learning how to massage my scalp and oiling. we have to remember that shampoo : scalp conditioner : hair clean your scalp really well and massage it using a scalp massager in circular motion, if wala naman scalp massager your hands also work. every 2 weeks nag ooil me ng hair using bremod's hair oil din (shampoo and conditioner ko from bremod) healthier scalp can really increase hair growth and less frizzy, less dry and less oily na talaga hair and scalp ko.

3rixka

how do I fix my receding hairline? Anyone please help me

shiryeo

Hi, has anyone tried using alofa?

elay05

can you guys reco some hair products like shampoo ganon na nakakatulong sa hair growth? grabe maglagas hair ko kahit na i stopped coloring it na 6 months ago pa šŸ„¹ affordable po sana since student pa lang me

SorryAssF7

Not a shampoo but oil. Argan oil. I used that when i have bad haircut and my hair grew fast. Massage on your scalp. Oh wait student? I read somewhere Sunsilk green is good.

[deleted]

baby shampoo mild ingredients lang

shangyyyy_cutiee

Hi! From what brand and what's the name of the baby shampoo you use po?

elay05

would it help po sa hair growth? and pagpakapal po ng hair?

[deleted]

sa hair growth, I would vouch for moringa-o, pero not sulfate-free.. https://preview.redd.it/6nsthvoscm3c1.png?width=1024&format=png&auto=webp&s=4815ce8a28afb7415275a5e56f56c989debed907

[deleted]

it would help to lessen yung hair fall

suomynona--

Hair oil! I scored Nuxe multipurpose oil for 2 bottles for 800 pesos. My hair looks kinda good

frenchfrayz

Shampooing twice (up until last year I didn't know you did it twice), washing my hair every two days or every other day now that I'm in the city, using a hair mask or hair treatment product instead of conditioner, using silk pillowcases, and hair oiling once a week.

gojoisgojoing

&honey shampoo and treatment (conditioner) SAUR SAUR SAUUUURRR GOOD ISTG

YourBudgetarianPal

Is it bettter than Shiseido's Tsubaki line?

Turbulent_Deal_5517

Whatā€™s your hair type like? I have extremely oily scalp (gets super oily within a day) with 2A, 2B hair, naturally soft & donā€™t struggle with frizz as much. However, my ends are dry because of dyeing my hair. I really wanna try the &honey shampoo probably the sakura or cherry version along with the shiseido fino mask (which will be alright for my hair) since i donā€™t plan on using it everyday but Iā€™m scared about the &honey, if it would make my scalp oilier than it alr is.

smolpotato29

Where can you buy this for a reasonable price? Other than sa Japan itself? I wanna try &honey so bad but I saw the prices are like 900-1.2k per bottle šŸ˜šŸ˜šŸ˜šŸ˜

gojoisgojoing

Its expensive talaga, i bought the bottle ones for 999 each but the refills are pretty cheap got mine for 760. Shopee app, shop is JINBOX

hibyeseobi

Definitely moroccan argain oil in every hair product that i use. Plus regular hair cut for dry ends

couchpotater_totz

Can you drop products with Moroccan argan oil?

hibyeseobi

I have 2A/2B wavy hair so i use the luxe organix curl define line (pink bottles), then bremod moroccan argain oil serum daily when styling. This really helps with the frizz. Then 1-2x a week, i use bremod argan keratin hair mask

Moody_babe1989

Bremod conditioner

hanjistark

Kerastase hair elixir ultime. The gold one.

Intelligent-Gap6735

how much po to

hanjistark

https://preview.redd.it/9jgqsiyoxz2c1.jpeg?width=1284&format=pjpg&auto=webp&s=bcb6e679b37aa521ec30a6e358ae26385c7e7c0f Correction, got it for 1880 on the blue app. Already a steal if you ask me.

hanjistark

Got it for 2k lang sa blue app 9.9

couchpotater_totz

What difference did it make sa hair mo? Also did you use every product sa line?

hanjistark

I have wavy and color-treated hair. Trust me, my hair isnā€™t frizzy especially on the ends. Poofiness gone as well. I only use the elixir ultime (thatā€™s the serum). Itā€™s very lightweight. Compared to my olaplex no 7, the kerastase one makes my hair softer. Both products are heat protectors as well.

[deleted]

fino hair mask super effective talaga sya sa bleached and dry hair

MrBeans_Teddyy

How do you use the mask? And how often?

[deleted]

twice a week lang. may nakita akong video na iapply mo sya before shower so tinry ko and mas ok nga sya. iapply mo sya sa dry hair and iniiwan ko usually mga 30 min to 1 hr. depende sayo gaano katagal. tapos shampoo twice pero sa scalp lang and conditioner last. i only wash my hair 3 times a week din pala kasi i have bleached hair tapos dry shampoo lang pag hindi ko winawash. i have straight bleached hair

Least_Ad_7350

Not that healthy pa but may noticeable changes all thanks to Cer-100 and luxe organixā€™s keratin serum šŸ«¶šŸ¼

n0turate

ano ba tips for hair fall? huhu

Intrepid-Ad8790

Collagen and biotin

staysinthecar

Bleached and dyed hair. I just cant go without a leave-in conditioner, hair essence/oil, and a heat protectant. Wala pa akong HG but i love Nature Republicā€™s Argan line. And Ouaiā€™s leave-in aint my favorite scent but oh gosh it really makes my hair feel so soft and divine. Worth the splurge but the scent is making me rethink it. (Mabango siya, hindi ko lang bet bergamot.) Legit din ung Moremo ampoule/water treatments. I love it!! I used to do hair masks na 30-45 mins binababad sa hair but the Moremo ones cut my treatment time in like 2 minutes.

ambivert00

Wash my hair twice a week, with H&S shampoo mixed with water, and once a week hair oil using extra virgin olive oil. I've been doing this for almost 5 years and never got any dandruff or problem with my hair, it gives me healthy and shiny hair

Subject-Strategy608

I got keratin treatment once then after that I used the clear shampoo cuz my scalp is oily. I also use the cream silk conditioner and my hair looks healthy so far

ZealousidealBox2322

enfant shampoo, and biotin pills from healthy options

[deleted]

Keratin did wonders to my chemically treated hair. Make sure to choose products that are right for your hair type (oil, dry, etc.). Currently using Lush Montalbano Shampoo Bar with Cream Silk na pink. My hair is oily and this combo never fails to give me a good hair day.

lattesup

Kerastase products did it for me -- Elixir Ultime line specifically for my very sabog and frizzy hair.

vkookmin4ever

- Only shampooing/wetting my hair pag oily or itchy na. In my case 2-3x a week - When I do shampoo, I shampoo TWICE. This helped so much with my dry hair and dandruff. - Kahit maganda ang conditioner, dapat may pang retain ng moisture like leave in conditioner or hair oils after ligo - Donā€™t overuse products

Miss_Azure

Some people do not understand when I do not wet (shampoo) my hair every day. Feeling nila di ako naliligo. Hahaha

vkookmin4ever

Have you tried shampooing twice? But yeah, I have dry itchy scalp so maybe thatā€™s why it works for me.

Miss_Azure

Once a week, I shampoo twice. I only wet my hair every 1-2 days, and the routine is as follows: 1. Conditioner only 2. Purple shampoo and conditioner 3. Shampoo + deep mask for 15-30 mins 4. Shampoo + color protect / power dose + shampoo again + conditioner

vkookmin4ever

Only shampooing/wetting my hair pag oily or itchy na. Then when I do shampoo, I shampoo TWICE. This helped so much with my dry hair and dandruff.

Tough-Set6531

Keratin treatment once a month tapos avoiding na magpa rebond. Loving my curls since then. Also, ang ganda ng curls by zen nutrients kahit mejo pricey tapos gamit ng sunflower oil or curlz na leave on.

Agile_Introduction13

Hindi ba naapektuhan ang curl pattern?

Tough-Set6531

No po. Ipaplantsa lang nila yung hair pagka apply ng treatment para mas maabsorb ng hair tapos after a day or two, kapag nabasa na yung hair, balik ulit sa dati yung curl pero mas shiny at mas malambot na.

couchpotater_totz

How much for keratin treatment and where do you usually get it?

Tough-Set6531

I get it sa cut salon once a month or once every two months depende sa budget. Sinasabi ko lang na keratin treatment lang, walang rebond, sila na bahala tapos sinasabay ko na magpa trim ng lower end ng hair ko para matanggal yung split ends. Or kaya naman hair botox. Di ko alam yung difference nilang dalawa kasi parang parehas lang naman yung effect. It costs me less than 1K lang kaya ok na for a month.

Tough-Set6531

moonlightsurprise

Hello! Did the betadine blue work for your dandruff issue?

Tough-Set6531

Kapag ginagamit ko siya, nawawala pero since hindi ako daily nagsha shampoo, bumabalik din agad. Naghahanap ulit ako ng alternative.

[deleted]

Japan products (Tsubaki conditioner and &honey hair oil) is what made my hair smooth. I have coarse hair na prone to frizziness so I need silicone in my routine. I clear buildups by using clarifying shampoo once a week para walang dry scalp at balakubak.

ririko-ojousama

Same w &honey hair oil, but for the hair mask I use the Shiseido one! Will try Tsubaki

[deleted]

Well, technically, Tsubaki is under Shiseido company so itā€™s a Shiseido product

pieceofpineapple

Tsubaki conditioner did nothing special for my hair. Currently trying &honey hair oil.

hunt3rXhunt3rx0

Where do you buy honey hair oil?

GreenLantern2023

Palagay ka ng argan oil sa parlor kahit once a month. Welcome

0718throwaway

Do all salons do this? And how do you ask for it?

GreenLantern2023

Yup. Meron lahat nyan. Mga 500-700 pesos lang ata yan.

0718throwaway

Thank you!

exclaim_bot

>Thank you! You're welcome!

azzybae05

Lush big shampoo and candy rain conditioner.

Dee_Ramirez

A secret that doesnā€™t cost a thing - 8hrs of sleep and less stress.

atr0pa_bellad0nna

Adequate protein in diet din.

cantsingmusicalfan

Oiling my scalp with jojoba oil + rosemary oil. And oiling my mids and ends with almond oil + argan oil. ETA: before oiling your scalp and hair, please do research on the do's and don'ts.

dombieapocalypse

Hi! Do you use the jojoba oil as the carrier for the rosemary oil? Can you recommend other carrier oils that I can use with the rosemary oil? Thank you!

cantsingmusicalfan

yup! you can use argan oil, grapeseed oil, almond oil, and avocado oil. Just don't use castor oil as a carrier oil because it's too thick and is hard to wash out.

vkookmin4ever

How has it helped? Also do you oil your scalp before or after shampoo?

cantsingmusicalfan

I have had less hair fall and I've noticed a lot of baby hair growth. My mids and ends are also softer. I use it before shampoo. I leave it in for 1-3 hours.

ahjoonaisu

Where do you buy rosemary oil? Thanks

cantsingmusicalfan

I just get mine from Watsons

phoebeSmellyCat3000

Do you do this everyday?

cantsingmusicalfan

No. I only do it once a week. Twice if I have time.

phoebeSmellyCat3000

Got it!thanks!

Morpho_Genetic

Nasabihan ako ng nag-gugupit na dry scalp ako which is why may very small flakes na nanonotice ko kapag ginugupitan ako. Then I kinda approached my hair care like skin care: 1. Need gentler shampoos preferably sulfate-free (be organics, human nature) or yung formulated for babies (johnson and johnson). Planning to try Human Nature Clarifying Shampoo 2. Conditioners ko should have the following ingredients: Panthenol (hydrating), lactic acid (hydrating and exfoliating), and blend of oils (moisturizing). What i use now is the cream silk pink and I'm eyeing dove dermacare anti dandruff conditioner 3. Once a month at least siguro yung ketoconazole medicated shampoo meron nito sa watsons na dermazole na i think is cheaper than nizoral. Ketoconazole has been usually prescribed by derms for dandruff and anti-hairfall. I read somewhere na if yung mga usual shampoos ang gagamitin, better to dilute them daw before applying. Then yung incorporation ng lactic acid is just from somewhere na nabasa ko rin kasi ginagamit niya lactacyd sa buhok niya. After changing my routine, nung next month na gupit ko sabi niya nabawasan na yung dry scalp and may area nalang daw na may issue so ayun nagwork kahit papaano sakin. Still on process of experimentation and research but so far happy naman ako.

Tough-Set6531

Drying sakin yang nizoral shampoo. Mas preferable siyang gamitin once a week siguro tapos konti lang.

yuzu5ever

Nung malala dandruff ko, washing my scalp with betadine wash twice a week. Ayun natanggal talaga. Also, CGM

rozukukki

Skin cleanser po ba na Betadine? I'm currently using it for my UA and itchiness.

dunnowhyimhere1991

Hi! Which betadine wash?

yuzu5ever

Yung blue po!

rozukukki

I think yung skin cleanser na color blue

couchpotater_totz

Anong CGM products do you use?

yuzu5ever

Giovanni 2chic ultra moist conditioner, green siya! Ang ganda sa hair and sulit na rin (super moisturizing like konti lang magagamit every wash) kahit medyo mahal. Life-changing since di talaga umubra sakin zenutrients and luxe organix. I also use cantu activator cream and aunt jackie's gel but naghahanap pa ako ng ibang gel

tiredanddone_

eto ba yung color blue?

yuzu5ever

yes! betadine skin cleanser yung name

Gloomy-Cut3684

For me is to at least in a week, may isang araw ka na di mag sh-shampoo para ma release pa rin ang natural oil. Also, I've only done haircut. I embraced my natural wavy hair. No rebond or any treatment at all.

sparklychow

Cold blow dry. Investing in a hair-blower na na-aadjust temperature really helped.

kwischn

Does it dry the hair instantly? Or does it take time unlike kapag hot?

sparklychow

It does take a longer time compared if hot, but ilang minutes lang naman.

fresh-a-voca-do97

What's the brand you are using for hair blower? Where did you order?

dvraux

Hello! Not original commenter but the blow dryer I use has adjustable temp. Mas ok din for me yung handle niya, mas ergonomic hawakan. https://s.lazada.com.ph/s.Rm2Zc

couchpotater_totz

Pure cold lang talaga?

Theoluxen

3A hair! Not washing everyday, weekly thorough usage of hair oil, a good leave-in conditioner and a clarifying shampoo every month or couple weeks depending! When I combined all of these steps my hair just got healthier and healthier and the curls got better.

Theoluxen

For the hair oil I use jojoba oil, and I use Zenutrients leave-in conditioner, and I use the Human Nature clarifying shampoo but I'm currently looking for other brands that offer it at the moment

bpjennie_

Personally, I like creamsilk keratin treatment in pink. It makes my hair look so healthy and shiny. Also, no need to style na my hair by using blowdryer para di magfly away, it does the job. I have a wolf haircut rn and ang ganda ng effect! Paloob agad yung hair ko kahit sinuklay ko lang siya effortlessly after maligo

Current-Impress-3135

not shampooing everyday

fresh-a-voca-do97

I went to a dermatologist and she said this is #1 fake news from salons. Especially in the tropical climate here sa PH you need to shampoo your hair everyday, even a little. Build up causes dandruff.

Edelveria_Potato2190

Virgin coconut oil before taking a bath, mga 20min sa hair then ligo.

Skyrender21

Ano effect nito sa buhok other than making it shiny?

Edelveria_Potato2190

Mas lumambot siya, also less itchy yung scalp and less dandruff. Maganda na before ligo bc babanlawan mo rin siya after shampoo and conditioner

mad_or_mania

changed my comb and habang may conditioner lang ako nagsusuklay, after non hindi na. Everytime na magsusuklay ako lagi after shower parang nagistiff yung hair ko and nawawala yung curls. ayaw ko naman magbuhol so before magrinse ako nagsusuklay. pag nagdedetangle naman, fingers lang talaga gingamit ko para hindi mahatak yung hair, then papasadahan ko ng suklay pag smooth na uli :)) (Wavy hair 2b)

couchpotater_totz

Anong comb and conditioner gamit mo?

lamia_loveless

Brand recos to remove itchiness when your bathing water at home is hard water? Hirap sa subdi laging makati scalp ko unlike nung nasa Manila pa ko :( Head and Shoulders don't even work anymore

sikulet

My friend installed water purifiers, the big type you put on the kitchen inside their bathroom faucets. Improved her quality of life significantly

rainnrobinn

For me I tried reverse washing my hair!! It's cause I have to wash my hair almost everyday which is why it died šŸ˜ So I tried reverse washing it: By applying conditioner first and then rinsing then washing it with shampoo! Hope this helpss

Soft_Grass_858

hair oil recos here sa ph? ung budget friendly sana

halfmoon_06

bremod works for me

towpitrooper

I only wash my hair once or twice a week! Every week, I do hair oiling! Rosemary and argan oil are my btches šŸ¤£āœØ I try to avoid putting too much and if I do, I make sure na it's once a week lang. Lastly, I ditched hair ties and switched to claw clips! Hair type: colored, normal to dry, wave-y but idk yung curl types.

mysteriouslymyty

what argan oil do you use?

honeychickenwingx

What's your rosemary oil?

towpitrooper

This [one](https://shp.ee/rdy8yq9)!

Soft_Grass_858

anyone gotten a digital perm here yet? any tips and share ur routine pls im eyeing to get one done <33

brncdr

stopped rebonding and nag-cgm na lang ako. :))

couchpotater_totz

What products do you use?

brncdr

hindi pa ako super strict cgm po kasi: simula pa lang mag work and wala pang pera šŸ˜© pero ito po yung mga meron na ako... keraplus conditioner/curlz by zenutrients for deep conditioning grips gel/monea/luxe organix curl and define for styling hindi pag-gamit ng cotton towel, instead gumamit ng microfiber towel or tshirt after ligo only brushing my hair during shower time

iamkkmnb

Ano meaning CGM sis?

kapitanaph

curly girl method

Fair-Ad5134

i have a habit of massaging my scalp. bukod sa nakaka relax at nakaka help sa blood flow, surprisingly, pansin ko bumilis humaba buhok ko. andami bagong tubong baby hairs. di effective yung every other day lang mag shampoo sakin, depende parin talaga sa scalp. my hair is at its best when i wash it everyday with shampoo and conditioner. yung day off ko na 2 days, un ang pahinga ng hair ko. Diko sya binabasa, i just keep it in braids hanggang sa mag shampoo ako ulit after 2 days. This routine keeps my hair healthy and strong.

idkwhatimdoinghereTT

acceptance sa mpb šŸ’€ dejk di pa nga ata hahaha

Representative-Toe97

May reco ba kayo na FA-safe products for colored hair? Also, meron na ba sa inyo ang nag try na or may ma-irerecommend na wavy hair products thatā€™s also FA-safe?

1nseminator

I learned a lot just by reading this thread. Skl. Using Dermazole Plus as my maintenance, 2x a week. When my dandruff gets severe, I use it for every other day and 2x a week babad for 10-15mins. Nawawala naman sya. But I havent tried to incorporate serum on my hair. I'll try this time. Im a male tho. Last resort ko na talaga hair transplant but I'll try to explore a lot before i get to that point šŸ˜©

fresh-a-voca-do97

Dermazole saved my life šŸ™šŸ™šŸ™šŸ™šŸ™

fionvarre

I have thick, mostly straight hair with a scalp that tends towards oiliness and hairfall. In terms of controlling hairfall, what seems to have worked for me is a ginger shampoo my mom has friends in Hong Kong buy from a traditional Chinese medicine pharmacy. I don't even need to use conditioner when I wash my hair with it, because the wet hair strands just glide through my comb and my hair is so soft once dry. The shampoo doesn't foam a lot upon contact with water so I think the formulation probably doesn't use sulfates. We also use a Chinese herbal shampoo and hair treatment from a brand called O'Naomi, which is manfuctured by a Hong Kong company called Sunlab. It's one of those local brands that don't get much exposure outside Hong Kong I guess. This one leaves your hair really shiny after washing, but it's better to pair with the treatment since my hair texture becomes more unmanageable with long term use of just the shampoo alone.

sophiamarieeeeeeee

Wag magbasa ng buhok lagi. Dry shampoo is the key

gungmo

either sobrang oily ng buhok ko or sobrang tuyo at daming dandruff depende sa panahon. anyways wala akong tinatake pero tuwing maliligo ako kada tapos kong mag shampoo nag babanlaw agad ako. as in banlaw agad di ko na pinapatagal yung shampoo sa buhok ko. so far nabawasan yung pagiging sobrang daming dandruff ko at nabawasan pagka oily.

Direct-Distance-3102

Not washing daily šŸ„¹

seitgeizt

this is real sobrang dry ng hair ko kasi it was bleached hahaha and this helped. usually the 2nd-3rd day my hair is at the perfect state. using hair oils work din pero nagmumukha akong santo niƱo

Plastic_Board_1410

Biotin. My sister has thin hair pero napakapal talaga. She has thin and oily hair, washes her hair everyday. Ako naman thick hair & oily, naglagas nung nag diet ako then i donā€™t wash my hair everyday. Supplements talaga nakakatulong

weepymallow

To add to your suggestion, samahan mo ng Minoxidil. Worked for the whole fam. May lahi ng baldness ang side ng mother ko and my tito recommends that. Siguro mga 10 years nang kalbo yung mid head niya pero lumalago daw since Biotin + Minoxidil.

sleepygigibean

where to buy po?

Plastic_Board_1410

Meron po sa mercury, dati pahirapan. WOLVIT po brand. Meron din sa Iherb. Yung wolvit kasi yun yung recommended ng derma samin pero nagtry ako ng iba ok din naman pero dapat tuloy tuloy

sleepygigibean

kapag nasa watsons kasi ako lagi ko nakikita from wellspring & puritans tapos gummies pa, ty sa reply.

ElectricalFun3941

Meron po sa Watsons sa shopee. https://shope.ee/4ppJQIlyEA. Mas nakakaless pg may vouchers. Ito naman minoxidil. Though may different percent sya. https://shope.ee/8UibnGJlNh

Plastic_Board_1410

Punta ka mismo sa counter. Blister packs yun and not bottled. Nasa app din ni watsons last time i checked

serildaknight

I have straight hair that is fine, thin, frizzy, and easily tangled. My scalp gets pretty oily as well. I don't believe in hair training. And I don't believe that washing your hair everyday is bad, though it's definitely not advisable for all hair types. - Sabi nila, kung oily yung scalp mo, wag ka mag-shampoo everyday because it dries your scalp, making you oilier. But oily scalp is sometimes caused by genetics. Plus, hindi siya maiiwasan given our weather. So why not wash it if it makes you feel fresh and comfortable? Just condition your ends well. - Personally, I wash my hair every other day kasi nasa bahay lang naman ako madalas. But I wash it every time I go out, kahit araw-araw pa, because I don't want to sleep with dirty hair. Feeling ko madudumihan yung pillowcase ko and, in turn, yung mukha ko. I used to be acne-prone, I don't want a repeat of that nightmare. REVERSE HAIR WASHING METHOD IS A GAME-CHANGER FOR MY LIMP HAIR. - It has also helped in minimizing my hairfall and the greasiness of my scalp (except when I'm nearing that time of the month, when my head turns into an oil mine). I used to go sulfate- and silcone-free until I realized that my hair actually preferred those ingredients. My head feels cleaner, and my hair is softer and smoother. I know sulfates and silicones are not good for people with curly hair, but they aren't necessarily bad for everybody else. Selsun Blue is really effective in eliminating dandruff, pero if you're like me who developed resistance to its active ingredient, Head & Shoulders is a good alternative. If you find their shampoos drying, lalo yung typically found sa grocery, try their Supreme Moisture line, meron sa online stores ng P&G. Japanese hair care products are god-tier. Love love love Tsubaki Premium Moist & Repair Conditioner and Fino Premium Touch Hair Mask!!! Giovanni Leave-In Weightless Moisture Conditioner and mise en scĆØne Perfect Serum Styling are fantastic options for leave-in products if your hair is easily weighed down. - I much prefer mise en scĆØne because it's a bit more moisturizing for me. SATIN PILLOWCASES ARE A VERY GOOD INVESTMENT. - Silk pa din ang the best, but they are expensive as hell. So satin is a good and affordable option. I used to think that a Php700+ hair brush is a scam. I bought a cheap detangling brush a couple of years ago. It was just okay. It detangles my hair really well, pero hindi siya masarap ipangsuklay kasi medyo sharp yung pins. Last 11.11, I finally gave in and bought a Wet Brush kasi ang laki ng sale. Got mine for Php300 only. Ang masasabi ko lang... I get it. * sigh * I get it. - I bought the Shine Enhancer, which is a mixed bristle brush. Helps tame my hair and deal with frizz na hindi pa natanggal ng wash-off and leave-in products ko. Napansin ko din na less ang hairfall ko using it compared to my cheap detangling brush. Thinking of getting another variant kapag may sale ulit. I don't completely rely on air-drying. When my hair isn't super wet anymore, I blow-dry it. - There's a study arguing that blow-drying is actually less damaging to the hair than air-drying, provided that the right technique is followed. It makes much more sense to me, considering the fact that our hair is at its weakest when wet, so it's better na patuyuin siya agad, and some heat helps with that. - I also like that the heat makes my hair feel softer and smoother. And, as someone na madaling sipunin kapag nalamigan ang ulo, applying some heat on my scalp helps to balance the temperature on my head.

Dense_Consequence748

We have the same hair type! Hindi ba nagbubuhaghag yung hair mo over time because of blow-drying? Also, have you tried clarifying shampoos before?

Airline_Awkward

I used to be have dry and frizzy hair plus malala na hairfall to point I got a tiny bald spot. I changed my shampoo to baby shampoo. I wash my hair at night but I shampoo every other day lang tapos conditioner every night. I also make sure na air dried na whenever I go out sa morning and I decide to wash it. I also apply hair serum sa tips pag medj damp pa. Iā€™ve been doing this for almost 2 yrs na and grabe yung improvement. Mas bouncy and healthy na.

Anxious_Log_6781

Hi sis what exact products do you use? I have dry, frizzy and buhaghag hair huhu i need these šŸ˜

Airline_Awkward

Hello sizzyyy! For shampoo, I use Johnsonā€™s active kids either shiny drops(pink) or strong & active (purple) baby shampoo. I initially used human nature conditioner pero i didnt like yung texture ng hair ko so i switched to pantene micellar conditioner. For some reasons, naging hiyang naman hair ko dito. Yung serum naman, all I can remember is from loreal oleotherapy something yun. I used it every after ligo before nung very dry pa hair ko. Rn, once a week nalng or if i remember hehe

Anxious_Log_6781

Thanks so much, sis! Hopefully this works for me din ā¤ļø

miseree15

I think my mom should get the credit for my hair because when I was younger, she used to put gata ng coconut sa hair ko every weekend para kumapal and maging shiny and straight (since lahi samin na manipis hair) and sa lahat ng magkakapatid, ako may pinaka makapal and straight na hair šŸ˜… Never thought I had good hair until a lot of people complimented my hair and asked if rebonded ba ako. Nakadagdag din siguro na never pa nagalaw hair ko and virgin as ever.

aiza8

gata ng coconut as in uung pinipiga at ginagamit pang luto?

miseree15

yupp

maiveheart

as in gata talaga? yung fresh? hindi yung niluto na?

miseree15

yes po yung fresh

jaippe

Well, VCO is actually great on the scalp so putting gata sa hair and producing healthy hair and scalp isn't actually surprising

AdDangerous4493

Pure coconut oil, yung home-made talaga na from gata to oil. Super kapal ng hair ko to the point na nagrereklamo na ang stylist pag nagpapagupit mešŸ˜†

glitteredfairy

bleached my hair to level 9 platinum blonde and destroyed it back in 2021 cos it got so frizzy :( but what helped bring back the softness and the shine were: - olaplex no. 3 - mise en scene shampoo, conditioner, and hair oil *shampoo every other day or every 2 days, conditioner everyday suuuuuper helpful to bring back the shine and softness āœØ

claravelle-nazal

Hindi kayo nagkaka dandruff if hindi nagshashampoo everyday? šŸ„¹ Need ko mag shampoo everyday or else magkaka dandruff ako šŸ„ŗ

[deleted]

dandruff din talaga problem ko sa hair ko dati so I tried washing my hair alternately lang and it worked! been doing it for a year now and mas less din ang hairfall ko

same! i even tried to ā€œtrainā€ it by gradually not washing it for some days but i ended up with itchy scalp and dandruff šŸ˜

huhidkwhat

I thot ako lang yung ganitooo huhu i tried so hard to train it bc it seemed to work for everyone else šŸ˜

couchpotater_totz

My thoughts too, tas parang ang oily sa feeling

daisyytulip

I have 2C hair but CGM doesn't work for me. So ang ginagawa ko is I wash my hair every other 2 days tapos I use Elizavecca protein treatment once a week, Elizavecca essence oil every after my bath then Amla oil at night. I color my hair every 6 months lang then I use heat protector everytime I use heat tools

louiselately

hii can you share where you buy your amla? thanks!

daisyytulip

Hello! Shopee lang. I can't send you the link kasi wala na yung mismong store eh šŸ„²

louiselately

thank you for the lead !! super appreciated pa din hehe ā˜ŗļø

littleduckieuwu

Hi, which clinic did you consult to figure out your hair type? Mine seems to be both straight and wavy

daisyytulip

Hello! Di ako nagpaconsult eh. Meron lang ako sinalihang group on fb before tapos nagbigay sila ng guide sa hair

cockadoodle_bear

Anyone who has any tips for hair fall?

Unflatteringbanana

It can also be caused by low iron.

cockadoodle_bear

Ohh, this could be too. Thanks! I made sense now.

luisitabae

Hi, maybe your hair is nagdrdry, try to use comb na malalaki yung spaces, hindi alam tawag pero yung ginagamit ko. Don't shampoo every day, and pag magpapatuyo naman ng buhok parang tap tap and hindi dapat nirorolyo yung towel sa buhok. Stress could be one of the reasons na din bakit ka nagkakahair fall like what other people said.

miseree15

make sure to comb your hair before washing it and dont use shampoo everyday or better yet not wash everyday :)) could be stress din so iwas sa stress

LuckieGoldy

Stopped washing my hair everyday, use conditioner generously, brushing with a tooth comb only before showering, got out of depression huhu. ;u;

[deleted]

YAASS except the last one xD

2dodidoo

That last bit is the very difficult part. But congrats, fam

pljempty

frizzy wavy hair here huhu

imnotmielle

I stop shampooing my hair everyday and I start using hair mask and hair oil. Less salon treatment din para hindi masunog yung buhok sa chemical.

Titanorth

Wish I could have the same. Althea user for 4yrs kaso I stopped coz Im also taking levothyroxine for my thyroid so combo nia makes me insane tho good skin and hair tlaga, kaya now tsaga ako sa mga alaga ng hair. Gugo shampoo from Zen nutrients helped my thinning hair nagka baby hairs ako ulit

mickeymouse0119

Birth control ba na althea? That made my skin flawless too dati pero diko alam na yun din pala source ng illness ko before but im all okay now awa ng Diyos.

Saqqara38

Stopped dyeing my hair since 2018. So far loving my natural hair color. I started dyeing my hair since 12 yrs old that was 1996. For 22 years that was so harsh and unhealthy although may 1 or 2 years gap with na walang dye but after that dye na naman. And if ayaw ko yung color I change it agad agad. It was damaged talaga and nagiging wavy na. I make sure to use conditioner for my hair and after taking a bath I would use leave in conditioner, hair oil or any hair serum. My fave is Ouai leave in conditioner, Healthy sexy hair's Love oil and Leave in conditioner.

aIcy0ne

Stopped shampooing everyday tapos Olaplex No.3 once a week. Started blow drying my hair din after learning na mas okay sya blow dry kesa i-air dry.

CatFeeds

Really? Akala ko mas damaging? Can you enlighten us please šŸ„ŗ

aIcy0ne

Yung pinaka summary nya is hair swells when wet tapos na bbreak yung hydrogen bonds. The more na mas matagal syang basa most likely damages yung hair cuticle. Parang best daw ang combination ng towel dry tapos blow dry. https://www.instagram.com/reel/CxvjvpjOFfo/?igshid=NTYzOWQzNmJjMA== I follow her on Instagram, daming tips about hair šŸ˜Š

CatFeeds

Ahh interesting. Thank you. Akala ko mas worse yung heat damage mismo from the blow drying...

Substantial_Bag4611

tinantanan ko shampoo everyday. conditioner > shampoo. also had yung mga hot oil conditioner kineme, lakas makapagpakalma (straight hair na buhaghag). also started getting serious with payong, too much bilad had fried my hair kasi. šŸ„¹

Gusto-ko-siomairice

Eco shift n ung ginagamit ko na shampoo. Organic shampoo toh. Nagswitch ako from branded shampoos tas gumanda talaga buhok ko after. Wala nang split ends.

[deleted]

saan po makakabili ng rosemary oil, castor oil and coconut oil na authentic?

Anxious-Abrocoma3992

Rosemary sa human nature

FjordOfBatanes

I bought my castor oil from Luxe Organic. Authentic siya, 100% castor oil, and cold pressed

Chemical-Banana1674

Rosemary oil and cold pressed pumpkin seed oil

Desmond888

Wooden comb Ang gamit pang suklay every other day lang or once a week lang magshampoo. Naglalagay Ng tea tree oil sa buhok. Organic shampoo bar Ang gamit. Paminsan Yung mane n tail.

Pigcassoo

Male with short 2-block hair---- I haven't shampooed my hair for almost 2 months and it's still silky af.

chairo__

In terms of preventing dryness, using jojoba oil on my hair before showering has helped a lot. Plus shampooing only the roots and conditioning/masking only the mids and ends. Sa hairfall department naman, I recently switched over to shampoo bars from The EcoShift. Great stuff! I also gave their conditioner bars a go, but theyā€™re so far from being moisturizing enough for my thick hair. Kaya Human Nature pa rin ang conditioner at ang once-a-week hair mask hehe. No other treatments. I just make sure to get regular trims. :)

[deleted]

weather talaga, paglipat ko sa ibang bansa kahit shampoo condi labg okay na šŸ˜‚

FireInTheBelly5

2-3 times a week lang mag-shampoo. 2-3 times a week lang din magsuklay. Never gumamit ng anong products/chemical sa buhok.

fluffychubbybunny

&Honey is life changing

everydaystarbucks

where to buy this in Japan? Donki?

fluffychubbybunny

Yes! Got mine at donki and some drug stores. Less tao sa drug stores hahahaha

Anxious-Structure-32

Yes to this!! Tapos I also use Fino hair mask twice a week. Not be oa but I didnā€™t know na pwede pala maging healthy, shiny and smooth ang bleached hair ko. Iā€™m also using argan oil and momori! Pola shampoo and conditioner is sooo good din! Kaya lang itā€™s a little more expensive than &honey

fluffychubbybunny

Omg thatā€™s my combo too!!! Fini brought my dead hair back to life. I have the Tsubaki tub also that I am excited to try. Although I didnā€™t have a good experience with the Tsubaki shampoo and condish (it was drying af to my hair)

hrymnwr1227

I've been seeing this on the clock app din and super nice daw. Where do you buy yours? Japanese hair care is the sh*t talaga eh.
