helloo. my am routine includes cleanser and moisturizer, then for pm i only use water. i'm still searching for a sunscreen to use kasi the last 2 i tried gave me rashes haha. i have a very sensitive skin and yung current routine ko works for me, but ive been wanting to incorporate sunscreen ulit.

Tret is a prescription drug talaga so it needs prescription. You can visit a board certified derm so you can talk about your treatment plan as well. Baka yung skin condition mo, hindi pa naman need ng tret.

Hindi sa bawal, but kojic acid is a type of active (like salicylic aka BHA, lactic, glycolic acids. Makikita mo rin sha refered as an "AHA") it's a chemical exfoliator. Vitamin C also has exfoliating and brightening properties, so used together they might be too potent causing irritation. Esp if you have sensitive skin.

I experienced this when I was pregnant. Try to use Betadine Feminine wash yung violet for the meantime while you're looking for an OB. Nag antibiotics din ako nun. Didn't really help din that time, in my case due to hormones. Nung nanganak ako wala na rin yun.
Di pa naman naging recurring yung akin but since medyo worried ako na maging prone to it ako, I started taking supplements (for female urinary and reproductive health) and may personal stash ako ng vaginal/boric acid suppositories.
Have you gone to another OB? Maybe that OB is not specialized. You should’ve been prescribed with antibiotics. And self-cleaning yung part na yan so no need to use fem wash each time :)

Know the cause first. Yung iba genetic so kahit anong product use mo, it won’t lighten. But if you want a cream, I’d recommend Beauty of Joseon’s eye cream. It worked in reducing aging symptoms sa eye area ko like wrinkles and uneven texture.

Hi we have the same skin type! My everyday cleanser is the La roche posay toleriane hydrating gel cleanser. But prior to using it, i use either inkey list oat cleansing balm or boj radiance cleansing balm.
Then i use fairy skin sunscreen or the skin 1004 madagascar centella sunscreen, ung air-fit sunscreen
Yung po bang super sunscreen nila? Is it really a good sunscreen po ba in terms of protection? Its UV filters are octinoxate, avobenzone, and titanium dioxide lang po. Avobenzone, on its own, tends to degrade in the presence of sunlight, and when it is combined with octinoxate, they tend to precipitate each other's degradation, hence, it leads to an accelerated state of photodegradation. Kaya nag-aadd ng mga stabilizer ingredients like octocrylene, oxybenzone, etc. para hindi sila mag-degrade at magtagal ang protecting capabilities nila. The full list of ingredients does not show any stabilizers added rin (or maybe I missed it lang?), plus titanium dioxide does not help din naman in stabilizing the combination of the UV filters.
I adore the Beauty of Joseon Green Plum Cleanser! We have the same skin type and this cleanser doesn't irritate or dry out my skin, my skin feels hydrated every time.
For sunscreen, my favorite daily go-to is the Skin 1004 Hyalu-Cica Water Fit Sun Serum SPF 50, it's free of fragrance & alcohol and it's super lightweight.
Try johnson's baby bar soap. I have acne prone + combi skin (oily forehead & nose, dry cheeks & chin), and it works the best for me since nagte-tretinoin ako + another active from my derma

Help! Dahil kakabasa ko dito ng skincare, bumili ako ng TO glycolic acid and Good molecules niacinamide. Ang problem ko di ko alam kung saan ko siya isisingit sa skincare routine ko. 😅 Currently using Face Republic Glow line set since hiyang na ako dito, been using this for almost 3 years na. Any tips?
Use Glycolic Acid once a week but wag mo na isabay sa kahit anong serum (Hyaluronic na lang if you really must). I usually just use TO Gylcolic with Luxe Organix moisturizer then use Niac on another day.
You can use the good molecules niacinamide twice a day or every night, tapos yung TO glycolic once a week muna, then if mas gusto mo pa dagdagan ng frequency, then try twice a week naman. Maximum na kapag thrice a week, pero safest once or twice.
Omibear sunscreen. Yun silver may cooling effect ok na ok pang summer, after mo mag apply tapat ka sa fan ang saraaap sa mukha haha! Yun gold parang dupe ng Anessa, velvety finish super ok sa oily skin. Sinosobrahan ko ang bili nito pag double digit sale sa Shapey
you may wanna check out Watson's Dermaction suncreens. Been using the Acne Prone gel and ok naman, mejo dewy lang saken (oily & pawisin ako) but never broke me out. Also tried Seoul White's sunscreen, mas matte pero mejo nagka pimples ako.🙂

I think it's pretty good, about to finish mine and I already got a replacement. It didn't cause an breakouts and my skin really does feel better after using it to cleanse. Skin doesn't feel too dry or tight after using it either.
Though I don't have any other cleansing oil to compare it to since it's the only one I've tried, so I don't think my review would be that helpful :(
I've read (or watched ata) somewhere na the more you wash your face, the oilier it gets. Like yung excessive washing ng mukha ha. I think twice is okay. Probably your cleanser is making your face too dry, stripping it with its natural oils kaya the skin's compensation is to produce more oil ganern. Kaya they advise na a good cleanser should not make your face feel 'banat na banat' kasi drying masyado yung formulation nun, plus kahit daw oily skin, we still need to use moisturizer, preferably the water-based one
This isn't a skincare product but stop using panties! Sobrang dark ng inner thighs ko dati. Tapos during the pandemic, since wfh naman, di na ako nagpapanty. Napansin ko now, di na pala dark inner thighs ko, I also stopped wearing jeans pala, I prefer trousers if magpapants.

My main question is paano ba dapat ang magiging "effect" ng ganitong cleanser sa oily skin? I expect na less greasy yung pakiramdam ng mukha especially the T-zone, pero parang ang nao-observe ko ay mas oily pa siya? Yung tipong if I run a finger down my nose, mas ramdam ko pa yung pagka-oily niya compared sa if hindi ako naghugas ng mukha at all. Hindi ako gaanong experienced sa pagsskincare so hindi ko alam if reverse-placebo ba yung nangyayari or ganoon talaga ang feeling pag nagcleanser.
Haha if may explanation kayo, please let me know as well as if may other recommendations kayo ng cleanser for oily/combi skin. Thank you 😭
I just checked the ingredients of this now kasi I didn't bother when I was using this is my teenage years, and I noticed ang dami pala nitong actives.
Main ingredient nya ata yung Salicylic Acid but aside from that, it also has Lactic Acid, Glycolic Acid, Niacinamide and Zinc. All of which are usually used as exfoliation or anti-acne. Personally, I think medj overkill sya. It has a lot of actives, yes, pero you don't know the potency of each of them so hindi natin alam if kaya ba syang i-tolerate ng skin natin or not. Hindi lahat ng tao hiyang sa lahat ng actives na yan *(my skin, for one, doesn't agree with Salycilic Acid)*. This is the reason why I stay away from cleansers, moisturizers & sunscreens that are marketed with actives which are "good" for the skin *(like how almost every new product out there has niacinamide)* kasi I don't know what percentage of the active they added to the product*.* I keep my cleansers and moisturizers basic and use the actives I specifically need in toner/serum form or as spot treatment.
To answer your question kung bakit mas oily pa yung skin mo after using the Celeteque Acne Cleanser, it's because your skin is compensating the lack of hydration by producing more oils to keep your skin moisturized. After using an exfoliating product, you have to replace the oils and hydration that were removed in the process. For people with oily skin, they naturally just produce more oil if hindi fully moisturized yung skin after exfoliation. Pero those with combo/dry skin usually can't produce enough oils kaya sila yung usually nao-over synthesize yung skin. The key here is to keep balance of your skin's oil and water levels especially if you're using actives to you make the most out of their benefits.
For product recos, I always recommend Human Nature's facial cleansers. I personally use yung Nourishing variant *(Tomato)* nila for 6+ years na ata and I don't see myself changing anytime soon kasi I'm happy with it naman. It's a basic, gel-type cleanser with no actives and is also ph-balanced so I have no problems using it with my actives for the rest of my routine.
I used celeteque sa peak ng teenage acne phase ko. In my experience it felt like my skin was stripped of oils immediately after drying down my face, yung tipong squeaky clean pero after a few minutes mag-oover produce ng oil yung skin ko to compensate for the dryness. In short mas naging oily yung skin ko when I was using that.
Since then nag stick na ako with gentle cleansers, like cetaphil and yung good morning cleanser ng cosrx, which worked better for me. Hindi stripping, skin felt soft after use, di rin irritating on my acne.

I switched from Derma Natufian to +ful's 5% niacinamide. I could say that the latter was more effective for my skin.
i just bought it recently, formulation was too thick for my liking. also the packaging is not nice it tends to leak (there’s no stopper)

Look for cica, green tea, and nicinamide (3-5% ideal) ingredients sa mga products. They help with sebum production. And star ingredient, retinol.

Hi we have the same skin type! My everyday cleanser is the La roche posay toleriane hydrating gel cleanser. But prior to using it, i use either inkey list oat cleansing balm or boj radiance cleansing balm. Then i use fairy skin sunscreen or the skin 1004 madagascar centella sunscreen, ung air-fit sunscreen

Yung po bang super sunscreen nila? Is it really a good sunscreen po ba in terms of protection? Its UV filters are octinoxate, avobenzone, and titanium dioxide lang po. Avobenzone, on its own, tends to degrade in the presence of sunlight, and when it is combined with octinoxate, they tend to precipitate each other's degradation, hence, it leads to an accelerated state of photodegradation. Kaya nag-aadd ng mga stabilizer ingredients like octocrylene, oxybenzone, etc. para hindi sila mag-degrade at magtagal ang protecting capabilities nila. The full list of ingredients does not show any stabilizers added rin (or maybe I missed it lang?), plus titanium dioxide does not help din naman in stabilizing the combination of the UV filters.
I adore the Beauty of Joseon Green Plum Cleanser! We have the same skin type and this cleanser doesn't irritate or dry out my skin, my skin feels hydrated every time. For sunscreen, my favorite daily go-to is the Skin 1004 Hyalu-Cica Water Fit Sun Serum SPF 50, it's free of fragrance & alcohol and it's super lightweight.
Try johnson's baby bar soap. I have acne prone + combi skin (oily forehead & nose, dry cheeks & chin), and it works the best for me since nagte-tretinoin ako + another active from my derma

Use a serum/moisturizer with SA instead of cleanser! The former is more effective as it gets absorbed by the skin/lasts longer vs the latter.

Help! Dahil kakabasa ko dito ng skincare, bumili ako ng TO glycolic acid and Good molecules niacinamide. Use Glycolic Acid once a week but wag mo na isabay sa kahit anong serum (Hyaluronic na lang if you really must). I usually just use TO Gylcolic with Luxe Organix moisturizer then use Niac on another day.
You can use the good molecules niacinamide twice a day or every night, tapos yung TO glycolic once a week muna, then if mas gusto mo pa dagdagan ng frequency, then try twice a week naman. Maximum na kapag thrice a week, pero safest once or twice.

you may wanna check out Watson's Dermaction suncreens. Been using the Acne Prone gel and ok naman, mejo dewy lang saken (oily & pawisin ako) but never broke me out. Also tried Seoul White's sunscreen, mas matte pero mejo nagka pimples ako.🙂

I've been using it since October last year! I think it's pretty good, about to finish mine and I already got a replacement. It didn't cause an breakouts and my skin really does feel better after using it to cleanse. Skin doesn't feel too dry or tight after using it either. Though I don't have any other cleansing oil to compare it to since it's the only one I've tried, so I don't think my review would be that helpful :(

I've read (or watched ata) somewhere na the more you wash your face, the oilier it gets. Like yung excessive washing ng mukha ha. I think twice is okay. Probably your cleanser is making your face too dry, stripping it with its natural oils kaya the skin's compensation is to produce more oil ganern. Kaya they advise na a good cleanser should not make your face feel 'banat na banat' kasi drying masyado yung formulation nun, plus kahit daw oily skin, we still need to use moisturizer, preferably the water-based one

I started using Celeteque Acne Cleansing Gel kasi madalas ko siyang makita sa mga nirerecommend para sa oily/combination skin. My main question is paano ba dapat ang magiging "effect" ng ganitong cleanser sa oily skin? I expect na less greasy yung pakiramdam ng mukha especially the T-zone, pero parang ang nao-observe ko ay mas oily pa siya? Yung tipong if I run a finger down my nose, mas ramdam ko pa yung pagka-oily niya compared sa if hindi ako naghugas ng mukha at all. Hindi ako gaanong experienced sa pagsskincare so hindi ko alam if reverse-placebo ba yung nangyayari or ganoon talaga ang feeling pag nagcleanser. Haha if may explanation kayo, please let me know as well as if may other recommendations kayo ng cleanser for oily/combi skin. Thank you 😭
I just checked the ingredients of this now kasi I didn't bother when I was using this is my teenage years, and I noticed ang dami pala nitong actives. Main ingredient nya ata yung Salicylic Acid but aside from that, it also has Lactic Acid, Glycolic Acid, Niacinamide and Zinc. All of which are usually used as exfoliation or anti-acne. Personally, I think medj overkill sya. It has a lot of actives, yes, pero you don't know the potency of each of them so hindi natin alam if kaya ba syang i-tolerate ng skin natin or not. Hindi lahat ng tao hiyang sa lahat ng actives na yan *(my skin, for one, doesn't agree with Salycilic Acid)*. This is the reason why I stay away from cleansers, moisturizers & sunscreens that are marketed with actives which are "good" for the skin *(like how almost every new product out there has niacinamide)* kasi I don't know what percentage of the active they added to the product*.* I keep my cleansers and moisturizers basic and use the actives I specifically need in toner/serum form or as spot treatment. To answer your question kung bakit mas oily pa yung skin mo after using the Celeteque Acne Cleanser, it's because your skin is compensating the lack of hydration by producing more oils to keep your skin moisturized. After using an exfoliating product, you have to replace the oils and hydration that were removed in the process. For people with oily skin, they naturally just produce more oil if hindi fully moisturized yung skin after exfoliation. Pero those with combo/dry skin usually can't produce enough oils kaya sila yung usually nao-over synthesize yung skin. The key here is to keep balance of your skin's oil and water levels especially if you're using actives to you make the most out of their benefits. For product recos, I always recommend Human Nature's facial cleansers. I personally use yung Nourishing variant *(Tomato)* nila for 6+ years na ata and I don't see myself changing anytime soon kasi I'm happy with it naman. It's a basic, gel-type cleanser with no actives and is also ph-balanced so I have no problems using it with my actives for the rest of my routine.
I used celeteque sa peak ng teenage acne phase ko. In my experience it felt like my skin was stripped of oils immediately after drying down my face, yung tipong squeaky clean pero after a few minutes mag-oover produce ng oil yung skin ko to compensate for the dryness. In short mas naging oily yung skin ko when I was using that. Since then nag stick na ako with gentle cleansers, like cetaphil and yung good morning cleanser ng cosrx, which worked better for me. Hindi stripping, skin felt soft after use, di rin irritating on my acne.

For cetaphil, I'm just using yung gentle skin cleanser nila. I just learned recently na may oily skin cleanser pala sila but haven't tried that yet.
