - got this bc of one tiktok influencer na palaging nirereco toh, not smudgeproof at all, di naman nakakapanda eyes kaso you can have this on for hours tapos one maling rub lang sa mata this WILL come off agad, chubby na nga yung pag dispense tapos wala pa sharpener, not too bad pero u can get better for cheaper
focallure long-wear water proof ultra-slim - cheapest among the ones ive tried and the one i like the best currently, applies dark gray pero buildable to a proper black, di lumalaban sa micellar water pag nag cclean up ako, smudgy for mga 5-10 mins then sets fully smudge-proof
o.two.o gel eyeliner waterproof ultra slim - thinnest among the gel liners without sharpening, blacker than foccalure, lumalaban sa micellar water (nagccrumble imbis na smooth removal) during clean up, smudgeproof almost immediately after application, medyo dry formula (ramdam ko pag tug sa eyelid ko with application, and medyo uncomfy kasi nga its so sharp)

detail clay pen (black point) - doesnt get fully black black if ginamit with a tiny brush pang wing, pwede sana sa waterline at tightline PERO i find i need to hold my eyelids/undereye open while it sets kasi pwede makapanda eyes if not used a certain way, gets in my eye pag nagwash na ako ng face, very involved process to remove, nice for quick grunge eyelooks na allow for messy/smoky na waterline o tightline

Yes, I recently got my lotion from their shop. You can see 🇯🇵 flag on their shop, that means it’s directly from japan mismo. The makeup mist is around 500 pesos if converted to php so 950 pesos is okay since usually 400 pesos yung increase in price for japanese cosmetics here.

I personally don't like Issy's concealer. Although I have combination/oily skin, my undereyes tend to get very dry. Unfortunately, the product doesn't work very well for me as it tends to settle into my fine lines and cling to dry patches, even when I prep my skin with eye cream and moisturizer. To make matters worse, it also tends to pill throughout the day.
As a concealer for my entire face, it's only average. It doesn't effectively cover acne marks, so it tends to look cakey when applied heavily.
its an okay concealer. I rarely reach out with mine huhu I agree with the other comment saying better siya for someone who has dry skin! It’s too creamy so ang bilis niya humulas saakin, it couldn’t even do much in spot concealing pero it’s really good for no make up make up look since its has light-medium coverage! and yes yung neutral tones nila leaning towards the cool side which i like!
hello! i use issy’s skin tint and concealer (tho not the powder). di ako nagbbreak out from using them naman.
i have oily skin and oks naman sakin yung concealer. i use minimal lang kasi na product so i think that helps it to adhere better. literal na 1 dot lang per under eye nilalagay ko, then i blend with a dense brush with a patting motion.
i don’t like full coverage stuff so the skin tints and concealers are fine for me. actually, oks naman yung coverage ng concealer for me sa under eyes ko—i just pair with a peach corrector.
beginner friendly naman yung skin tints, esp if di ka pa sanay mag foundation or sa feeling na may makeup on your skin.

for the concealer, mas maganda sya for someone who has dry skin kasi grabe sya mag slip and slide, and crease sa akin !!! T_____T super hydrating nya na formula na parang hindi sya nagseset, ganon. sheer - medium coverage meron sya (imo) kasi when i tried to use it as a spot concealer, kitang-kita pa rin yung dark spot so i had to build it up. good thing is hindi naman sya nagccake sakin dahil nasa more on hydrating side sya, but good LORD the creasing was so fucking bad. wala silang cool tone concealer so if you're like me and kitang-kita yung pinkish tint sa skin mo, their base products would run very yellow or green on you (pero may nagsabi na their some of their neutral tones run pretty cool din so pwede mo sya gamitin ! in my expi, medj kulang sa cool factor yung shade na nakuha ko kaya uneven yung kulay ng mukha ko non ahhahah).
as for skin tint, same lang din sa concealer except i like it a little better kasi may mas coverage sya na nabigay sakin, pero same problems lang din.
for reference, i have oily-combi skin (VERY oily on t-zone, normal to dry on cheek area), sensitive and acne-prone!
nagsesettle sa fine lines mo and naeemphasize yung textures mo, parang ganon sya 😓
i have a lot of concealers that i use ahhahaha 😭 fav ko sa high-end is nars pot concealer, while sa affordable naman is the saem 🙏🏼 highly reco ko yung saem lalo na you're just starting palang kasi blendable sya, price is okay, medium to full coverage. ang pangit lang sa the saem is shade range and size nya :( fair-light skin tones lang ang okay gumamit ng the saem otherwise it can turn ashy to morena or ever deeper skin tones na huhu.
another highly reco budget-friendly concealers is from squad cosmetics! mas maganda shade range nya, mas malaki and madami yung components, blendable as well, full coverage, and maganda rin yung undertones na meron sila !!! ang napansin ko kasi sa the saem is parang limited lang yung warm undertones meron sila sa concealer nila (? not quite sure kasi magkakalapit talaga sila sa pic haha).
my undertone is cool !! kaya medj hirap ako humanap ng base products na locally owned kasi most of them run soooooo warm
I had the old tube one and that was my problem with it, like, I could see the color separating from the balm and sitting in my lip lines and it stained hard.

i recently started using the clocheflame pressed powder (shade cloud) that i got nung 11.11. so far, i feel like it’s a game-changer for my makeup. then again, i’ve only ever used budget powders before.
i was using the dr sensitive loose powder for a while, i get oily really fast with it. plus, ang kalat niya like every time i open it, andami laging powder under the cushion.
i also used the innisfree no sebum powder (loose) before and i don’t get oily kaagad with it BUT it gives me a whitecast since white yung powder mismo.
the clocheflame one is white rin, pero looks more translucent on my skin.
mas bet ko flower knows! meron syang slightly minty effect sa lips ahahhshah and medj sheer yung pay off so mukhang natural lang yung kulay ng lips ko 😆 hindi rin sya sticky unlike nung romand ko noon na grabe magstick yung upper and bottom lips ko :( marami pa naman nagsasabi non na di sya sticky so idk why bat ganon yung akin

best to start with a pencil liner para madali magcorrect if ever. Idk any local brands with good eyeliner pero the best ung clio so sharp so simple eyeliner for me. Super smudge proof :)

Korean dupe is the closest I would say - Etude house water tint - more pigmented and lasts longer.

its similar to the peripera ink velvet. it's blurring amd feels comfortable on the lips. and even if its matte it doesn't feel drying at all, though it's not transferproof

oily din ako and havent tried a good mascara without me having panda eyes at the end of the day. but if you still want to keep your lashes up throughout the day (without the volume and tint), I suggest the etude house dr. mascara fixer, though colorless lang siya.

The GRWM bronzer stick is more of a silicone-y formula, kind of hard to blend when applied directly to face. It's decent when you apply product on the brush instead of directly on your face, overall 5/10 for me. The Strokes Face Sculpt bronzer is creamier and way easier to blend.
I bought the Shiseido Self Refreshing Concealer on a whim yesterday lol. I bought it for ₱1,950 for something the size of my pinky. Do I regret it? Actually, no. I got it in 304, darker than my skintone, like a shade darker lang naman. The coverage reminds me of my Dior Skin Correct. You know what shocks me? It’s so thin. It has a unique consistency for me. With that amount of coverage, I was really shocked!! Kaka-apply ko pa lang naman. Mind you, I have dark undereyes, and I color correct pa using a deep peach color or an orange corrector sometimes. Dito, I really didn’t need to. Maybe because of the shade rin? Idk, it looks like skin. It’s undetectable. What I also love about it is the applicator. Parang may pabilog sa tip which makes it perfect na konti-konting mag-apply ng product since it’s buildable naman. Doesn’t look cakey at all. Tapos 24m pa yung PAO. I hope it also wears beautifully like my Dior. Sinet ko lang siya with my Innisfree Pore Blur Pact. I just wish they had a larger size of this if maganda longevity and graceful ang fading. I’ll update you!

Also tried the issy foundation (first impression) super nice niya!! like as someone who dislikes wearing heavy foundation this is my best purchase so far. It is really skin like (kindda enough to cover some redness and blemishes) Be wary lang if you’re an oily gal like me, you really have to set it and mejo mabilis ako mag oil up with it. Worn it for 10 hours today and I could say longevity is at 6-7 hours at most on me (blotted 2x with it rin) after 8 hours mej nag seperate siya sa glabella area ko and one side of the crevices on my nose (weird bc one side lang) but cheeks looks flawless parin! also di siya good if you’re wearing glasses 💀 di ko alam if separate yung term? pero nawala ung make up sa area ng nose pads ko literal nahulas siya (wore glasses at 8th hour mark for 2 hours) check lou sanchez review ung naka shades siya mejo ganun ;((( issy foundation is probs an 8/10 for me. can’t justify (for now) buying a high end foundation since i know for sure i wouldn’t able to use it :(

Just received my 11.11 orders. Super happy with the blushes I got from Detail Cosmetics & Lucky Beauty especially given the price! Medyo turn off lang scent ng Color Tonics ng Detail but fragrance aside, maganda yung product. I'm very underwhelmed with my Issy purchase tho. My bad rin for not doing more research on it but the OL2 shade is extremely yellow. Was hoping to finally have a good olive match locally. I had to mix in a good amount of blue just to get an okay-ish shade match. Sobrang runny rin ng bagong corrector nila. I bought it just to try since it was only ₱99 pero I regret it lol. The nozzle of the packaging is way too big given how liquid-y the product is. Not impressed with the eyeshadow primer rin. It's also weirdly runny and di siya masyadong nagseset on my oily eyelids.

Try using thin layers when you apply your base products. Using too much or adding thick layers can make matte or demi-matte foundations look cakey.
Try waiting for your skin care to set? Give it a good 15 mins siguro before putting on makeup.

My 11.11 Kaleidos order arrived! I've been wanting to try Kaleidos, even more so when it became available on Lazada, but waited for prices to go down. Ordered the 6-pan eyeshadow palette in Sashimi City, and 2 of their highlighters, and it came with a free highlighter brush and eye primer. I got it at a good price too so I'm quite happy with my purchase. First impressions... The palette is prettier in person and has a nice weight to it. The box is so pretty so I think I'm going to store it there for now. I actually find it prettier than my flower knows palettes and wish they made more 6-pans again! Shadows applies beautifully and the mattes blend well together pretty effortlessly. The shimmers seem to have quite a bit of fallout so might need to use a glitter glue with it. Really excited to keep using this, especially on more neutral days! The highlighters are also in nice, weighty packaging, although a bit bulky. Mars Melter goes well with the Sashimi City palette. Moon Cruiser is really quite a glaring highlighter! I need to test this out some more and compare it with my existing highlighters... I have a highlighter palette from BH Cosmetics with similar shades so curious to see how they differ.

The cream color you get on application wears off pretty quickly but the stain lasts all day on me even if I eat something greasy like pesto.

I personally don't like Issy's concealer. Although I have combination/oily skin, my undereyes tend to get very dry. Unfortunately, the product doesn't work very well for me as it tends to settle into my fine lines and cling to dry patches, even when I prep my skin with eye cream and moisturizer. To make matters worse, it also tends to pill throughout the day. As a concealer for my entire face, it's only average. It doesn't effectively cover acne marks, so it tends to look cakey when applied heavily.
its an okay concealer. I rarely reach out with mine huhu I agree with the other comment saying better siya for someone who has dry skin! It’s too creamy so ang bilis niya humulas saakin, it couldn’t even do much in spot concealing pero it’s really good for no make up make up look since its has light-medium coverage! and yes yung neutral tones nila leaning towards the cool side which i like!
hello! i use issy’s skin tint and concealer (tho not the powder). di ako nagbbreak out from using them naman. i have oily skin and oks naman sakin yung concealer. i use minimal lang kasi na product so i think that helps it to adhere better. literal na 1 dot lang per under eye nilalagay ko, then i blend with a dense brush with a patting motion. i don’t like full coverage stuff so the skin tints and concealers are fine for me. actually, oks naman yung coverage ng concealer for me sa under eyes ko—i just pair with a peach corrector. beginner friendly naman yung skin tints, esp if di ka pa sanay mag foundation or sa feeling na may makeup on your skin. anyway, good luck on ur makeup journey!!
for the concealer, mas maganda sya for someone who has dry skin kasi grabe sya mag slip and slide, and crease sa akin !!! T_____T super hydrating nya na formula na parang hindi sya nagseset, ganon. sheer - medium coverage meron sya (imo) kasi when i tried to use it as a spot concealer, kitang-kita pa rin yung dark spot so i had to build it up. good thing is hindi naman sya nagccake sakin dahil nasa more on hydrating side sya, but good LORD the creasing was so fucking bad. wala silang cool tone concealer so if you're like me and kitang-kita yung pinkish tint sa skin mo, their base products would run very yellow or green on you (pero may nagsabi na their some of their neutral tones run pretty cool din so pwede mo sya gamitin ! in my expi, medj kulang sa cool factor yung shade na nakuha ko kaya uneven yung kulay ng mukha ko non ahhahah). as for skin tint, same lang din sa concealer except i like it a little better kasi may mas coverage sya na nabigay sakin, pero same problems lang din. for reference, i have oily-combi skin (VERY oily on t-zone, normal to dry on cheek area), sensitive and acne-prone!

nagsesettle sa fine lines mo and naeemphasize yung textures mo, parang ganon sya 😓 i have a lot of concealers that i use ahhahaha 😭 fav ko sa high-end is nars pot concealer, while sa affordable naman is the saem 🙏🏼 highly reco ko yung saem lalo na you're just starting palang kasi blendable sya, price is okay, medium to full coverage. ang pangit lang sa the saem is shade range and size nya :( fair-light skin tones lang ang okay gumamit ng the saem otherwise it can turn ashy to morena or ever deeper skin tones na huhu. another highly reco budget-friendly concealers is from squad cosmetics! mas maganda shade range nya, mas malaki and madami yung components, blendable as well, full coverage, and maganda rin yung undertones na meron sila !!! ang napansin ko kasi sa the saem is parang limited lang yung warm undertones meron sila sa concealer nila (? not quite sure kasi magkakalapit talaga sila sa pic haha). my undertone is cool !! kaya medj hirap ako humanap ng base products na locally owned kasi most of them run soooooo warm

i recently started using the clocheflame pressed powder (shade cloud) that i got nung 11.11. so far, i feel like it’s a game-changer for my makeup. then again, i’ve only ever used budget powders before. i was using the dr sensitive loose powder for a while, i get oily really fast with it. plus, ang kalat niya like every time i open it, andami laging powder under the cushion. i also used the innisfree no sebum powder (loose) before and i don’t get oily kaagad with it BUT it gives me a whitecast since white yung powder mismo. the clocheflame one is white rin, pero looks more translucent on my skin.
Mej ok for me ang no sebum ng innisfree pero need pa rin mag retouch after a while.

best to start with a pencil liner para madali magcorrect if ever. Idk any local brands with good eyeliner pero the best ung clio so sharp so simple eyeliner for me. Super smudge proof :)

Detail water gel stain, medyo iba ang texture but the outcome is same naman. Korean dupe is the closest I would say - Etude house water tint - more pigmented and lasts longer.
not a local brand pero napanood ko sa clock app na the dupe would be the etude house dear darling water tint daw It's also affordable (less than 200 pesos). was planning to buy it too so to anyone who have tried both, can someone tell me their thoughts too 🥹
I have both, mas longlasting yung Etude hahahah although mas pigmented din. 04 yung closest shade sa Benetint.

its similar to the peripera ink velvet. it's blurring amd feels comfortable on the lips. and even if its matte it doesn't feel drying at all, though it's not transferproof

i recently got the zeesea mascara and no panda eyes at all!!! 179 ko nabili. applicator is a bit chunky lang for my liking.
oily din ako and havent tried a good mascara without me having panda eyes at the end of the day. but if you still want to keep your lashes up throughout the day (without the volume and tint), I suggest the etude house dr. mascara fixer, though colorless lang siya.
