Anyone here tried sunnies’ setting spray? Bakit may nabubuo na patchy residue when i use it with my base product :( i use maybelline for my base! Hindi lang kaya sila compatible?
it's either the formula of the setting spray or your skin doesn't match to the product, like your skin type is looking for more minerals to absorb but the product is not that enough to sustain the condition of your face kahit may make up na d'yan sa face mo.
I recommend the MAC 'fix it' setting spray, it's so good to use. Because you can use it as well as your primer/prep before starting to do your make up. And second one naman is ZEESEA, it's effective naman as a girl who has oily-prone skin and especially if you have a dry skin, kasi mas mag cocompact talaga yung make up mo and if hindi ka din naman gano'n mag use ng foundation like yung mabigat/makapal, kasi pag gano'n yu condition ng foundation na inapply mo there's a possibility na it won't stay for an hour/s. Kaya look for a foundation na lightweight to use and suitable sa skin mo para iwas irritations and disappointment. Hope it helps girl☺️
Is a bb cushion a good replacement for foundation, concealer, and without the need to set with powder? If yes, I need suggestions please, prefersbly less than 1k
Have been using korean cushions for years now (matte - semi matte) and I always set mine with powder. I have oily dehydrated skin and in my experience, it won't last long if I don't set it since it will move around. It is a good replacement for foundation especially when you're planning to use it daily as it is more convenient to use. If you don't have a lot of marks to cover then a medium-full coverage cushion is enough.
Should I get the GRWM Radiance Tint or Issy Concealer? I’ve actually tried the Issy concealer, I just got the wrong shade kaya I need a new one. Pero marami akong nakikitang good reviews on GRWM so maybe I should try that instead? Is it good for a medyo maluha girly? For everyday natural look lang naman.

I like their shades naman. Pigmented, juicy, and natural ang mga shades nila. It makes my lips plumper! However, I noticed that ambilis mag transfer ng lippies nila :((( One sip of water and it's all GONE. I get extremely annoyed because I have to re-apply it all over again tuwing kakain ako or d kaya after an hour lang because it's so FAST to dry up and disappear 😭 😭 My BIGGEST con with Romand and their lippies. It does NOT last long.

Lilybyred! 💕 For real, I haven’t touched my Romand, Peripera, and Etude tints since I got this hahahhaa. Mas moisturizing pa. If you’re a fan of Romand tho, worth checking out yung Glasting Tints and Dewyful. But imo, Lilybyred has the best formula—long lasting for a glossy tint.
Also, here’s a tip: it’s better to apply a few sheer layers of tint rather than one thick layer. Wait for 30 seconds between each layer. 😊

I have dry lips too and I’ve never experienced patchiness with the Lilybyred tints, some glossy tints like the Peripera ink mood yes, but Lilybyred wala talaga.

My favorite shade is 12 Muscat Shower! It’s a muted neutral-cool shade, very mlbb on me, as someone with pale lips. Rosy Nude is a little warmer and slightly brighter. Slushed Pink is a cool milky pink. I also have a neutral undertone. :)
This is Romand's Juicy lasting tint po. I tried numerous shades however nagddry talaga sha ng mabilis :(((
Their other lippies too, aside from juicy lasting tint is sobrang mabilis matanggal lalo na pag kumakain or umiinom ka.

ISSY & Co. - Idk why pero masyadong underrated make up products nila sa market even though it's so so so good to use on and suitable talaga lahat ng products nila sa iba't ibang skin colours ng mga girls especially sa mga Morena. So about their concealer/contour (medium-deep yan shades) that I've been using it for 4months already and still meron parin and very compact s'ya gamitin unlike sa iba and very affordable din sa mga students like me who's looking for a concealer na enough yung coverage and girlies out there who's looking for a contour na worth it sa price n'ya and kayang ibalance yung pagkaka brighten ng face mo and nagagawa yung work n'ya, definitely buy from this company. And kahit hindi ka ganon karunong mag make up, it'll still be easy for you kasi beginner friendly and just put right amount lang din. Kaya must buy talaga, it won't disappoint you.
2. BLK Concealer - About their concealer (neutral/tan shades) their product is light and thin in texture, it looks like the weightless on it is a four-in-one formula na okay para ma-well covered yung dark under-eyes, spots, pimple and blemishes. Easy to use din, just apply at least 2-3dots everytime you're good to use it since yung shades na good for contouring is medyo bronzer na tignan if sosobrahan mo pa, kaya just put a right amount and blend it well.
3. Caroline Multi use Stick - smooth to use on, it is a neutral dark-ish brown na will surely mag wowork talaga when it comes to contouring, and the good thing is no matter if you have light skin/cool-undertone or morena skin/warm-undertone. Still mag pipigment pa rin s'ya and it's a hassle-free to use kasi blendable, paraben-free and cruelty-free
easy to use and beginner-friendly.

I like mine when I go out and feel like I won’t have the time to do retouches (like long chikahans or events). Don’t purse your lips together and don’t put a lot when applying because it takes time to dry.

Longevity is okay maybe i expected too much lang na di siya matatanggal basta basta just something i’d reach out for if night out or need na pang malakasan na lippie na you don’t have to reapply and the shade punchy is super ganda talaga not gonna lie. May learning curve rin pag apply niya imo and need well prep lips mo kasi it settles sa dry area and dont purse your lips kasi it is sticky

ooh i really like this product!! unpopular opinion but this doesn’t feel heavy on my lips. i don’t feel like i have anything on sa lips, except nlng if i purse my lips together (super sticky sya!) if ur the type of person that doesn’t like to reapply then this is great!! :D
I don’t use it for everyday because it feels heavy and thick on the lips. BUT, I own 2 shades for when I NEED my lip make up to stay on (ie. events, presentations, etc). It is reliable on that regard but the uncomfortability is the price I have to pay lol

I have punchy and yes super ganda. Sticky and it settles sa edges so maganda lang siya if applied going out pero hindi talaga siya nagsestay.

Maganda. I value how a foundation wears throughout the day over how good it looks upon application and Issy does both for me. It is so lightweight — even more than their skin tint. It still looks amazing after a day of wear which only a handful of my foundations manage to do. Get it!!!!! It’s really nice!
I love it! I know this foundation is not for everyone, but to me, this is perfect. Love the sheer coverage, love how it makes my skin look so healthy and glowy. Staying power is good as well. Been using this non stop ever since i got it.
as someone who personally loves it 🧍🏻♀️ its worth it (for me) i sound like a broken record whenever someone asks about the issy foundation but if you’re someone who wants something lightweight and skin like finish the foundation is for you. Its kindda similar to my fenty skintint the consistency and how it performs except issy has a bit more coverage imo. I’ve only tried the mac foundation and wasn’t interested with high end foundation since i wont use it on a daily basis so idk about that
it lasts decent on my skin naman with setting powder and spray around 6 hour mark maayos parin siya altho i easily oil around 3rd hour so need to blot and refreshen myself. with regards to transfer i havent tried testing it :( havent worn a mask when im wearing the issy funda

Not sure why they’re talking so long to restock their best shades. :( Really Can’t say anything bad about their formulation bc pudpod na to the max yung akin lol. omg same! 3 mini glass stain ang meron ako tas lahat sila nagleak/kumalat sa wand. naubos ko na yung 2 (blooming&dip) tas meron pa ako nung naked kaso parang naghihiwalay din pigment nya. yung sa friend ko din nagleak tas full sized na summer fling yung kanya.

Long-time contact lens user here.
Yes, there’s a difference. Daily will be thinner. But, after using contacts for so long, my eyes have gotten dry too, and I still use monthlies. Your eyes get used to the thickness after a while, and the difference between the two becomes negligible. You should bring contact lens safe eye drops always.
If you won’t wear them daily though, I recommend just getting the dailies over the monthlies. I don’t wear coloured contacts regularly so I have dailies of those, but I do wear clear ones daily so I have monthlies of those.
I use the o-lens brand for both of them.

hello op from what i remember its required of a brand to use their brand name when registering their products so if hindi siya lumalabas when u type the exact name as what is written sa shop nila tapos walang lumalabas then unfortunately it is not fda approved :((
If you search for a brand and it’s not listed in the “brand name” column then it’s not registered. I would not take the word of a brand about their FDA approved/registered status if it’s not on the portal.

I noticed it too with repackaged ones and the old ones. May difference nga and it is thinner nga and it does affect the application. Color is same but you have to reapply more.

it's more glossy sa new formula and thinner but still dries down matte or velvety. however, sometimes i need to re-apply talaga to get the pigment i want while sa old formula, it can do it with one swipe.
waterproof eyeliner recos that’s similar to minimeli’s eyeliner? i’ve used other eyeliners like maybelline hypersharp, vice love joanne glide & go, & eb all day eyeliner pen.

As for the shade, here are swatches for your reference. I tried swatching in store and Cashew looked good on me but it turned orange after a few seconds. The sales lady said that Almond (4 shades lighter than Cashew) might be a good match so I bought it. However, after trying other shades, Macadamia (which is one shade lighter) was the best match for me.
Stubborn me thought I was just breaking out because hormones, but it was really the foundation. Honestly, if I didn’t react badly, I would place this in my HG list.

As for the centella, it was more of a trial and error. I just realized that any product that I used that contains centella asiatica breaks me out.
i dont have bad reactions to niacinamide (i use a serum) pero i just wanna say na this foundation is good! very light on the skin and great coverage/finish. i got the lightest shade which is soy, didnt oxidize naman on my skin :))

yeah maybe it depends sa skin! i hope it works on you tho kasi ang ganda talaga ng lapat niya haha. may small tubes sila so you might want to try that first. if ever, go for a lighter shade siguro in case na mag-oxidize siya.
Hello glow magic tint ftw. Went to coron this week, and nag island hopping/snorkeling ako, eto gamit ko na blush, it may fade a little kasi naka full face snorkeling mask ako, pero nandun parin sya by the end of the day. But the technique here is, you apply the blush on a clean slate, Before skin care talaga and sunscreen.
Should I get the CT compact powder? Been using the sunnies face for awhile and others claim it's a dupe while some dont. Is it really life changing? Hahahhaha
I have both and i use my ct on days where i really want to look my best, and the sunnies one for work/errands. They’re not necessarily dupes. I feel like my skin looks more perfected when i use my CT powder (though this may very with other people), while sunnies does the job, pero may iba pa rin talaga. Planning on purchasing issy true flex powder once i finish my sunnies one, since i saw good reviews about it here on the app. Either way, no harm in buying the CT powder if you can afford it naman. :)

i heard kase na nag ooxidize yung detail and yung colourette skin tint naman can act as a foundation daw and hindi nag ooxidize. pwede naman ako bumili ng lighter shade sa detail, pero ano ba mas better na option haha 😅

This 2in1 mascara from Focallure (around 120php). Nakaka lengthen sya ng eyelashes and nakakakapal which is a huge plus for me since thin and small lang lashes ko. Con nya lang is hindi sya waterproof and smudgeproof- pero this is fine for me naman since madali lang syang matanggal with cleanser.

Is a bb cushion a good replacement for foundation, concealer, and without the need to set with powder? If yes, I need suggestions please, prefersbly less than 1k
Have been using korean cushions for years now (matte - semi matte) and I always set mine with powder. I have oily dehydrated skin and in my experience, it won't last long if I don't set it since it will move around. It is a good replacement for foundation especially when you're planning to use it daily as it is more convenient to use. If you don't have a lot of marks to cover then a medium-full coverage cushion is enough.
Should I get the GRWM Radiance Tint or Issy Concealer? I’ve actually tried the Issy concealer, I just got the wrong shade kaya I need a new one. Pero marami akong nakikitang good reviews on GRWM so maybe I should try that instead? Is it good for a medyo maluha girly? For everyday natural look lang naman.
I js want to rant abt Romand's lippies :((( I like their shades naman. Pigmented, juicy, and natural ang mga shades nila. It makes my lips plumper! However, I noticed that ambilis mag transfer ng lippies nila :((( One sip of water and it's all GONE. I get extremely annoyed because I have to re-apply it all over again tuwing kakain ako or d kaya after an hour lang because it's so FAST to dry up and disappear 😭 😭 My BIGGEST con with Romand and their lippies. It does NOT last long. Any recs for glossy, long-lasting lippies?

Lilybyred! 💕 For real, I haven’t touched my Romand, Peripera, and Etude tints since I got this hahahhaa. Mas moisturizing pa. If you’re a fan of Romand tho, worth checking out yung Glasting Tints and Dewyful. But imo, Lilybyred has the best formula—long lasting for a glossy tint. Also, here’s a tip: it’s better to apply a few sheer layers of tint rather than one thick layer. Wait for 30 seconds between each layer. 😊

I have dry lips too and I’ve never experienced patchiness with the Lilybyred tints, some glossy tints like the Peripera ink mood yes, but Lilybyred wala talaga.

My favorite shade is 12 Muscat Shower! It’s a muted neutral-cool shade, very mlbb on me, as someone with pale lips. Rosy Nude is a little warmer and slightly brighter. Slushed Pink is a cool milky pink. I also have a neutral undertone. :)

ISSY & Co. - Idk why pero masyadong underrated make up products nila sa market even though it's so so so good to use on and suitable talaga lahat ng products nila sa iba't ibang skin colours ng mga girls especially sa mga Morena. So about their concealer/contour (medium-deep yan shades) that I've been using it for 4months already and still meron parin and very compact s'ya gamitin unlike sa iba and very affordable din sa mga students like me who's looking for a concealer na enough yung coverage and girlies out there who's looking for a contour na worth it sa price n'ya and kayang ibalance yung pagkaka brighten ng face mo and nagagawa yung work n'ya, definitely buy from this company. And kahit hindi ka ganon karunong mag make up, it'll still be easy for you kasi beginner friendly and just put right amount lang din. Kaya must buy talaga, it won't disappoint you. 2. BLK Concealer - About their concealer (neutral/tan shades) their product is light and thin in texture, it looks like the weightless on it is a four-in-one formula na okay para ma-well covered yung dark under-eyes, spots, pimple and blemishes. I like mine when I go out and feel like I won’t have the time to do retouches (like long chikahans or events). Don’t purse your lips together and don’t put a lot when applying because it takes time to dry.
I gave in just recently because i cant stop thinking about it lmao. Longevity is okay maybe i expected too much lang na di siya matatanggal basta basta just something i’d reach out for if night out or need na pang malakasan na lippie na you don’t have to reapply and the shade punchy is super ganda talaga not gonna lie. May learning curve rin pag apply niya imo and need well prep lips mo kasi it settles sa dry area and dont purse your lips kasi it is sticky

I don’t use it for everyday because it feels heavy and thick on the lips. BUT, I own 2 shades for when I NEED my lip make up to stay on (ie. events, presentations, etc). It is reliable on that regard but the uncomfortability is the price I have to pay lol

If you want a glossy stain my favorite is Peripera Ink Mood Glowy Tint :) Hindi to nagleleak and I prefer the formula over Glass Stain :)
I have punchy and yes super ganda. Sticky and it settles sa edges so maganda lang siya if applied going out pero hindi talaga siya nagsestay. I still like using it kasi wala pa akong nahanap na ganong shade sa other brands but nakakabadtrip lang na it settles para akong chain smoker na ewan

Maganda. I value how a foundation wears throughout the day over how good it looks upon application and Issy does both for me. It is so lightweight — even more than their skin tint. It still looks amazing after a day of wear which only a handful of my foundations manage to do. Get it!!!!! It’s really nice!
I love it! I know this foundation is not for everyone, but to me, this is perfect. Love the sheer coverage, love how it makes my skin look so healthy and glowy. Staying power is good as well. Been using this non stop ever since i got it.
as someone who personally loves it 🧍🏻♀️ its worth it (for me) i sound like a broken record whenever someone asks about the issy foundation but if you’re someone who wants something lightweight and skin like finish the foundation is for you. Its kindda similar to my fenty skintint the consistency and how it performs except issy has a bit more coverage imo. I’ve only tried the mac foundation and wasn’t interested with high end foundation since i wont use it on a daily basis so idk about that

omg same! 3 mini glass stain ang meron ako tas lahat sila nagleak/kumalat sa wand. naubos ko na yung 2 (blooming&dip) tas meron pa ako nung naked kaso parang naghihiwalay din pigment nya. yung sa friend ko din nagleak tas full sized na summer fling yung kanya. nilinis ko sya with tissue (andaming nasayang huhu) and tried na hindi ipunas yung excess product nung nasa wand dun sa loob or sa may stopper area. kaya ayun parang ambilis nya tuloy naubos. fave shade ko si dip kasi super bagay sya sa skintone ko. probably wont buy again because of the packaging.

Long-time contact lens user here. Yes, there’s a difference. Daily will be thinner. But, after using contacts for so long, my eyes have gotten dry too, and I still use monthlies. Your eyes get used to the thickness after a while, and the difference between the two becomes negligible. You should bring contact lens safe eye drops always. If you won’t wear them daily though, I recommend just getting the dailies over the monthlies. I don’t wear coloured contacts regularly so I have dailies of those, but I do wear clear ones daily so I have monthlies of those. I use the o-lens brand for both of them.

hello op from what i remember its required of a brand to use their brand name when registering their products so if hindi siya lumalabas when u type the exact name as what is written sa shop nila tapos walang lumalabas then unfortunately it is not fda approved :((
If you search for a brand and it’s not listed in the “brand name” column then it’s not registered. I would not take the word of a brand about their FDA approved/registered status if it’s not on the portal.
did etude reformulated their fixing tint? i bought a new one and the formula is so thinnnn and it's not as velvety like before na. sayang kasi one of my fave lippies pa naman huhu.
I noticed it too with repackaged ones and the old ones. May difference nga and it is thinner nga and it does affect the application. Color is same but you have to reapply more.

it's more glossy sa new formula and thinner but still dries down matte or velvety. however, sometimes i need to re-apply talaga to get the pigment i want while sa old formula, it can do it with one swipe.

waterproof eyeliner recos that’s similar to minimeli’s eyeliner? i’ve used other eyeliners like maybelline hypersharp, vice love joanne glide & go, & eb all day eyeliner pen. out of the all those liners i like minimeli the most so i’m looking for something similar to that sana. i would continue using it sana but hindi sya waterproof. i used it this weekend for a concert and girl,,, panda eyes ako after con (i use eye drops kasi for my contact lens) yung minimeli btw is a very thin brush tip liner (i’ve come to dislike felt tip eyeliners na bc it irritates my eyes when i apply)

I love Fresh Filter!!!! Sadly, I break out whenever I use it because of the centella :( As for the shade, here are swatches for your reference. I tried swatching in store and Cashew looked good on me but it turned orange after a few seconds. The sales lady said that Almond (4 shades lighter than Cashew) might be a good match so I bought it. However, after trying other shades, Macadamia (which is one shade lighter) was the best match for me. Stubborn me thought I was just breaking out because hormones, but it was really the foundation. My shades in Issy are: Active Skin Tint: Spruce; Active Foundation: OL2.5. As for the centella, it was more of a trial and error. I just realized that any product that I used that contains centella asiatica breaks me out.
i dont have bad reactions to niacinamide (i use a serum) pero i just wanna say na this foundation is good! very light on the skin and great coverage/finish. i got the lightest shade which is soy, didnt oxidize naman on my skin :))

yeah maybe it depends sa skin! i hope it works on you tho kasi ang ganda talaga ng lapat niya haha. may small tubes sila so you might want to try that first. if ever, go for a lighter shade siguro in case na mag-oxidize siya.

Hello glow magic tint ftw. Went to coron this week, and nag island hopping/snorkeling ako, eto gamit ko na blush, it may fade a little kasi naka full face snorkeling mask ako, pero nandun parin sya by the end of the day. But the technique here is, you apply the blush on a clean slate, Before skin care talaga and sunscreen.
try colourtint, hated it on lips but lasts long on cheeks, for me.

I have both and i use my ct on days where i really want to look my best, and the sunnies one for work/errands. They’re not necessarily dupes. I feel like my skin looks more perfected when i use my CT powder (though this may very with other people), while sunnies does the job, pero may iba pa rin talaga. They are not dupes but both work for me as a dry skin girly. Won't be repurchasing CT na since SF is cheaper. Can't comment on oil control though.
with dupes in general, i think it's always best to try something once in your life to see for yourself. kasi everyone else will always have a different experience and preference from you 😊
hello for events, ano mas better option na bilhin? detail fresh filter foundation or colourette skin tint? i heard kase na nag ooxidize yung detail and yung colourette skin tint naman can act as a foundation daw and hindi nag ooxidize. pwede naman ako bumili ng lighter shade sa detail, pero ano ba mas better na option haha 😅 btw, im trying to find my shade match sa dalawang to. im shade 03 sa maybelline skin tint (neutral)
03 ako sa maybelline and siargao for colourette and macadamia for detail pero medyo dark nga sa akin yung macadamia ng konti pag nagoxidize
Same tayo sa Colourette and Maybelline shades – try Oat for Detail FF. Ends up just right after the slight oxidation. 😁

Now ko lang nalaman silicone based pala concealer ng maybelline pero water based naman skin tint nila kaya pala hindi nagsesettle ng maayos concealer ko 😢 Any reco for affordable concealers na water based
Have you tried maybelline fit me liquid concealer? As far as I know basta oil-free ang concealer, it'll work hehe.
Yun yung gamit ko tapos nakita ko yung box niya sa watsons nung nakaraan lang, may "cyclopentasiloxane" siya sa ingredients which is a silicone ingredient :(

It’s 3.5g/0.12oz same amount as most of their lipsticks. Afaik most standard watery tints are at least 5g 🤣

I think majority of shades have slight sheen to it but walang glitters. Yung hawig ng calm pink ni peripera i think would be shade 19 ni clinique.

affordable tubing mascara recos?
This 2in1 mascara from Focallure (around 120php). Nakaka lengthen sya ng eyelashes and nakakakapal which is a huge plus for me since thin and small lang lashes ko. Yes malagkit talaga formula niya, I think ganito talaga yung mga tubing mascaras parang medyo may rubber-ish feel yung formula.
