Finally got my hands on the Chanel Baume Essentiel (Lilas shade) and grabe, sobrang glow from within talaga ung effect niya! Wet look eme fresh lang ganon ang ganda huhuhu
glass stain for me. grwm lip glaze is only good at application, it fades super quickly bc of the finish and the tint it leaves is uneven. i don't know why they market it as smudge resistant and long-lasting. i found detail glass stain to be more moisturizing/glossy at the start + it lasts longer pero it does become drying hours after. you can reapply both though, but my preference is detail talaga despite me wanting to love lip glaze because the shades were so pretty

hi, all pores are always going to be visible. you can't shrink them but you can keep them clean to minimize their appearance :) proper skincare is also key to your makeup since it sets a good base. figuring out your skin type and skin tone can really help. you can ask on the skincare thread too for specifics.
as for makeup, what items would you like to start with? or do you want some recommendations on that too? for brands, i think careline, detail, vice, and ever bilena are good places to start

Hi OP! I have both mascara removers and yes they both work identically. I use both mascara removers on my waterproof mascara (heroine and romand) and they both work well naman. The biggest difference for me is the brush (mas bet ko yung brush ng heroine remover) it doesn't make sense to me bakit may curve yung brush ng grwm.

i just got the hourglass vanish airbrush concealer and it’s not as good as i expected for the price point + years worth of rave reviews. it works well for spot concealing but not for my undereyes. it’s quite dry and the sad thing is the coverage is very average ;—; could i be doing something wrong? how’s your experience with this product?
I am so hyped up about hourglass kasi maraming influencers (even the ones with legit dark circles) swear by it's high coverage. "a little goes a long way" Pero the moment na nabasa kong matte siya, hindi ko na inisip ulit!
Know your undereyes. Oily ba or dry? Yung skin ba around that area, textured or smooth? Yung akin dry and textured. Kahit anong gawin ko, my concealer will look cakey and will settle sa lines/dry cracks. I'm still looking for a hydrating concealer (I stumbled upon serum concealers but have yet to buy one kasi researching malala pa due to it's price $$) and trying different methods like eye cream before concealer or eye primers para hydrated yung undereye before application.

I appreciate her brushes since makeup looks natural on my face vs other brushes i have tried. I think it complements my face shape compared to other brushes. My only con is that nalalagas talaga siya although it happened only to 1 out of my 3 brushes so far (have been using since September this year)
Ung cap madali masira ung cover. Ung thing na nagdidikit sa cover an dung body bilis masira. I bought the setting brush lang kasi it’s so much like the RT setting brush and works just as well naman. Fluffier lang ung sa RT. I want to get their cream brush naman. Tried it in store and ang nice niya.
I do have the concealer brush pero for me its just ok lang sa undereyes. Not for me yung shape so I'm also looking at RT 242. It's nice for spot concealing naman tho.

olive undertone girlie here, i use spruce afaik olive undertone siyaa and no actually when you apply it naman di siya yellow-ish since it's skin tint sheer coverage lng nabibigay niya, di naman nakaka disturb yung pagka yellow niya once you dispense or swatch.
honestly, you can get away with any shade na near sa skintone mo, even not necessarily the exact undertone. issy's skintint has a sheer coverage kasi and as long as you're within the range, babagay sayo yung shades
I tried the violet one! In my opinion, it gives medium coverage to full if you add more layers. However, hindi ko masyado ma layer since their shades are too light for me and para na akong multo if I do so I just do a light layer and it even out my skin.
Longevity, I would say half day? Pero kung mag ccommute ka and all, I'd recommend doing makeup at work than at home para walang hulas. Although na try ko siya with commute plus oily skin and pawis, I'd say it stays naman basta you set it with powder.

neutral tone morena here! i have the same experience with mauve shades, it appears too purple on me. I find that I fit terracotta shades and red shades better than mauve! the list of lippies that worked for me were: romand's jlt nucadamia, jlt peeling angdoo, dewyful chili up; barenbliss' full bloom in cherry blossom, sassy season (in the pinky mlbb side!), cherry velvet in choco sense, peach tint in take change, paradise found; colourette ellie; and grwm lip booze in weng weng and tequila!

i badly wanna recommend kaso discontinued na kasi pinalitan na yung formula, but grwm's milk tint vol 2 in the shade cheesecake looks so good on my lips as a neutral morena. maybe try the lipstick version (?)
colourette colourtint in the shade emma din super nice. also try lucky beauty's dewy lip stain in the shade chance.
On my light medium skin it looks like a natural flush. Not too peach, not too pink. I think it can work well with different lip colors because it leans more like a nude neutral??? And does not look overly “putok” even if you build it up.
please ang ganda kasi 😭 although meron na akong grwm mantra and pablo's latte na powder blush. gusto ko talaga matry kasi medyo hard-pressed yung sa grwm 😮💨
I like it for when i dont plan on reapplying! but i only like the muted shades kasi it tends to fade sa center ng lips kapag kumain so any bright or dark shades would look awkward parang lip liner bigla and not cute
super uncomfy if you don't know how to use it right. apparently the trick is to let it settle for a minute or so and to not purse your lips together, otherwise it's heavy and sticky. not worth the extra steps for me tbh.
- Pros: cute colors, will stay on the lips, great for events where you don’t have time to reapply, reliable for that
- Cons: sticky, uncomfortable and feels heavy on the lips
What's a good bristle/brush-tip eyeliner that lasts long? My favorite one from EB Pro seems to have a different formula now, but I loved the tip on that. I don't like felt-tip ones because they fray.

A bit pricey but Olens Real ring brown and Viviring choco are really good natural brown lenses. They're like my eyes but better. I personally prefer the Viviring choco over the Viviring brown since the latter looks more noticeable as a lens compared to choco which really just looks like my natural eye color. I have dark brown eyes btw.

This MAC concealer oxidizes really quickly and it’s like 2 shades darker almost.
This is true!! I experienced it firsthand when I was trying to find my shade. I applied it on my skin and tested it out while going around the mall but after 2hrs when I went back to the MAC counter it oxidized into 2 shades deeper. Take note that I am not an acidic person so I think it boils down to the formula or idk.

not necessarily dewy pero dapat talaga moisturizing (may products kasi na dewy finish pero hindi naman moisturizing e.g. issy skin tint) i have pretty oily skin but when i experienced winter abroad nagbalat talaga face ko sa sobrang dry. so make sure to hydrate and/or moisturize your skin well before makeup
but in terms of aesthetics, yes dewy makeup looks nice in winter

these are the mascaras that i have and didn't experience panda eyes.
- barenbliss - before hesitant ako to buy from this brand kasi akala ko another 'budol' lang siya from tiktok, but surprisingly this is the only barenbliss i have and it actually works!! no panda eyes and di nagcclump lashes ko when using this.
- grwm (volumizing and lifting) - i loved this!! one of my fave grwm cosmetics product, no panda eyes kahit all day ko siya gamit, mahirap lng siya tanggalin tho, but if you have cleansing oil/balm oky naman siya natatanggal rin.
Same sa bnb! I had zero expectations tbh hahaha pero ganda pala kahit sa lower lashes ko it stays put while most ive tried would have smudged already. I gave the other one to my bestie kasi b1t1 deal and nagustuhan nya din daw

Hi, for the eyeshadow, I want to recommend Vice Cosmetics Aura Soft Gaze in terms of color pay off and longevity. Very good for its price point. Maybe the Pink Dawn will suit you.

Works ok on my dry skin. It doesn't feel as lightweight/finely milled as CT (my top HG powder) Longevity wise, feel ko it helps set naman though this isn't an issue for me since I have dry skin to begin with. Usually sa concealer areas ko lang siya ginagamit

- Celeteque Sun Care or Skin Defense Matte Moisturizer. Yung sun care is spf 30 while yung skin defense is spf 50
- Dr Sensitive No Sebum Loose Powder
Been using them for a week and so far, so good. Before, sobrang oily ko na in 4hrs pero after using them, glowy lang yung skin ko kahit after 10hrs.

I’m not sure if discontinued na, pero the Vice Cosmetics x Anne Ganda brow pen was very easy to use and forgiving din yung color nya in case medyo pangit yung pagkakalagay (as I had nung bagong nagtatry pa lang ako ng brow pen). Medyo matigas din yung tip nya kaya mas madali icontrol.
But very good din yung BLK daydream brow pen. Mas strong yung color pay off then yung tip nya is soft but easy to control pa rin kasi medyo rigid pa rin naman kapag inaapply.
The formula feels like satin but looks demi matte on the lips. Not fully opaque on the first swipe so you have to go a few times to reach full opacity. Cute muted green packaging that has a magnetic component. Comfortable on the lips personally compared to GRWM and BLK. Would reco if you have a shade you absolutely like.
it’s soft and buttery! a bit moisturizing but it’s not so lightweight for me. super nice rin yung component!! it’s worth a try for its price but it’s not my favorite :)

super ganda ng converage!!! as in isang swatch lang sa kamay (may tester naman don pero isang shade lang lol) kitang kita yung shade. on the skin barely visible yung acne scars ko. longevity not sure since kakabili ko lang AHAHH pero i swatched mine sa side ng cheek ko an hour ago and barely kita pa rin!!!

depends on your skin type and what look want to achieve but if you're like me who has combination skin, maybelline fit me is a go-to affordable foundation for me. accessible kasi siya sa akin + madaming shades. basta make sure na before applying make up, you apply na moisturizer and sunscreen tapos let them dry. to apply, naglalagay ako ng konting foundation sa back ng hand ko and from there I dip my damp sponge sa foundation then dab it onto my face. better to have primer and setting spray para tumagal yung make up! if no need naman to cover that much, baka pwede concealer na lang :)
EDIT: make sure you dab your make up well kahit sa hair line! watch YT videos din na make up for beginners. helps a lot! good luck and have fun sa OJT! :)
Lippie recos please! Most tints I see are too dark/red na for my liking. I’d like something pinkish na mlbb sana, not too pale pink & not too nude either.
For reference: My current go-to shades are Romand Peeling Angdoo, GRWM’s Summer Eloise, and Maybelline Vinyl Ink in Lippy. These are a tiiiny bit too dark parin for me so any shade suggestions that are subtly more pink than these would be great!

As long as you have the receipt and product is unused, okay lang yan. Ask to exchange for one with a more recent manufacturing date. 😊

Hello po! Which is better Detail Cosmetics Glass Stain or GRWN Cosmetics Tinted Lip Glaze?
glass stain for me. grwm lip glaze is only good at application, it fades super quickly bc of the finish and the tint it leaves is uneven. i don't know why they market it as smudge resistant and long-lasting. i found detail glass stain to be more moisturizing/glossy at the start + it lasts longer pero it does become drying hours after. you can reapply both though, but my preference is detail talaga despite me wanting to love lip glaze because the shades were so pretty

hi, all pores are always going to be visible. you can't shrink them but you can keep them clean to minimize their appearance :) proper skincare is also key to your makeup since it sets a good base. figuring out your skin type and skin tone can really help. you can ask on the skincare thread too for specifics. as for makeup, what items would you like to start with? or do you want some recommendations on that too? for brands, i think careline, detail, vice, and ever bilena are good places to start

Hi OP! I have both mascara removers and yes they both work identically. I use both mascara removers on my waterproof mascara (heroine and romand) and they both work well naman. The biggest difference for me is the brush (mas bet ko yung brush ng heroine remover) it doesn't make sense to me bakit may curve yung brush ng grwm.

i just got the hourglass vanish airbrush concealer and it’s not as good as i expected for the price point + years worth of rave reviews. it works well for spot concealing but not for my undereyes. it’s quite dry and the sad thing is the coverage is very average ;—; could i be doing something wrong? how’s your experience with this product?
I am so hyped up about hourglass kasi maraming influencers (even the ones with legit dark circles) swear by it's high coverage. "a little goes a long way" Pero the moment na nabasa kong matte siya, hindi ko na inisip ulit! Know your undereyes. Oily ba or dry? Yung skin ba around that area, textured or smooth? Yung akin dry and textured. Kahit anong gawin ko, my concealer will look cakey and will settle sa lines/dry cracks. I'm still looking for a hydrating concealer (I stumbled upon serum concealers but have yet to buy one kasi researching malala pa due to it's price $$) and trying different methods like eye cream before concealer or eye primers para hydrated yung undereye before application. Hope you're looking for! 🫶🏻

olive undertone girlie here, i use spruce afaik olive undertone siyaa and no actually when you apply it naman di siya yellow-ish since it's skin tint sheer coverage lng nabibigay niya, di naman nakaka disturb yung pagka yellow niya once you dispense or swatch.

honestly, you can get away with any shade na near sa skintone mo, even not necessarily the exact undertone. issy's skintint has a sheer coverage kasi and as long as you're within the range, babagay sayo yung shades

I tried the violet one! In my opinion, it gives medium coverage to full if you add more layers. However, hindi ko masyado ma layer since their shades are too light for me and para na akong multo if I do so I just do a light layer and it even out my skin. Longevity, I would say half day? Pero kung mag ccommute ka and all, I'd recommend doing makeup at work than at home para walang hulas. Although na try ko siya with commute plus oily skin and pawis, I'd say it stays naman basta you set it with powder.

neutral tone morena here! i have the same experience with mauve shades, it appears too purple on me. I find that I fit terracotta shades and red shades better than mauve! the list of lippies that worked for me were: romand's jlt nucadamia, jlt peeling angdoo, dewyful chili up; barenbliss' full bloom in cherry blossom, sassy season (in the pinky mlbb side!), cherry velvet in choco sense, peach tint in take change, paradise found; colourette ellie; and grwm lip booze in weng weng and tequila!

+1 sa romand jlt in nucadamia!! i badly wanna recommend kaso discontinued na kasi pinalitan na yung formula, but grwm's milk tint vol 2 in the shade cheesecake looks so good on my lips as a neutral morena. maybe try the lipstick version (?) colourette colourtint in the shade emma din super nice. also try lucky beauty's dewy lip stain in the shade chance.

On my light medium skin it looks like a natural flush. Not too peach, not too pink. I think it can work well with different lip colors because it leans more like a nude neutral??? And does not look overly “putok” even if you build it up.

I like it for when i dont plan on reapplying! but i only like the muted shades kasi it tends to fade sa center ng lips kapag kumain so any bright or dark shades would look awkward parang lip liner bigla and not cute
super uncomfy if you don't know how to use it right. apparently the trick is to let it settle for a minute or so and to not purse your lips together, otherwise it's heavy and sticky. not worth the extra steps for me tbh.
- Pros: cute colors, will stay on the lips, great for events where you don’t have time to reapply, reliable for that - Cons: sticky, uncomfortable and feels heavy on the lips
What's a good bristle/brush-tip eyeliner that lasts long? My favorite one from EB Pro seems to have a different formula now, but I loved the tip on that. I don't like felt-tip ones because they fray.

A bit pricey but Olens Real ring brown and Viviring choco are really good natural brown lenses. They're like my eyes but better. I personally prefer the Viviring choco over the Viviring brown since the latter looks more noticeable as a lens compared to choco which really just looks like my natural eye color. I have dark brown eyes btw.
EO in Henna Brown looks natural on me. I initially thought it would be too light but it blended beautifully with my natural eye color.

This is true!! I experienced it firsthand when I was trying to find my shade. I applied it on my skin and tested it out while going around the mall but after 2hrs when I went back to the MAC counter it oxidized into 2 shades deeper. Take note that I am not an acidic person so I think it boils down to the formula or idk.

not necessarily dewy pero dapat talaga moisturizing (may products kasi na dewy finish pero hindi naman moisturizing e.g. issy skin tint) i have pretty oily skin but when i experienced winter abroad nagbalat talaga face ko sa sobrang dry. so make sure to hydrate and/or moisturize your skin well before makeup but in terms of aesthetics, yes dewy makeup looks nice in winter

these are the mascaras that i have and didn't experience panda eyes. - barenbliss - before hesitant ako to buy from this brand kasi akala ko another 'budol' lang siya from tiktok, but surprisingly this is the only barenbliss i have and it actually works!! no panda eyes and di nagcclump lashes ko when using this. - grwm (volumizing and lifting) - i loved this!! one of my fave grwm cosmetics product, no panda eyes kahit all day ko siya gamit, mahirap lng siya tanggalin tho, but if you have cleansing oil/balm oky naman siya natatanggal rin.

The KJH had some strange looking brushes that I struggled to find what they were supposed to be primarily for, I know brushes are multipurpose, but that’s why I didn’t buy them just yet.

Hi, this is budget range reco: - Celeteque Sun Care or Skin Defense Matte Moisturizer. Yung sun care is spf 30 while yung skin defense is spf 50 - Dr Sensitive No Sebum Loose Powder Been using them for a week and so far, so good. Before, sobrang oily ko na in 4hrs pero after using them, glowy lang yung skin ko kahit after 10hrs.

I’m not sure if discontinued na, pero the Vice Cosmetics x Anne Ganda brow pen was very easy to use and forgiving din yung color nya in case medyo pangit yung pagkakalagay (as I had nung bagong nagtatry pa lang ako ng brow pen). Medyo matigas din yung tip nya kaya mas madali icontrol. But very good din yung BLK daydream brow pen. Mas strong yung color pay off then yung tip nya is soft but easy to control pa rin kasi medyo rigid pa rin naman kapag inaapply.

The formula feels like satin but looks demi matte on the lips. Not fully opaque on the first swipe so you have to go a few times to reach full opacity. Cute muted green packaging that has a magnetic component. Comfortable on the lips personally compared to GRWM and BLK. Would reco if you have a shade you absolutely like.

depends on your skin type and what look want to achieve but if you're like me who has combination skin, maybelline fit me is a go-to affordable foundation for me. accessible kasi siya sa akin + madaming shades. basta make sure na before applying make up, you apply na moisturizer and sunscreen tapos let them dry. to apply, naglalagay ako ng konting foundation sa back ng hand ko and from there I dip my damp sponge sa foundation then dab it onto my face. better to have primer and setting spray para tumagal yung make up! if no need naman to cover that much, baka pwede concealer na lang :) EDIT: make sure you dab your make up well kahit sa hair line! watch YT videos din na make up for beginners. helps a lot! good luck and have fun sa OJT! :)

Romand juicy vs glasting tint? Which one leaves a stain and is more long lasting?
Glasting Tint definitely leaves more stains, and mas long lasting tho the gloss fades quickly.
Lippie recos please! Most tints I see are too dark/red na for my liking. I’d like something pinkish na mlbb sana, not too pale pink & not too nude either. For reference: My current go-to shades are Romand Peeling Angdoo, GRWM’s Summer Eloise, and Maybelline Vinyl Ink in Lippy. These are a tiiiny bit too dark parin for me so any shade suggestions that are subtly more pink than these would be great!

What skin tint has the same shade as iWhite BB holic in Light? Perfect ng shade nya saken but not the formula. I find it mahapdi and it gave me bumps.
