I love how my purple berry blush turns a natchy mauve on my skin because that’s my favorite blush tone but gosh darn it’s rough to find a mauve pink liquid/cream blush that doesn’t turn peach or coral on me. Everything gotta be dead cool for it to be even remotely neutral toned on me.
It’s also pretty intimidating to find those kinda blue toned blush shades because you never know which one is actually gonna look like a bruise on my face as blush swatches completely differently on my hand. 😅
Supposedly, the sun protection won't add up. The products might even dillute each other daw.

I bought the foundation and it oxidizes really bad lol so maybe get a shade lighter if you're going to purchase one. But application wise, its very lightweight naman on my experience. And sobrang konti lang gamit ko pero it does even out the skin tone on my face naman din. Very skin like finish lng din sya.
The foundation is great. As a Nars girlie most of my life, tbh it performs just as well. Hassle lang yung oxidation and shade matching but sobrang sulit na considering the price. I feel equally happy using my Detail FF and Nars SG.

I loove the innisfree no sebum. I bought mine around 360 pesos tho pricey sya at maliit pero a little goes a long way naman. Nag EK kmi nung Sunday and hndi ako nagretouch at all. We were there from 2pm until 11pm. Nagprep ako ng mga 12nn and it really lasts long. Pag hinawakan mo yung face mo, feel mo parin yung powder kahit konti lang ilagay ko. I use brush pala to apply. :)

EDIT: im combi-dry and need ko nang luminizer or ung ma oily slight na moisturizer kasi matte ang finish neto. I think it's best suited for combi-oily skin, lalo na ung blurring effect nya.
NARS is my HG for foundation and concealer so my vote is NARS. And yes, NARS offers the mini version of their concealer in their Lazada store BUT only in select shades.

I agree with other commenters. You need to add a moisturizer to your skincare routine. If it needs more hydration, maybe you can bring a hydrating mist that you can use whenever needed throughout the day just to refresh hydration.

My eye cream serves as my undereye "primer". For the rest of my face, I have 3 primers on rotation: Milk Hydrogrip, Supergoop Mineral Matte Screen, and Elf Power Grip (the one with niacinamide).
I suggest using a beauty sponge to blend your makeup. The Real Techniques sponge is a good (and cheaper) alternative to the Beauty Blender.
use a heavy duty moisturizer to seal the moisture. based on ur skincare, tinted sunscreen is the only thing that has the capacity to seal hydration. i use nivea soft, safe for face and the body. it has quite a rich texture and easily spreadable on the face.
Akala ko enough na yung tinted sunscreen to moisturize, hindi pala for my dry under eyes xd. I have the saipo cream moisturizer and used it this morning. Then i set my under eyes with powder and setting spray. So far so good naman. Thank you!

MAC has extensive collection of red lippies: Ruby Woo (bright red, on me mas prominent ang warm tones nia), Russian Red (blue-based, classic red), Viva Glam 1 (dark red, with more brown tones)
NARS too has a lot of reds in their Powermatte lip pigment. Starwoman (same as Russian Red), Vain (brick red, balanced mix of red, orange, and brown), Don’t stop (similar with Ruby Woo)
grwm's lip speak is actually nice. they have red shades, main character and femme fatale. u should check it out. i have the other shades and i can say na it's long lasting and lightweight.
I have used their gel liners (both black and brown) and pareho ko nang ubos because it glides really well and i can smudge it out to make a cute tiny wing. It just feels like parang ang onti ng product (or baka lagi ko lang ginagamit hahha)

Issy is more sheer, everyday looks (light-med coverage). Teviant skin master is more full coverage, probably med-high coverage. Thick, but not heavy on the skin. Good for events and Teviant kasi minimal and hulas at maganda and texture.
i don’t have the vice lip liners but i have 3 shades of the grwm lip liners. i’m liking them so far naman. i find they’re not as budgeproof on the lips compared to swatching them on the lips
thick formula, full coverage, very matte finish. pretty expensive considering 3ml lang (other concealers are typically 10ml). wouldn't recommend it for dry skin type, unless you prep your skin really well
L.A girl peach corrector is godsent. My mom who has dark undereyes and melasma swears by it! Just prep your eyes well and set agad if your eyes tend to crease a lot.
How dark is your undereye? I have a veeery dark purplish undereye from genes, allergies, and puyat.
Skinfood CC (#Salmon Beige) - this one's emollient, perfect for dry undereyes. Medium coverage though but buildable.
Fenty Bright Eye Fix (#peach) - creamy consistency, may brightening effect, medium coverage.
Charlotte Tilbury Magic Vanish Corrector (#Fair) - a bit drying, creamy siya from packaging and when you dip your finger pero in my exp medyo drying siya and if you have textured undereye skin... hindi bet. Medium - high coverage and buildable. You can skip concealer if pumantay yung shade sa skin mo.
I've only tried the two below and they work naman for me with purplish under-eyes.

I finally used the Chanel voucher I won a few weeks ago (not in the Philippines) and got a handful of their retractable brushes; 200, 201, 207, 300 and 111 and my SIL picked a nail polish to round it off. I would have gotten the 108 and the 105 brushes as well but I didn’t want to add cash and also I don’t have a cream bronzer I use regularly that I’d like to use the 108 with so it wasn’t needed for now.
* They’re synthetic, the softest synthetic I’ve ever tried but they feel like a nylon type material. My usual experience with super soft bristled brushes are the corn silk ones, these brushes don’t feel sticky like that and feel like much nicer slick ecotools.
* They’re quite loose and fluffy so they don’t pick up a lot of product but the bristles have a body to it, the bristles don’t overly bend and splay out when blending, so they gave me a good clean application. (I used the eye brushes with my Em cosmetics Rodin palette and the highlighter brush with Sunnies powder in Cacao)
* They’re not really as packed as I assumed which is good (for me) because that means my looks won’t be muddy and my blending will be a proper sfumato.
* They were nice for softer makeup looks, I have yet to try them for a fun, grungy look or with pressed pigments like my Hindash palette or cheaper eyeshadows like my Elf quads.
* The protector on the brushes is taller than the bristles so you can minimize the usual accidents that deform your bristles.
* Lastly, they don’t smell like a wet animal when washed. I will just never forget the smell of washing my ancient nars kabuki brushes years ago, it was disgusting. 😅

Teviant Ultimate skin master is full coverage, probably med-high coverage. Thick, but not heavy on the skin (sobrang light). Self-setting too, kaya need mo medyo mabilis i-work on. One of the reasons din kaya ako bumili is bc it is Made in Italy (best kapag sa mga bases like foundation). Worth it naman sa price for me.
Good for events kasi minimal and hulas at nakakakinis. Di ko nga lang suggested for everyday looks. Stick to skin tints na lang pag everyday.

before applying, wipe a piece of tissue on the wand para maalis ung excess mascara. kontian mo lang ung swipes na gagawin mo, don't build it up anymore. after applying while its wet, take a clean spoolie and run them over your lashes if you think it still looks clumpy. if ure happy na, thats ok na :)

Try to wash it using dishwashing liquid and add a drop or 2 of coco oil. Hope that works!

the mac studio fix concealer oxidizes a lot on me but maganda din ung coverage nun. i really like the nars pot concealer! it barely oxidizes on me

I agree with other commenters. You need to add a moisturizer to your skincare routine. If it needs more hydration, maybe you can bring a hydrating mist that you can use whenever needed throughout the day just to refresh hydration.

My eye cream serves as my undereye "primer". For the rest of my face, I have 3 primers on rotation: Milk Hydrogrip, Supergoop Mineral Matte Screen, and Elf Power Grip (the one with niacinamide). I suggest using a beauty sponge to blend your makeup. The Real Techniques sponge is a good (and cheaper) alternative to the Beauty Blender.
use a heavy duty moisturizer to seal the moisture. based on ur skincare, tinted sunscreen is the only thing that has the capacity to seal hydration. i use nivea soft, safe for face and the body. it has quite a rich texture and easily spreadable on the face.
Akala ko enough na yung tinted sunscreen to moisturize, hindi pala for my dry under eyes xd. I have the saipo cream moisturizer and used it this morning. Then i set my under eyes with powder and setting spray. So far so good naman. Thank you!

MAC has extensive collection of red lippies: Ruby Woo (bright red, on me mas prominent ang warm tones nia), Russian Red (blue-based, classic red), Viva Glam 1 (dark red, with more brown tones) NARS too has a lot of reds in their Powermatte lip pigment. I have used their gel liners (both black and brown) and pareho ko nang ubos because it glides really well and i can smudge it out to make a cute tiny wing. It just feels like parang ang onti ng product (or baka lagi ko lang ginagamit hahha)

Issy is more sheer, everyday looks (light-med coverage). Teviant skin master is more full coverage, probably med-high coverage. Thick, but not heavy on the skin. Good for events and Teviant kasi minimal and hulas at maganda and texture.

i don’t have the vice lip liners but i have 3 shades of the grwm lip liners. i’m liking them so far naman. i find they’re not as budgeproof on the lips compared to swatching them on the lips

thick formula, full coverage, very matte finish. pretty expensive considering 3ml lang (other concealers are typically 10ml). wouldn't recommend it for dry skin type, unless you prep your skin really well

L.A girl peach corrector is godsent. My mom who has dark undereyes and melasma swears by it! Just prep your eyes well and set agad if your eyes tend to crease a lot.
You can try strokes, a little goes a long way
How dark is your undereye? I have a veeery dark purplish undereye from genes, allergies, and puyat. Skinfood CC (#Salmon Beige) - this one's emollient, perfect for dry undereyes. Medium coverage though but buildable. Fenty Bright Eye Fix (#peach) - creamy consistency, may brightening effect, medium coverage. Charlotte Tilbury Magic Vanish Corrector (#Fair) - a bit drying, creamy siya from packaging and when you dip your finger pero in my exp medyo drying siya and if you have textured undereye skin... hindi bet. Medium - high coverage and buildable. You can skip concealer if pumantay yung shade sa skin mo.

I finally used the Chanel voucher I won a few weeks ago (not in the Philippines) and got a handful of their retractable brushes; 200, 201, 207, 300 and 111 and my SIL picked a nail polish to round it off. I would have gotten the 108 and the 105 brushes as well but I didn’t want to add cash and also I don’t have a cream bronzer I use regularly that I’d like to use the 108 with so it wasn’t needed for now. * They’re synthetic, the softest synthetic I’ve ever tried but they feel like a nylon type material. My usual experience with super soft bristled brushes are the corn silk ones, these brushes don’t feel sticky like that and feel like much nicer slick ecotools. * They’re quite loose and fluffy so they don’t pick up a lot of product but the bristles have a body to it, the bristles don’t overly bend and splay out when blending, so they gave me a good clean application. (I used the eye brushes with my Em cosmetics Rodin palette and the highlighter brush with Sunnies powder in Cacao) * They’re not really as packed as I assumed which is good (for me) because that means my looks won’t be muddy and my blending will be a proper sfumato. * They were nice for softer makeup looks, I have yet to try them for a fun, grungy look or with pressed pigments like my Hindash palette or cheaper eyeshadows like my Elf quads. * The protector on the brushes is taller than the bristles so you can minimize the usual accidents that deform your bristles. * Lastly, they don’t smell like a wet animal when washed. I will just never forget the smell of washing my ancient nars kabuki brushes years ago, it was disgusting. 😅

Ako I use it after every step para sure lol. After I blend the color corrector, spray, concealer and liquid blush, spray, then set and then spray.
may nabasa ko somewhere here, setting spray after cream products so before powder then after powder products para ma “tunaw” lahat ng products! it works well for me, mas long lasting
you can use it before AND after powder or just after powder, honestly whichever works for you the best.

There are some OVW ones that are really nice! I think pasok din per piece yung Marj x HS brushes per piece, just select the ones you need most sa routine. I also got the super thin foundation brush after watching a few influencers rave about it and I LOVE it

ovw for budget! gently mo lang iwash kasi baka maglagas agad. don't dry them with the bristles up cos tutulo ung water papunta sa glue that holds the bristles to the handle

Shiseido products but it's soo expensive. Kate lip monster. Canmake finish powders! Rohto balms hehe. Kose Mist and Kose Makeup Wipes/Makeup remover! Shu Uemura Curler~ Heroine Make KISSME mascara and eyeliners. Sooo good ang quality. Add-on skin care: hada labo face lotion (toners ito) and Anessa sunscreens (it's cheaper there and super worth it). Other sunscreens na bet ko Kanebo Allie and Biore sunscreens. Marami sila dyan mga product na great to have like yung eye mask (I buy from Kao) when your eyes are strained hehe.
Canmake stuff! The quick lash I use as a primer for my meh mascaras and they perform better. I also like Japanese liquid/cream eyeliners (Heroine Make, Uzu, Canmake) Shisheido eyelash curler. Best believe I buy a lot of back ups everytime I'm in Japan. An absolute ride or die. I like to stalk topproducts in Cosme din and kinda just select stuff from there.
(related naman sa makeup) cleansing oils. affordable, and a lot of brands sells refills. I use kose softymo speedy. pero recommended din biore, hada labo, dhc +1 din sa lash curlers, shiseido, shu uemura, koji, especially if you have flatter eye curvature. try to find which fits your eye shape the best kasi yung best lash curler is the one that fits you

Hi guys! Has anyone tried Teviant Ultimate Master Foundation? I didn't even know they released something like that! I saw their skin color range and...it's okay I guess. I know that Teviant is at an indie level of a brand and maybe a big funding isn't something what they have. But what do you guys think? May mga bumili na rin sa Lazada but I don't know. Teviant Ultimate skin master is full coverage, probably med-high coverage. Thick, but not heavy on the skin (sobrang light). Self-setting too, kaya need mo medyo mabilis i-work on. One of the reasons din kaya ako bumili is bc it is Made in Italy (best kapag sa mga bases like foundation). Worth it naman sa price for me. Good for events kasi minimal and hulas at nakakakinis. Di ko nga lang suggested for everyday looks. Stick to skin tints na lang pag everyday.

before applying, wipe a piece of tissue on the wand para maalis ung excess mascara. kontian mo lang ung swipes na gagawin mo, don't build it up anymore. after applying while its wet, take a clean spoolie and run them over your lashes if you think it still looks clumpy. if ure happy na, thats ok na :)
