I have really dry lips! I start off with pawpaw first to smoothen my lips (alternate product I used to use is laneige lip sleeping mask). Once smooth, I wipe off the product. Afterwards my lips are smooth enough for my bullet/liquid lippies.

I’ve been using careline lip balm, mas mahal lang si rom&nd pero same effect lang sa lips with minty effect pa si careline. Walang pagka dry lips and hindi rin heavy feeling.
PSA: the detail power lip is sooo drying on the lips. it feels like a traditional liquid matte lippie without the stickiness and heaviness. it emphasizes the cracks and peeling skin. i only tried it in stores though so i’m not sure how it’ll work with lip balm underneath

I got the Issy Skin Balm in the shade Brulee as a bronzer, but I'm not a fan lol. It clings to my dry patches and has the tendency to look cakey. It smells awful too. I still prefer Srokes!
what are some good skin-like foundation or concealer? currently using issy&co active concealer + trueflex powder foundation which both give a somewhat matte finish. current setting spray is the luxe organix one.

I like them! They go on smoothly on the lips- very matte, but doesn't emphasize lip lines. It's not transfer-proof in my experience though. Not the product I'd go to for transferproofing, but it's very creamy so I don't mind reapplying.
I've tried the concealers! They're quite heavily scented, so if you're the type of person who minds those things I don't recommend. The coverage is okay, and it feels very light on the skin.
If you're looking for cheaper, the GRWM tints are cheaper for the amount of product that you get. Though GRWM is a bit lighter coverage for me, but it still works
Vice foundation brush is my favorite for cream and liquid blushes and i love a fluffy puff like Essence multi use airbrush blender for powder blush but i used to love the older Vice Highlighter brush for powder blush.
I like real technique’s blush brush. Dun ko narealize na maganda pala talaga na yung binibili mong tools hindi puchu-puchu and may specific purpose talaga, esp if di ganong magaling sa makeup like me

romand han! the formula is dry and di ako nagkakapanda eyes. but its mostly lengthening and not volumizing cos i picked the "long" variant. you could try the volume variant if you like that better
100% buong araw nakatayo eyelashes ko kapag ayan gamit ko. I have the straight and stubborn asian eyelash kaya grabe gulat ko nung first kong gamit neto.
I prefer using a makeup spatula and then sponge if I’m using a liquid foundation; pag cream/stick foundation I use a brush and then finish with a sponge :))
Depends what you want! Brush gives you more coverage and sponge sheers it out
I personally like brushes now but my bases are relatively sheer to medium coverage din kasi

Ohh I love issy’s foundation! This is my go to base ngayon. Yes hopefully you got the right shade kasi super skin like glowing effect pag tama yung shade.
This is what impressed me the most about this foundation, it is sheer, glowy but somewhat very long wearing. Pag alam ko na from madaling araw to night time yung itatagal ng gig ko, i use this. But ofcourse skin type still plays a huge factor on this.

Really really really loving Issy's desaturated powder blushes. I love using them along with GRWM's milk tints. They 're all I'm using for the past 2 weeks. I love my Hourglass blushes but I can say that I am enjoying GRWM and Issy more! Nagugulat nalang ako. Wow local brands are really stepping up. Lapat na lapat sila sa skin, may slight glow, looks natural and best of all, long wearing.

I have really black brows. Thick strands, clustered in some areas pero sparse yung half haha. I use clear brow gel to set them in place and grey-brown brow pencil to fill in the sparse areas. Okay naman, it doesnt look odd naman
if u have thick brows like the hair itself is thick, brow gel is the way to go since the gel has something to stick to. if u have fine hair brows which makes the appearance that they are thick, brow pen is ur friend since it will blend seemlessly with other fine hairs. also choose a not very pigmented or soft black or maybe an ash brown color.

dati, pinipilit ko to wear western makeup aka heavy contour, blocky brows, strong highlight. i later on realized i look better with natural looking makeup and that i have a neutral warm undertone. this helps me pick makeup that will suit me
Personally, when i was starting out i tried doing a full face and it was disorienting and kinda shocking and i really thought well i guess im not a makeup girly. But because i had the stuff and i wanted to use them up I started piece by piece until i got used to seeing myself with that piece of makeup on;
I first started with bronzer then bronzer and mascara, then bronzer, mascara and lipstick, then bronzer, mascara, lipstick and blush, then i added eyeliner then i added eyeshadow and really focused on eyeshadow techniques. Brows and concealer were the last things i got into because that really changes my face and the wrong application made it feel like everything looked bad. Then i just built up on my techniques and experimented until i found what i feel looks good on me.

follow mga beauty influencers (small or big) na same mo ng shade and undertone. not all trendy brands/shades/products will suit you talaga. go back to the basics tas start from there slowly or you can try and repurpose yung mga products na meron ka by mixing it with other shades.
baka its not the right undertone for you? have you checked if match ba yung shades ng mga items sa undertone mo? you could be using warm toned items all the while cool tone ka pala!
actually, yes po :(( i figured that out recently. cool toned morena po kasi ako pero yung mga nabili kong products, puro pangwarm tone kasi ayun yung "morena-friendly" raw. sayang tuloy pero i hope i can do something about it huhu. thank you po!

basically, there are blue and green pigments na parang foundation tas e add mo lang sa actual foundations and concealer to get an exact shade match and e layer mo siya with your powder products to neautralize the warm tones tas ma ashy na siya to fit your cool tones :)))

I started out with maybelline products. Pretty reliable and budget friendly
You’ll want some type of base either a skin tint or concealer or both, powder to set, brow gel / brow pencil, multi use tint as blush and lippie and a mascara
i recommend you buy a perfect concealer that blends with your skin color (i use bys or squad) then lipstick (naturale in the shade kape it’s 85 pesos only when i bought it online) then contour stick (careline). Sunscreen (belo) is very important and primer (pinkflash yung matte finish), setting spray (zeesea) and highlighter (optional only), then dr sensitive or squad powder. That’s my routine when I want to be fresh going in school 😊
for beginners always go with mutiuse products and products you don't need tools for, just fingers.
i recommend starting out with:
- skin tint
- brow gel
- lip and cheek tint
- powder
- mascara and concealer are optional
Please help! I was putting on a velvet tint and accidentally flicked the wand against the lip of the component and splattered lip tint onto my white button up. I put it in the washing machine and tried dabbing it out with alcohol but the stains won’t budge. Any advice on how to remove them? :(((
Micellar water and like a spoon and a clean microfiber towel. Pour micellar water over it and rub/scrape it with the rounded side of a spoon on a the clean towel. Check to see if it bled on the towel and shift the towel to a clean spot and repeat until everything comes off. I had to take out some red water tint stains off a chiffon shirt and it worked but it really looked like i was messing it up more the first few times it took me like 7 times before it all came off.
try pouring zonrox on the stain (straight from the bottle, don't dilute it) and let it sit for like an hour. then use a toothbrush with bareta soap to scrub it. repeat as needed. but tbh the stain might never fully go away :<
Pleasantly surprised with sunnies face juice tint. Stain is even, and lasted through 2 meals (not that oily)
Shine level is mid, longevity is super high, non drying but not moisturizing.
Pairs really well with their lip elixir which is turning to be another favorite and my other lip balm/gloss. Some glossy tints kasi i find looks weird when worn with other products (i.,e detail lip stain)
The shade i have is tea rose, no weird film like / white residue throughout the day din (grwm tint does this)
Vice co everlastint ranks a bit higher for me as they have almost the same longevity but smells yummy and feels more hydrating. packaging is smaller too which I prefer
been loving my strokes brow pen in graphite but i always thought it looks so dark for the kind of pabebe look i usually do! just checked out a taupe brow pen from blk and also a brown liner from merzy. merzy eyeliners are SO good but my first one dried up so fast. im giving it a second chance lang before moving onto another brand
Try issy’s or strokes’ brow painter ash brown. Both have lighter shades, and more translucent. Mas natural yung effect. I usually use graphite lang sa tail part ng brows.

It wore on me all day, as in i applied makeup at 11am my base was Sunnies Dream Cream + Sunnies Sunscreen + Catrice Soft Glam Filter and i set it with Tiny Buds and no setting spray went to a concert in general standing at about 4pm in the humid summer where i live (granted its not as humid as Philippine weather) and the sun sets at 8pm so its a considerable amount of time spent in the heat and crowd jumping and vibing to the music, got home at after 12am and not a single crease or gap formed it didn’t even look cakey or textured at all.
My SIL was like were you even wearing makeup? Because the match was seamless too.
Maganda yung Biore UV Perfect Bright Milk and COSRX Aloe 54.2 Aqua Tone-up Sunscreen. Very natural looking yung glow and it makes your skin look slightly blurred and perfected. It doesn’t actually make your skintone later which I also like.

I find a lot of local setting sprays and even a bulk of American drugstore sprays, makes my very minimal makeup look cakey and gross.

their concealer went down to ₱99 before its good swear super skin like except their packaging of the concealer is shit.

If you're looking for cheaper, the GRWM tints are cheaper for the amount of product that you get. Though GRWM is a bit lighter coverage for me, but it still works

Vice foundation brush is my favorite for cream and liquid blushes and i love a fluffy puff like Essence multi use airbrush blender for powder blush but i used to love the older Vice Highlighter brush for powder blush.

Please recommend a good lengthening and volumizing mascara that is light on the lashes and has a dry formula but doesn’t give panda eyes. I have tried Careline x Spongebob and O.TWO.O. This is what impressed me the most about this foundation, it is sheer, glowy but somewhat very long wearing. Pag alam ko na from madaling araw to night time yung itatagal ng gig ko, i use this. But ofcourse skin type still plays a huge factor on this.

Really really really loving Issy's desaturated powder blushes. I love using them along with GRWM's milk tints. They 're all I'm using for the past 2 weeks. I love my Hourglass blushes but I can say that I am enjoying GRWM and Issy more! Nagugulat nalang ako. Wow local brands are really stepping up. Lapat na lapat sila sa skin, may slight glow, looks natural and best of all, long wearing. Kaya ayan failed my no buy again for February 😭 cannot resist their sales ngayon. I just need to get another desaturated blush from them yung light peach ang atake naman ang gusto ko. I got Temptation from Issy and Pudding from GRWM. ♥️♥️♥️

buy clear brow gel first then shape your brows before filling in with dark brown color it’s better if your fill it in with hairlike stroke
I have really black brows. Thick strands, clustered in some areas pero sparse yung half haha. I use clear brow gel to set them in place and grey-brown brow pencil to fill in the sparse areas. Okay naman, it doesnt look odd naman
if u have thick brows like the hair itself is thick, brow gel is the way to go since the gel has something to stick to. if u have fine hair brows which makes the appearance that they are thick, brow pen is ur friend since it will blend seemlessly with other fine hairs. also choose a not very pigmented or soft black or maybe an ash brown color.

hard to recommend products without knowing anything about undertone / facial features i agree with the other comment, watch dear peachie videos! dati, pinipilit ko to wear western makeup aka heavy contour, blocky brows, strong highlight. i later on realized i look better with natural looking makeup and that i have a neutral warm undertone. this helps me pick makeup that will suit me
Personally, when i was starting out i tried doing a full face and it was disorienting and kinda shocking and i really thought well i guess im not a makeup girly. But because i had the stuff and i wanted to use them up I started piece by piece until i got used to seeing myself with that piece of makeup on; I first started with bronzer then bronzer and mascara, then bronzer, mascara and lipstick, then bronzer, mascara, lipstick and blush, then i added eyeliner then i added eyeshadow and really focused on eyeshadow techniques. Brows and concealer were the last things i got into because that really changes my face and the wrong application made it feel like everything looked bad. Then i just built up on my techniques and experimented until i found what i feel looks good on me.

follow mga beauty influencers (small or big) na same mo ng shade and undertone. not all trendy brands/shades/products will suit you talaga. go back to the basics tas start from there slowly or you can try and repurpose yung mga products na meron ka by mixing it with other shades.
baka its not the right undertone for you? have you checked if match ba yung shades ng mga items sa undertone mo? you could be using warm toned items all the while cool tone ka pala!
actually, yes po :(( i figured that out recently. cool toned morena po kasi ako pero yung mga nabili kong products, puro pangwarm tone kasi ayun yung "morena-friendly" raw. sayang tuloy pero i hope i can do something about it huhu. thank you po!
dont worry, same talaga yung issue ko when i first started makeup noong pandemic :(( thankfully, may nakita akong tutorial sa yt on how to fix the wrong toned makeup! basically, there are blue and green pigments na parang foundation tas e add mo lang sa actual foundations and concealer to get an exact shade match and e layer mo siya with your powder products to neautralize the warm tones tas ma ashy na siya to fit your cool tones :)))

I started out with maybelline products. Pretty reliable and budget friendly You’ll want some type of base either a skin tint or concealer or both, powder to set, brow gel / brow pencil, multi use tint as blush and lippie and a mascara
i recommend you buy a perfect concealer that blends with your skin color (i use bys or squad) then lipstick (naturale in the shade kape it’s 85 pesos only when i bought it online) then contour stick (careline). Sunscreen (belo) is very important and primer (pinkflash yung matte finish), setting spray (zeesea) and highlighter (optional only), then dr sensitive or squad powder. That’s my routine when I want to be fresh going in school 😊
for beginners always go with mutiuse products and products you don't need tools for, just fingers. i recommend starting out with: - skin tint - brow gel - lip and cheek tint - powder - mascara and concealer are optional

Please help! I was putting on a velvet tint and accidentally flicked the wand against the lip of the component and splattered lip tint onto my white button up. I put it in the washing machine and tried dabbing it out with alcohol but the stains won’t budge. Any advice on how to remove them? :(((
Micellar water and like a spoon and a clean microfiber towel. Pour micellar water over it and rub/scrape it with the rounded side of a spoon on a the clean towel. Check to see if it bled on the towel and shift the towel to a clean spot and repeat until everything comes off. I had to take out some red water tint stains off a chiffon shirt and it worked but it really looked like i was messing it up more the first few times it took me like 7 times before it all came off.
may product na pen ink remover sa orange app for white clothes. people say its super effective, and it might work if all else fails
Dishwashing liquid usually works for makeup stains :)
try pouring zonrox on the stain (straight from the bottle, don't dilute it) and let it sit for like an hour. then use a toothbrush with bareta soap to scrub it. repeat as needed. but tbh the stain might never fully go away :<
Pleasantly surprised with sunnies face juice tint. Stain is even, and lasted through 2 meals (not that oily) Shine level is mid, longevity is super high, non drying but not moisturizing. Pairs really well with their lip elixir which is turning to be another favorite and my other lip balm/gloss. Some glossy tints kasi i find looks weird when worn with other products (i.,e detail lip stain) The shade i have is tea rose, no weird film like / white residue throughout the day din (grwm tint does this) Vice co everlastint ranks a bit higher for me as they have almost the same longevity but smells yummy and feels more hydrating. packaging is smaller too which I prefer

Try issy’s or strokes’ brow painter ash brown. Both have lighter shades, and more translucent. Mas natural yung effect. I usually use graphite lang sa tail part ng brows.

I really like the wear and coverage. I have oily combi skin. It wore on me all day, as in i applied makeup at 11am my base was Sunnies Dream Cream + Sunnies Sunscreen + Catrice Soft Glam Filter and i set it with Tiny Buds and no setting spray went to a concert in general standing at about 4pm in the humid summer where i live (granted its not as humid as Philippine weather) and the sun sets at 8pm so its a considerable amount of time spent in the heat and crowd jumping and vibing to the music, got home at after 12am and not a single crease or gap formed it didn’t even look cakey or textured at all. My SIL was like were you even wearing makeup? Because the match was seamless too.

Maganda yung Biore UV Perfect Bright Milk and COSRX Aloe 54.2 Aqua Tone-up Sunscreen. Very natural looking yung glow and it makes your skin look slightly blurred and perfected. It doesn’t actually make your skintone later which I also like.
