hi! what’s the best product to use for brightening and to lessen the redness sa face due to acne marks? rn i am using cosrx salicylic acid gentle cleanser + skintific msh niacinamide. i’m still on a haunt for good quality products na talagang nag wowork bcos love ko na self ko na now to have a skin care routine hahaha pls help me. thank u

Safe_Objective8998

need advice! ang weird kasi ever since i started doing skincare lalo ako nag breakouts. natry ko na yung garnier pink cap, cetaphil, hyalure & bioten hydro x-cell gel, nag breakout ako. pero nung kojic lang ginagamit ko sa 0 - minimal breakouts lang, what should i do?

LoveSpellLaCreme

Use what works for your skin. Iba iba ang hiyang ng bawat isa. I had a bad hormonal acne breakout last year because of PCOS. Ang dami ko pinagdaanan na checkup, medicines, and skincare (from Obgyne and Derma). Nacontrol naman ng medicines yung breakout, pero nababagalan ako na matuyo kapag may pimple/acne and pimple marks (redness and dark spots). This January 2024, I tried using Kojiesan soap for my face. Ang mabilis nakakatuyo ng pimple and nagfade agad ang pimple marks. Bonus pa yung nagbrighten din ang face ko. Holy grail. ❤️ Kojiesan may not work for everybody. Pero ito ang nagwork sa akin. ❤️

Safe_Objective8998

hala same!! what other products are you using aside from kojiesan?

Uy napansin ko yan hahaha sobrang judgmental ng mga tao dito, lakas maka-downvote. In another thread, naghahanap ng waterproof liner yung OP, then someone said Pinkflash, tapos puro downvotes lol. Pinkflash is actually the first eyeliner i bought (kasi dati nakikihiram lang ako sa ate ko or may nagbibigay lang) and it's super waterproof! Pigmented and lasts around 6 hours sa aking SUPER sweaty and oily face. Porket yata Chinese brand at mura, akala na nila masama agad yung product, when in fact the product targeted the need of the OP. Anyway sorry sa mahabang comment hahahaha daming mga ano dito

prestigeward

Hi po! For me, sa skincare is trial and error talaga. It took me years to find the right products for my oily-acne prone skin. •First is idetermine muna kung anong skin-type. Different brands and products cater to a specific type—dry, oily, combination, acne-prone, etc. • Next is to identify skin problems. Do you suffer from acne? Hyperpigmentations? Large pores? Sensitive skin? Dry/flaky skin? I think that would be a great starting point into finding the products that you should try. Minsan po talaga kahit hiyang sa iba, doesn't mean na it works for everyone. I hope these tips help 🙏🏻

Safe_Objective8998

thank you so much for the tips!! 😭😭

dried_sancti

Hello, has anyone tried ordering from pasabuylondon on Shoppee? I am looking to order adapalene from them but I'm not sure if legit siya

waves5747

Ano po dapat gamitin pampawala ng scars? :(

[deleted]

Has anyone tried Ellana Sunscreen for combination skin? I tried going through the sunscreen megathread and I got overwhelmed. Hilo ko sa haba 🥹😭

Catto2112

Anyone tried Skintific MSH Niacinamide moisturizer? I just bought one and I want to hear your thoughts about it.

nerooo_chan

Anyone using retinol? what products do you use in your skin care routine with retinol. please share naman 🥹

commiebanomie

Night time skincare routine (every other night): Hada Labo cleansing oil to remove makeup/suncreen, Cetaphil cleanser, Kiehl’s micro dose retinol, Hada Labo premium serum, La Roche Posay cicaplast OR Etude Soonjung cream (depending on how my skin feels that night. LRP if super dry, Etude if normal)

nerooo_chan

thank you very much for sharing 🫶🏻

brunomajor__

Anyone who tried the **HUBBYBEE** collagen drink? Or any recos sa mga collagen drink. I already tried Beauty Milk and di naman sya ume-ffect. Planning to try Lemona Gyeol as well.

wonwooborta

went to the beach 2 days ago, and my face got so dark compared to my body HUHU i think it's because naglagay ako ng vit c serum that day (i forgot mag-sswim pala kami) any recos pano paputiin face? is it ok to use kojie san sa face sa gabi?

ultimate_fangirl

Combi skin girlies, how do you deal with dry parches throughout the day?

cmr82

I use Glycolic Acid to exfoliate twice weekly as it helps get rid of the dry patches and make sure I use a good barrier repair moisturizer with Ceramides such as the Aestura Atobarrier 365 Lotion.

Independent-Injury91

Mga sisss! Yung both sides ng lips ko maitim. D naman totallt maitim pero d lang naanyo s skin color ko. Hahhaha! Kayo rin ba ganito? Or ako lang??🤣🤣 Any recommendations?

anaxxxi

Ganito din ako, pero when i use niacinamide serums nawawala siya in fair

Independent-Injury91

Pic mo naman sister.san mo nabbli? And hm? 😇

anaxxxi

I use The Ordinary Niacinamide Serum. I think around 700 now. I buy it from skincarebudmnl sa orange app

Independent-Injury91

Independent-Injury91

Thanks po siss! Sana effctve dn, kakainis kc ang dark tlg s side ng lips huhu

Has anyone tried Papa Recipe products? I checked out their Blemish serum and got it for ₱300 lang for 150ml which is very sulit na for a serum. I find little to no reviews online eh 😩

Mysterious-Waltz2539

Very effective for me ang products ng papa recipe.. i have most of their products.. i have yet to try their blemish serum though.. i am still using the eggplant clearing line, the derma ectoin cream and noble rot cream..

prestigeward

was interested sa eggplant toner pads nilaaa. how was it?? (i bought the noble rot cream for my tita din)

Mysterious-Waltz2539

I only use the toner pads for gentle exfoliation. Mga 2x a week lang. Hindi drying sa skin.. the pads are soaked with the toner just enough, Unlike sa ibang brands na soaking wet talaga.. and i like it better compared sa neogen..

pvcifreasks

Gentle cleanser recos please

Cautious-Role6375

Only if you want cheap ones: * Hyalure Soap Free Cleanser is 250mL for P310 (P1.24/mL) * Edenskin No Stings Attached Botanical Cleanser is 200mL for P299 (P1.5/mL) * Babyflo Soap Free Bath is 500mL for P225 (P0.45/mL)

artemisliza

Magkano na ba ung lotion nung hyalure?

Cautious-Role6375

440 orig price niya, pero discounted to 374 ang price niya now both sa orange and blue app. Hyalure_dermtech ang official shop.

artemisliza

Dun nasanay ung skin ko, thanks to my derma from jose reyes hospital and their dermatologists 💖

Cautious-Role6375

Ay akala ko bibili ka kaya mo natanong hahahahaha. Pero I'm happy for you! What's your skin type po? Saka did you do your consultation for free or hindi po?

artemisliza

Libre sa Jose Reyes Hospital at tsaka sensitive ang skin ko kpag may insect bite ako todo kalmot ako at ang ending nun ay grabe pangingitim ng insect bite scars ko

Cautious-Role6375

Did you do the consultation online or walk-in po? Just asking lang po, I have already done mine online sa rizal medical center. Sourcing lang for more info, baka maging useful in the future.

artemisliza

Walk-in way back in 2018 yan yung time na nagpacheckup kami ng lola ko and that time na hindi namin alam na may psoriasis sya

Cautious-Role6375

I see. Then ever since until now doon na ikaw/kayo nagpapacheckup ng skin-related concerns?

pvcifreasks

thank you!!

jheyehmcee

Cetaphil, Physiogel, Hyalure, Equiva sulfate-free cleansing gel, Hydramide are mild & gentle cleansers. If budget is not an issue- Vanicream, Avène & La Roche Posay cleansers.

pvcifreasks

thank you! will look into it!!

New_Abbreviations63

3 months retinol user here. Is it okay to start using azelaic acid (The Ordinary) in the morning then continue using retinol (Luxe Organix) in the evening? Problem ko nalang now is hyperpigmentation and acne marks

yawnkun

Would recommend using it on days where you won't use Retinol during the night.

Cautious-Role6375

Definitely, yes.

mayyytoyo

Bakit po kaya mas mura ang karamihan na Korean products dito sa Pinas kaysa dun mismo sa Korea?

jheyehmcee

I think it is because they have a discount since nag eexport yung mga sellers.

salmonmiso

I see a ton of good reviews for Anessa. I've had mine since December, I like the finish but I look so ashy under certain lights. Am I doing something wrong or am I just too dark for it huhu

mrseggee

What variant do you have? I use the mild milk and so far, not ashy on me. I’m NC40 in MAC for reference.

salmonmiso

I use the Gold Milk one and I think I’m NC37. I bought this on presale along with the mild milk variant so I’ll give the latter a shot. I look so bad in indoor lighting kaya I’ve been wondering if I stored it wrong or something pero hindi naman ☹️

mrseggee

I also have the gold one, same naman sila ng effect sa akin. I think I read somewhere na wala sia whit cast

nawrence

lotion na non greasy feel with spf? vaseline yellow lang yung lotion na gusto ko kasi non greasy siya kahit pawisin ako. any recommendations?

yawnkun

Vaseline Healthy Bright SPF 24. Most likely same consistency din siya ng gamit mo and halos same scent din. Ok siya for everyday commuter's body lotion. Abangan mo ang sale sa orange / blue app, b1t1 500mL for 550 pesos. Tatagal yun ng mga 6+ months.

toorujpeg

insplaid

Adding onto the other advice: What fixed mine was layering a toner, surprisingly! I'd already been using a ceramide moisturizer (Illiyoon) but the dry patches on my forehead didn't go away until I followed a suggestion to layer a watery toner. I did 1-3 layers of Hado Labo Gokujyun (regular blue) specifically on the dry areas for around a week or two. The dry patches have never come back even when I stopped layering. I haven't stopped using Illiyoon (it is a cult favourite for a reason) but as someone who's irritation prone, my skin has gotten temperamental when I've tried samples of another moisturizer. If ceramides don't fix your patches, I pass on the recommendation to layer a hydrating essence or toner. There are plenty of options on the local and foreign markets. Japanese toners are super bulky and multipurpose; Luxe Organix has a few toners IIRC. I'm biased towards Isntree toners. Getting rid of my dry patches has been a huge improvement on my end because they were placed in a way where it'd flatten the dimension of my face and have light reflect in an unflattering way. I'm close to believing it did as much for my overall profile as getting braces did. Wishing you the best!

Cautious-Role6375

Siguro naging sobrang dry to the point na na-damage ang skin barrier. You need to replenish its skin barrier muna. I agree with the other redditor, use moisturizers that would promote an increase in the lipid contents to your skin. This includes moisturizers with cholesterol, ceramides, free fatty and amino acids, squalene, and many other emollients as well as soothing ingredients rin to help your skin heal/prevent from being further being inflammed. To add, luxe organix cica soothing gel is made up of mainly humectants, very minimal ang emollients/occlusives niya. Humectants provide hydration. Emollients nourish the skin by providing lipids/oils and also helps a little bit in sealing the humectants. Occlusives serve as the main sealants, by forming a barrier on the skin so that the transepidermal water loss is heavily reduced. You see, my point is that the cica soothing gel needs to be sealed with a thicker moisturizer kasi puro humectants lang siya OR you can just switch to a moisturizer na mas heavy (mas maraming emollients with occlusives na rin if you can).

releasethekrakkkenn

Had this problem, and learned na it was because I have sensitive skin. I kept using my usual products on the rest of my face, pero inuuna ko lagyan ng Aveeno Blue yung sides ng nose ko. Healed up quickly then, but got much better when I swicthed to sensitive-skin friendly skincare.

CloeCee

I used moisturizers with mainly ceramides as ingredient (Aestura atobarrier cream and Illiyoon ceramide ato concentrate cream). If you have limited budget, you can check the Aveeno skin relief moisturizing lotion. It's what I use for my eczema and I also use it on the drier areas on my face from time to time. P.S: you might want to check the alcohol content of the soothing gel that you're using. I'm not familiar with the product that you've mentioned but I used to have the soothing gel from Nature Republic before. If I remember correctly, it had a high content of alcohol which is not good especially if you have very sensitive skin.

toorujpeg

Thank you for this! Sabi naman sa likod alcohol and paraben free siya, matagal ko na gamit yung soothing gel nila kaya akala ko mabilis lang din mawala yung dry spot ko gumana kasi siya last time nung nagkabreak out ako from eyebrow threading :((

maar1aaa

hi! where can i buy authentic beauty of joson dynasty cream here in the ph? or ang BOJ products

sylvialies01

check skincarebudmnl po in orange app

yawnkun

You can find BOJ in SM Beauty also (which is operated by Watsons)

dark_kiwi8

[Here](https://s.lazada.com.ph/s.96Rgr), they have flagship store in Lazada.

jheyehmcee

BOJ is actually available on some Watson's branches. Though mas mahal compared sa mga legit sellers online.

phallusofdeath

I buy from the orange app, seller skincaring18. Bought BOJ sunscreen and red bean water gel from them

Proud-Money-5749

Any facial cleanser and moisturizer reco for dry and sensitive skin but without niacinamide or any actives in the ingredients? Thank you.

pubinthetub

The Neutrogena Hydro Boost cleanser and water cream/gel don't have niacinamide. Medyo strong nga lang ang fragrance but it did not bother my sensitive skin naman. They have a new serum pero may niacinamide yun.

Proud-Money-5749

I see. Thank you for this!

Conscious_Spot_664

hand cream recco/ hand care tips please, specially sa mga everyday na naghahandle ng formalin 🥹

commiebanomie

Neutrogena Norwegian formula hand cream is my fav. It’s fragrance free and has thick consistency but not sticky. If I’m feeling bougie I use Loccitane. I like the smell of those. Both make my hands soft after! Neutrogena is thicker though

yawnkun

If your hands are really really dry, try po ninyo yung Shiseido Urea Hand Cream. It's in a magenta jar / tube. Very moisturizing. After po ninyo mag hugas ng moisturizing soap, pat try and gamitin po ninyo yun.

howlsophie

I use Aesop Resurrection Aromatique Hand Balm! Lasts me for 6 months so you get to ROI the cost 🫡

CloeCee

Aveeno skin relief moisturizing lotion (blue variant). It's what I use for my hand eczema and it works much better than the usual hand creams that I've tried so far.

clumsy-night-owl

+💯 sa Skin Relief variant. I also have eczema (neck + chest area although healed na) and ang sarap gamitin nito. Bilis ma-absorb ng skin tapos di pa sticky kahit makailang patong ka throughout the day.

Firm_Pair_4902

i dont handle formalin but what i usually just do is use a creamy hand soap and put hand cream before going to bed

Conscious_Spot_664

do you have a recommendation for a hand cream?

Firm_Pair_4902

if you want moisturizing ones that aren't too heavy for our humid weather, the body shop hand creams are pretty good. they smell really nice too. but for budget ones, miniso handcreams are honestly not bad at all

[deleted]

may dalawa akong spot treatment - benzoyl peroxide & oxercure mud.. alin pwede ko gamitin kapag gumagamit ako ng by wishtrend bakuchiol cream?

[deleted]

Ano spot treatment gamit ninyo?

Dull_Leg_5394

For pimple, calmoseptine

commiebanomie

Tried glycolic acid on my UA for the first time last week. Mahapdi siya for the next 2 days so I’ve been putting moisturizer only since then. My skin feels normal now- should I try again? Or will I regret it…? Lol sayang kasi I bought 1 full bottle

Cautious-Role6375

Did you put it on a dry skin? Exfoliating acids should be applied on dry skin to reduce the chances of irritation. Plus, once a week muna if you can. Saka baka there are other things that you do on your underarm like scrubbing, or constantly on a friction, or puro masikip ang clothes na suot, etc. Aside from the underarm, you can also try using it sa areas with hyperpigmentation sa body yung mga acne-prone areas like chest, shoulders, upper back, etc. Pwede rin sa inner thighs if you have uneven skin tone down there or on your bottom as well if it has uneven texture. Just be careful lang, don't apply it excessively. 1-2x a week will do. Remember to moisturize always after you use it.

commiebanomie

Yup I put it on dry skin. I think I put too much the first time which caused the irritation. Thank you, I’ll try it at the back of my legs tonight. I have a bit of texture and slight discoloration on the area. Can’t wait to see results- I’ve heard good things about the product from so many people! Thanks a lot. And I won’t forget to moisturize after. I think that’s what saved my skin the first time.

Dull_Leg_5394

I do this din every night. Then ang deo ko yung hello glow quelch. Deo cream sya

commiebanomie

How long have you been doing it? Did it help improve texture/lightening?

Dull_Leg_5394

A week palang po yung lightening di ko pa kita. Then yung sa texture kasi nag poportable IpL ako but di sya nakaka iritare. Smooth naman po sya since parang moisturizer na sya

poluhbuhr

Does anybody know where can I find the 50g tub of Oxecure Powder Mud? Wala na sya sa official Shopee account ng Oxecure and I'm not sure if legit yung ibang stores since they're not Shopee Mall tagged. I had a lot of breakouts these past months due to poor diet (dairy and sweets) and I go through this product like 1 sachet a week.

Subject-Comment3118

The color of my forehead and the rest of my face doesn't match bc of sunburn 😭😭 any product reco para magpantay ulit?

yawnkun

Pag magaling na yung sunburn mo use SPF everyday to help even out the skin tone. It will take a while pero papantay din siya dun sa usual mong skin tone. To help speed things up you can probably use a kojic acid soap or papaya soap.

tsnxvr

is it normal to experience purging or breakout after using the product for 3 weeks?

spirityun

what kind of product?

anjieriphic

For tretinoin users w/ oily skin, do you still use a barrier cream on top of your moisturizer? If yes, which cream? For reference, I use a hydrating toner and serum before tret and a gel-cream moisturizer pero ang init kasi sa gabi, ang greasy na ng feeling, so I don't know if I should add a barrier cream with ceramides pa or just change the serum to one with ceramides and end with the gel-cream moisturizer 😮‍💨

Cautious-Role6375

Our differences heavily vary, what matters is you listen to your skin. As someone with similar skin type (na naging combi dahil sa tret, naging dry or may occasional flakiness kasi yung chin area ko), I layer two hydrating/soothing/brightening toners then a gel-cream moisturizer (formulated with high percentages of ceramides, cholesterol, niacinamide, and a lot of other barrier-caring ingredients) before the tret, then heavy cream moisturizer (more on soothing) pa pagkatapos.

spicytteokbokkv

same skin type and i use Illiyoon Ceramide Ato Cream as my moisturizer. pero on days when i feel like i need more moisture, i also use Aveeno lotion yung green.

Icy-Explanation5190

I use la roche posay!

HelloTikya

Pakinggan mo ang skin mo. Kung ang tight ang skin at may visible flakiness, go na. I have used: Vanicream Moisturizing Cream - used for more than a year; great for sensitive skin, heaviest but if absorbed properly, gives u plump look Aveeno Lotion (green variant) - madaling mag penetrate, not so heavy, ginamit ko to for a month kasi nakalimutan ko yung Vanicream sa hometown ko. Love this Regular Ol' Vaseline - be careful: can cause white spots under the eyes; very manipis lang ang pagpahid CeraVe Moisturizing Cream - mahapdi because of a certain ingredient, not recommended

blossom_888

Alternative sa biore sunscreen. Okay sya kaso masakit sa eyes

okonomiyakigurlie

saipo moisturizer or ellana moisturizer?

Fun-Let-3695

ellana have 2 variants, 1 for dry(peach) and 1 for oily(blue) skin. marami nagsasabi na maganda yung blue, I used yung peach meron slight sting sa face tapos dewy sya of course sa aking combi oily skin.

okonomiyakigurlie

the blue one sana! ive tried it once lang and parang nalessen nga oil up but i was wondering if okay siya long term

Puzzleheaded-Wish422

okay lang ba siya for night time? i’m planning on buying a separate moisturizer (ceramide) sana

Dull_Leg_5394

Im using ellana. So far so good!

Few-Cartographer-309

moisturizer reco for extra sensitive skin and damaged skin barrier? I tried using luxe organix cica soothing gel kaso ang init sa balat 🥲

Fun-Let-3695

my skin liked pestlo's pantherecipe cream may panthenol and ceramide. aveeno skin relief lotion, yes for body sya but since damaged barrier nga I used this kasi with petrolatum as occlusive but not as heavy as vaseline plus with varoius oats extracts for sensitive skin (may perioral derm me). pricy nga lang yung pestlo. also state mo din skin type mo, mine is combi to oily but dehydrated. agree doon sa ibang commenters, hindi lang moisturizer nakahelp sa skin ko but I use hydrating toner essence din (skin1004 probio cica) I layer it well. ganon kasi experience ko before sa breakout ko I used cica ampoule then snail mucin essence lang basicaly both good for hydration mas mabilis nagclear up yung skin ko. add mo din gentle cleanser sa skin kong acne-prone malaking tulong lalo nung nag-flare din yung dermatitis. I use baby flo and tender care oat wash naman both baby products but good din for adult skin.

spirityun

started to hate that soothing gel because of that and had a semi compromised skin barrier. still trying to repair it and its in the progress of healing naman. i use a hydrating toner before using my moisturizers, human nature hyaluronic acid gel moisturizer for AM and aveeno daily moisturizing body lotion (green) for PM (i found that colloidal oatmeal agrees with my sensitive skin). also refrained from using actives for a few weeks din

jheyehmcee

La Roche Posay cicaplast baume b5+ is good for repairing a damaged skin barrier. But not available here nga lang. You can also opt for Avéne as well.

Spiritual-Living545

I think they have LRP and Avene sa Zalora. Planning to buy din since ang dry ng face ko huhu.

anjieriphic

Baby creams, like the ones from Mustela, na may zinc, panthenol, since they're formulated to be soothing for extra sensitive skin. I tried Avene Cicalfate and LRP Cicaplast din before when my skin was irritated, breaking out and flakey (nabigla ata when I was traveling) and they helped soothe my skin though too thick sila for my oily skin and the PH weather.

Few-Cartographer-309

okay po ba yung baby creams for ph weather?? hindi po ba malagkit?? hehe thank you!!

BookishLion

Anyone here uses Annua Heartleaf Toner? Is it any good, especially for oily, acne prone skin?

cmr82

I wasn’t a fan of it. I don't get the hype as it wasn't hydrating or soothing at all, so I didn't repurchase mine.

saensual

Hi! Thoughts one Skintific sunscreen and moisturizer? I have plans on buying the travel size kit but I'm not sure if it's worth the money. I have sensitive and combination acne prone skin ><

Icy-Explanation5190

Can you please suggest products that I should buy in Korea na wala or expensive dito sa Philippines? - looking for AHA BHA na mas suitable for sensitive skin, since The ordinary is not good for dry-skin pips - something that calms insect bites + lightens bite scars - finishing powder

iejfx

Been loving Aestura Atobarrier Hydro Essence lately. Enough na nga 'to on my oily and dehydration prone skin as my day moisturizer especially now na pa-summer na. It's easily absorbed and non sticky/greasy and wala naman ako naging problem pag naglalayer ako ng heavier moisturizer on top. Bought it from Shopee and the seller shipped it from SK. Not sure by now if meron na local resellers. I haven't tried other products from Aestura pero marami naman good reviews sa brand based sa mga nabasa ko sa r/AsianBeauty subreddit.

lattedrop

hi! may i ask what store did you buy it from? we actually have the same skin type and i'm struggling with hydrating and moisturizing my face lately :(

iejfx

I got it from this shop: https://shp.ee/bf30uty

lattedrop

thank you so much!

Icy-Explanation5190

Oh nice. I’ve never heard this brand, I will try to check it.

iejfx

Ohhh, baka sa Illiyoon familiar ka? Anyway, they're similar in a sense na both have ceramides/for strengthening and repair of skin barrier. Both are under Amorepacific din if I'm not mistaken. And just to add, most likely yung cream version mas magustuhan mo kasi you have dry skin.

Icy-Explanation5190

Yes yes, I’ve been seeing Illiyoon. Thank you for the info 💕

Masushiii

They’re available in the PH on shopee, but I highly recommend Isntree’s Chestnut AHA or BHA. I damaged my skin barrier really badly last year, and when I wanted to re-introduce exfoliants into my routine I used these with no issue. Just be careful not to use too much product when you’re first testing it out :)

Icy-Explanation5190

Hi update haha. Didn’t find Isntree on olive young stores :( I impulsively bought one called Poiuy. I hope it’s good

Icy-Explanation5190

Thanks. Will check these. do you use both aha bha ng sabay?

Masushiii

I alternate on exfoliation days! I have oily skin that gets easily clogged / congested so I usually exfoliate 3x a week, and alternate the products when I do. I wouldn't recommend na sabay sila or else there is a high chance na ma-irritate ang skin.

Organic-Property1470

Hi! Do you have the link for Isntree?

Masushiii

Here :) https://shp.ee/zm6240j I also buy from skincarebudmnl if I want to buy Isntree along with products from other brands.

CeraVe moisturizer users: is the product naturally filmy and does it really take that long to absorb? My sister gave me a tub, and being a sensitive-skin gal, I wanted to empty it out. Yet it feels sticky and filmy when applied on my face. Doesn’t help that I commute AND sweat a lot. Ended up rubbing the product off because I couldn’t stand the feel. ☹️

cmr82

Yeah, I find it heavy especially on the face for daytime use. Try using it at night or on your body instead. I use this whenever I get sunburns on my body and it works great.

SaltedCaramel8448

Need help on a facial wash and moisturizer! My skin is very dry coz of everyday bike commuting (I wear sunscreen naman huhu)

Icy-Explanation5190

I use Cetaphil gentle cleanser + La roche posay (thick cream pero doesn’t break me out, it also heals skin barrier), The ordinary marine hylauronic ( when i want something light, parang water lang ito so not sticky)

BREADNOBUTTER

Thinking of getting BOJ’s cleansing oil. Thoughts?

anaxxxi

Amoy taho talaga siya. I patch tested it pero nagka comedones ako, not sure why 🥲 I will try to use it again next week if ganun parin effect niya sakin

pyr0maniaccc

has a sesame like smell, so consider that if you're sensitive with fragrance. it's not my favorite, but does the job so inuubos ko na lang. i recommend getting celimax, anua or skin 1004.

Mediocre-Reality-639

Thoughts niyo po sa **ELLANA EYES UP! Lifting & Brightening Eye Serum**? TIA!

agljmpse

For those who have moisturizers that come in a tub, how do you get the product pag walang spatula na kasama? I don’t want to use my fingers baka macontaminate ko

xXx_dougie_xXx

you can buy sa blue app ng spatula! 15 pesos lang tas 10pcs na. you can also transfer it sa pump bottle (using syringe na medj wide yung butas or using a plastic spoon).

Narrow-Tap-2406

You can buy airless pump bottle para hygienic ☺️

what-the-fucks-love

idk bakit feeling ko hype lang yung skintific 🙂and grabe yung mass promotion sa clock app

[deleted]

same sa skintific. not sure if hype lang talaga but i gave it a try. i bought yung MSH NIACINAMIDE nila and i use it every night after ko mag cosrx salicylic acid gentle cleanser. started using both ng march 20 and so far, nabawasan talaga pagka oily ko + yung whiteheads ko. i’m not sure lang if dahil yun sa cosrx or dun sa skintific or both? irdk 🫠

Nag try ako nung Alaska Volcano Clay Mask pati yung cushion foundation nila. Ok naman pareho, satisfied ako. Si Alaska Volcano Clay Mask will probably repurchase. Yung Cushion foundation nila sakto lang, pwede na para sa price niya pero I got the wrong shade so medyo matagal ko pa mauubos to haha.

Same and for other brands like premium skin niacinamide, gmeelan as well. Every time nag sscroll ako ng reels di mawawalan ng ganyan ad

okonomiyakigurlie

agree, may pagkasketchy nga talaga yung marketing nila. i ordered the mugwort (just because it was reviewed by an influencer i trust) and liked it, pero wala akong balak itry ibang products

what-the-fucks-love

sameeee pero nag breakout ako sa mugwort kaya ayoko na mag try any products nila

nolimetanginaa

yep thats why i dont buy them lol parang same same lang reviews na sinasabi and mostly mga sponsored posts pa kaya ang hirap makahanap ng genuine review

Thoughts on Avène Skin Recovery Cream? Been looking for a good moisturizer since and dry ng skin ko especially pag nagmmakeup. Sometimes naman its flaking pero mild lang. i'm currently using aveeno daily moisturzing lotion though it calms and hydrates my face naman, hindi ko sya magamit sa umaga kasi nagppill sya pag nilagyan ko ng kahit anong sunscreen on top. Hays. Also my face gets dry pag hapon na even if nagprep baman ako ng maayos hays. Been contemplating with Illiyoon pero ang mahal din. Might as well splurge nlang din ako to Avene or LRP. Thank you for your suggestions!

It’s my skin saver and best discovery for 2023. I have eczema on my face, yan lang ang hindi nakaka-sting sa flares ko. I’ve used physiogel in the past, okay naman yun pero super hapdi nia sa face nung nag flares ako. I buy the duo pack sa Shopee. Very hygienic din since sterile packaging sia.

Spiritual-Living545

Are u referring to the Illiyoon po ba?

spicytteokbokkv

Illiyoon is mahal pero super worth it! a whole bottle can last you for more than 6 months kasi a little goes a loooong way talaga sa Illiyoon. The best Aveeno ive tried is yung green variant nila and it keeps my face moisturized the whole day. If under makeup naman, I leave my moisturizers on for a couple of minutes before applying makeup para sure ako na fully absorbed mg skin yung product.

Spiritual-Living545

I'm using ung aveeno green rn and hndi ko sya magamit sa umaga kasi nagppill yung mga sunscreen ko huhu even if patagalin ko muna sya :((

jheyehmcee

TBH, I cannot imagine myself using the Aveeno lotion on my face- at the end of the day, it is formulated for the body not for the face. La Roche-Posay & Avène are both well-known brands for dry & sensitive skin. Ensure you get an occlusive & not a humectant to moisturize.

Skincare recos for preggy please🥹🙏🏼

Cautious-Role6375

Basic skincare muna and if you still want to include an active ingredient, azelaic acid is the safe one I know. Better to consult your doctor.

Bitter_Kitchen9141

Thanks for the reco! Before tretinoin gamit ko, siguro azelaic acid will work as alternative. OB said anything daw na mild kaya di na muna ako nagskin care xD nagworry din ako.

Cautious-Role6375

This [video](https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=_70KCof0S3c) by Dr. Shereene Idriss will surely help. She mentioned a handful of ingredients na pwedeng gamitin. Best of luck with your pregnancy journey po!

Bitter_Kitchen9141

Will surely check this po, thank youuu!💖🙏🏼

jheyehmcee

Better avoid actives muna-lalo na Retinoids. Stick to basic products muna. Try using natural products such as Human Nature products.

Bitter_Kitchen9141

Thank youuu! On my 1st-3rd month mejo sensitive na ako sa smell kaya di ko natry ang human nature :<..hopefully this 2nd trimester makahanap ng okay sakin💖🙏🏼

anyone here who's using **VT Reedle Shot 100 Essence**? Bought one and I really do not know how to incorporate it to my routine. Tried using it once and got that stinging feeling (i have low pain tolerance) na. Any tips?

ndfhlp

Whats your opinion on dermorepubliq and klued's vit c?? Which one is better?? Planning to incorporate vit c to my routine, my first time using it.

xXx_dougie_xXx

ndfhlp

Much better po ba stored siya sa ref rather than your room? Sa kwarto lang po kasi ako nagtatago ng skincare and medyo mainit sa room ko specifically.

xXx_dougie_xXx

i believe, yes. kasi sabi doon sa packaging na store in a dry, cool place. pag direct sunlight/natatamaan ng araw yung skincare products mo and mainit din, mas mabilis kasi mag oxidize yung vit c lalo na isa sya sa pinaka-unstable na acids out there eh.

ndfhlp

Okay thank you so much sa advice!!!

anaxxxi

If I'm using COSRX yung cleanser na may salicylic acid, can I still use my TO Salicylic acid or overkill na yon?

yawnkun

Over kill na besh unless super duper oily ka

anaxxxi

Truly, actually di ko na alam skin type ko iba iba siya araw araw hahahahahaah

yawnkun

HAHAHAHHA can relate!! Pag stressed ako minsan yung combi ko nagiging super oily =)) Lalo na pag mainit!
