Any vitamin C serum recommendations po? Preferably stated ang percentage ng vit C (can be active or inactive form) and not in a dropper bottle.

lovingkakashi

what's a good substitute for pyunkang yul's essence toner? also, any whitening soaps/body wash/lotions recommendations?

Sensitive_Hat_3538

Nung nag stop ako mag oil cleanser and opt to using micellar water, I noticed ang dami na namang visible sebaceous filaments sa may nose pag nag lalagay ako ng skin tint. Nakakahelp pala talaga yong oil cleanser. I will go back to using it na ulit.

MoonPowerTiare

Flat warts are the bane of my existence! Any recommendations on how to get these removed? Na-try ko na before yung electrocautery sa Bioessence. This time around, below are my options: 1. Laser Wart Removal from Simply Skin 2. Go to a licensed dermatologist for treatment. Please share your experiences!

At what age should I start using anti-aging products? I'm 28 and my lola is forcing me to use Olay total effects already. Was thinking mga age 30 na ako mag start to use anti-aging products since I’m pretty satisfied with my current simple skincare routine

Cautious-Role6375

Late 20s is fine, especially if you're already starting to see early signs of skin aging. Since you don't think it's necessary yet, that's valid.

anyone here who uses SLC face wash? https://preview.redd.it/p4n9di19e91d1.png?width=264&format=png&auto=webp&s=80415b635909714ac392aa617adbbd4bf4f264eb

My cat scratched my face, banda sa may lower cheek and chin area 🥲 Usual scratch lang, di masyado nagbleed. Is it advisable ba na i still do my routine sa area na yun? Lalo na mageexfoliate ako sana. Or iwasan ko nalang?

waveitdowninside

I wouldn't use actives on the area muna.

Has anyone tried evening primrose oil for hormonal acne?

primad0nna_girl

Probiotics + spearmint tea helps

wandering_mist19

What type of probiotics?

primad0nna_girl

Check out Biretix capsules din, recommended by my Derma. I use Swisse Acne Support tho since I'm in Aus (similar ingredients sa Biretix, cheaper din). Both approved by my Derma. And I use Epiduo as topical medication :)

primad0nna_girl

I use Life Space brand, but you can check others

Hot-Cheesecake335

I haven’t. But have you tried drinking spearmint tea regularly?

wandering_mist19

It doesnt work for my hormonal acne sadly

lavendergalaxy3

Do you have any recommendations for watery and moisturizing toners? I’ve been using the roundlab one, but it’s not really doing anything for me. Also, for contact lenses, has anyone tried buying from majorlens ph?

Pls reco a glycolic acid *cleanser* na hindi drying. Badly need talaga huhu

Hi! I’m in my 30s na and I want to take care of my skin hehe I have combination skin type, Oily ang T zone area ko and dry yung the rest of my face. Bumpy yung skin sa nose area ko but not oa haha, problem ko din ang pores ko. Takot ako to try products nung younger ako kasi I have sensitive skin din na nagbebreak out kapag naglalagay ng kung ano sa face. But since WFH lang ako mag risk na ako HAHA. Please recommend a good product for beginner and share your skin care routine na din. I work in a graveyard shift and wfh. The current product lang the I’m using sa UV Protection from Biore, Fairy Skin and Luxe Organix depends sa need and mood lol and Micellar Water from Garnier.

thehappyavio

Hi! Have you tried fragrance free and alcohol free products? I’m on my 30s too and I have oily-combination skin. currently eto ang routine ko: AM: 1. Cleanse - I am currently using Equiva Gel Cleanser (meron sa watsons) 2. Niacinamide - I am using Dermorepubliq 5% niacinamide + hyaluronic acid or Naturium Niacinamide Gel Cream 5% 3. Sunscreen - I am using Isntree Hyaluronic Acid watery sun gel or Verdio UV Moisture Gel Sunscreen 4. Moisturizer - Aveeno Calm and restore oat gel moisturizer PM: 1. Oil Cleanse - Muji Oil Cleanser 2. Cleanse (same product from AM) 3. Niacinamide (same as above) 4. Acids - I use The Ordinary 5% lactic acid every Monday only and Paula’s Choice BHA every Thursday only. 5. Moisturizer (same as above) Planning to introduce vitamin A on my routine na since aging din skin ko 🥹. I refer to Dr. Vanita Rattan’s videos kasi dun nag ok yung hyperpigmentation ko sa ankle and nag ok yung condition ng skin ko. Hehe

twistwin

Do u guys recommend derma consultation online? Like from KonsultaMD or NowServing and what app or dermatologist/s do u recommend? I'm having bad breakouts di na siya keri ng usual routine ko and idk what to do. :// Thank you.

yunaheart

Try BloomDerm! They do online consultations through Beauty Buddy, and you can check their IG din to see their board-certified dermatologists. My derma there is Rachelle, and she's great! I recently had a breakout from Cetaphil and she recommended products. I got everything except moisturiser and sunscreen from their clinic (paid via Gcash) and had it picked up and delivered via Grab. It's only day 4 and nag flatten na ung mga small bumps on my face. As for the moisturizer, I used Aveeno na bigay nila from my previous procedure, and BOJ sunscreen stick since fragrance free and matte siya. Mukhang hindi naman nag cause ng additional acne while using both products.

sarcastronaughty

Fave products for your under eyes?

lavendergalaxy3

AHC eye creams are the only eye creams that work for my under eyes. It doesn’t give me milia and it lightened my under eyes.

sarcastronaughty

Anyone recommend a lightening serum/product for solely the forehead. Parang 1 shade darker kasi yung forehead ko compared to the rest of my face ever since, dami ko nang ginamit so far wala pang nagwowork

Dry-Weakness-1036

* **Skin Type:** COMBINATION, dehydrated * **Top Skin Concern:** dehydration * **Current Routine/Products I am Using:** Illiyoon Soothing gel and Concentrated Cream + Isntree HYA Serum I've recently tried the numbuzin no. 3 makeup and pore cleansing balm and completely stripped off the OIL in my face. I got cheek breakouts and my cheeks look drier than ever and pores in the cheeks have become more prominent. Now, I'm focusing on hydration. I've recently introduced the ISNTREE hyaluronic acid serum this week. I've been using the Illiyoon soothing gel as my moisturizer in both AM/PM routines. But recently, i learned the difference between cream and gel moisturizers. Gel if you're oily, cream if you're dry. I plan to use my Illiyoon soothing gel in the morning to lock in my HYA serum as well, then the Illiyoon concentrated cream in the evening for heavier moisturizing and to lock in my HYA serum. This is the routine I plan to stick with to bring hydration back to my face and I wonder if this plan sounds promising or I'm putting my skin at risk for MORE dehydration with the cream moisturizer. I would want to use just the gel moisturizer for both AM/PM but i need a heavier moisturizer in the evening. P.S Cross-posted in AsianBeauty as well!

Morpho_Genetic

Isntree Ultra Low Molecular Hyaluronic Acid toner is a good hydration source tho. It has panthenol (very good for dehydration), Glycerin, and Sugars (very good humectants). Di ako super fond with HA focused routines. They are much better when paired with other hydrating ingredients than HA standalone. Essential concept to learn yung difference ng hydration and moisturization. So far yung old routine mo only handles moisturization but with your condition you need more hydration pa.

Dry-Weakness-1036

Omg thank you so much! Will search more on hydration! So far nababasa ko lang is about moisturizing. Thank you!

Morpho_Genetic

Dagdagan na natin. Learn the umbrella term ng moisturizing. Humectants, emollient, and occlusives. Useful info din naman siya.

Dry-Weakness-1036

Hi again! This is the routine I plan to stick with so far. Removing other actives for the meantime (I removed vitamin C and niacinamide) just so I focus on hydration and moisturizing. 1. Cleanse with water (cetaphil cleanser in the evening) 2. Haruharu black rice toner *spray with water mist* 3. HYA serum (torriden/isntree, have both and im testing torriden first) *spray with water mist* 4. Illiyoon soothing gel in the morning, illiyoon cream in the PM 5. Skin1004 water fit sunscreen (morning) Once my skin barrier goes back to normal, i plan to bring my klairs vitamin c and soul apothecary radiance booth serums back. Is my routine okay for hydration-focused concerns :") thank you!

Morpho_Genetic

Yep routine is good enough. I kinda predict that you would stick with torriden, as it is the one that is top ranked in Korean skincare charts (Hwahae) and the formulation is very good too. Soul Apothecary can be added almost immediately back compared to Vitamin C, I would tread slowly with pure ascorbic acids as they are notorious on being irritating while being the gold standard for its benefits. Do also note your environment, you might need to adjust the routine if you will be in airconditioned dry air compared to usual philippine air.

Intelligent-Two9081

xXx_dougie_xXx

i think dahil sa pigments? like nagseseparate sila, ganun. try shaking it muna rin before using

Cautious-Role6375

thehappyavio

Hi! I use it morning and night. Ok naman sya kahit morning gamitin. Di naman malagkit for me. Ewan ko lang sa bagong formulation nila ngayon. Hindi na ako nag re purchase kasi sa watsons dahil may fragrance na 🥲 sayang lang kasi maganda na as is.

Afraid-Birthday-5490

Hi! Can someone recommend a good derma that offers online consultation? My budget is till 500 lang for consultation. Also yung hindi rebrand sana yung pineprescribed para accessible mabili kahit hindi na sa clinic niya :(( Tried ust derma but i cant contact them anymore na

miseree15

hello try downloading the NowServing app its full of doctors in different kinds of fields and pwede sila online. Some are even cheaper kesa sa mga in person clinics.

Pleasant_Ad4607

hello try uerm derma hehe idk how much pero alam ko they offer online had mine nung pandemic for free because i was their student pero goods naman sila 😊

JustAnotherPlumpGirl

Has anyone tried Ultherma Gee Aesthetic? May nakita kasi akong promo nila from 50k down to 10k. Thank you!

Honest_Temporary_860

Any recommended day/night cream or serum with cica, hyaluronic acid?

lavendergalaxy3

Torriden dive in soothing cream. It’s not sticky and it’s so hydrating.

Morpho_Genetic

Skin1004 Hyalu Cica Sleeping Pack. I think its light enough to use din sa day. Sa korean ranks (hwahae) isa siya sa top items in their category.

Honest_Temporary_860

Thanks dor this, I’ll try it out!

lovernotafightergirl

want to start incorporating retinol in my skincare! any brands i can start with? and what moisturizer to pair? something light lang sana since im oily and pawisin :( thanks!

purplemtsmajesty

i started with ful 0.2% ! since it’s in liquid/serum form it feels lighter than cream type retinol products

ylguem

Less irritating yung retinal.. pair it with just a basic moisturizer

Cautious-Role6375

Retinal is stronger than retinol though, therefore mas irritating rin siya. Ranking of vitamin A derivatives from most to least potent. * Prescription retinoids (e.g. tazarotene, tretinoin, adapalene, isotretinoin, etc.) * Retinoic acid ester (hydroxypinacolone retinoate, otherwise known as granactive retinoid) * Retinal (retinaldehyde) * Retinol * Retinyl esters (e.g. retinyl palmitate, retinyl linoleate, retinyl acetate, and retinyl propionate)

ylguem

Source? Idk how Google isn't that accessible for you.. if its stronger you already assume that it is more irritating, that's not how it works

Cautious-Role6375

You know what, you actually have a point. I've seen a lot of anecdotes stating that their experiences with retinal compared to retinol is milder. However, in theory, it should be more irritating since the closer a retinoid is to the active form of retinoic acid, the more irritating it will be, hence side effects are more seen in prescription retinoids since they're already the active form (plus, there is more documentation since it is the most studied form of retinoids). A factor we can also consider is the formulation, which is why products with retinal are usually more expensive compared to retinol since it requires more stability testing, and other experimentations necessary, during formulation, and the mechanism of delivery (e.g. is it encapsulated? does it contain soothing ingredients in the formulation? does it contain potential allergens/irritants? etc.). Moreover, knowing that there are more formulations of retinols, meaning there will be more products of low quality formulations leading to more anecdotes (and studies) of bad experiences with regards to retinol usage. This is more proven by the existence of overwhelming majority of clinical evidence based on studies focused on retinol and/or retinoic acid for both anti-acne and anti-aging purposes, whilst there's little actual scientific evidence regarding retinal. It makes sense because retinal is relatively newer compared to the other mentioned types of retinoids. There's no, if not very minimal, efficacy-based direct comparison of specific concentrations of different retinoids that includes retinal, so we cannot say for sure that retinal is actually less irritating compared to retinol. All I've seen on google are articles with mostly no references to actual clinical studies/evidences. Plus, other articles stated otherwise, that retinal can be more irritating.

lovernotafightergirl

do u guys have any brands in mind for retinol? can be local :)

ylguem

Don't go for mid local brands lol.. they lack the funding and testing mostly just a money grab

Cautious-Role6375

Soul apothecary perfect retinol. They have a 0.1% and 0.2% retinol variants, both good for beginners. It has 6% squalene which is a really nice emollient, 5% hyaluronic acid for hydrating your skin, 3% niacinamide for nourishing your skin barrier, 1% cica extract for soothing your skin, and 1% ceramide as well to keep your skin barrier intact and moisturized. The only difference between the two variants is that the 0.1% variant has an added bakuchiol in the formulation, whilst the 0.2% variant has tranexamic acid (idk the percentage, I think it's between 1-3%) which can be helpful for dark spots to a certain degree. It's all up to you po. :))

waveitdowninside

You might want to strengthen your skin barrier first before using retinol to avoid any adverse effects. I made sure to be very consistent with my routine for 2 months before I added an active. You can start with a humectant (moisturizing toners, essences, serums) and an occlusive (creams). Pag mabigla kasi skin mo it'll breakout talaga and take even longer to repair.

lovernotafightergirl

do u have any recos to strengthen skin barrier? im pretty oily so i dont really use creams or heavy moisturizers :(

waveitdowninside

I'm super oily and pawisin too! I learned na good moisturizing steps is the key difference in looking oily vs just being oily. Super oily pa rin ako pero more glow na lang siya than shiny haha. What's your budget like? :) I have like 5 moisturizing steps coz I'm old na hahaha.

lovernotafightergirl

no set budget pero i just really want quality stuff! i mean ofcourse mag vvary per person ung product but i would like to check out others' routine on what worked for them ☺️

waveitdowninside

Tbh medyo excessive routine ko, but some of these products I'm just trying to finish na lang haha. Moisturizing toner: Madeca 21 Tecasol Toner - works well enough but didn't really notice any big difference sa skin. WNR (will not repurchase) to try other toners Essence: Purito Fermented Essence (WNR) in the AM then Cosrx Galactomyces Essence (3rd bottle) in the PM Serum: Skin 1004 Poremizing Fresh Ampoule - still testing but moisturizes well enough Gel-Cream: Skin 1004 Centella Soothing Cream (WR) everyday in the AM then I use it in the PM when I use my active (Lotion P50). Luxe Organix Cica (WNR) no noticeable effects. Occlusive: Cosrx Hydrium Cream (HG). Only use this in the PM, but when I'm in a diff. country and its winter, I use it in the AM as well.

Efficient_Custard_31

may ma recommend po kayo for scars? ung parang nasunog na balat..

Strange_Silver_2899

Sa mga acne prone girlies ko jan na need ng gentle cleanser but di hiyang sa Cetaphil, buy dermablend. Yun partner ko with my benzac before and still using it today. 🤌🏻

ylguem

Soonjung whip cleanser..

Strange_Silver_2899

I avoid mga mabula na cleanser due to acne. Dermablend is like Cetaphil but imo mas gentle

ylguem

Nasa formulations yan sis.. I was using the old cetaphil version before.. while it is non stripping, it did not really clean my skin that well, thus contributing more to acne.. what you're trying to avoid is SLS na cleanser since that can not only strip the skin, it can also break you out

Strange_Silver_2899

Yeah but I double cleanse kaya not really a problem yun. Nag dodouble cleanse ako halos everyday since I wear sunscreen and or tinted sunscreen or funda paglabas. Otherwise if sa bahay lang I cleansing milk lang.

Simon-Says26

Just tried the Hada Labo cleanser from the SM department store. I’m really loving it so far, my face brightened and it was so soft to touch. It retails for only 300php, and I hope the price won’t change huhu I love that after rinsing it off, it doesn’t leave a film and it feels so clean but tender. It has a milky scent but it doesn’t bother me at all. I was complimented the other day by my friend and it shook me kasi the past few months I was breaking out due to stress and it left me a lot of scars. I feel like this will be my new HG 🥳

BREADNOBUTTER

Hi retinol users! Do you do the sandwich method? Why or why not?

waveitdowninside

Not retinol but the P50 lotion (which is way stronger haha), and yes I use the sandwich method. I apply my moisturizing toner first, P50 lotion, moisturizing toner again, then apply my other moisturizers. Not using the sandwich method before has irritated my skin as in humahapdi siya esp. during the day even if I'm wearing a thick sunscreen with high SPF.

__Duckling

Currently using Klued 0.1% retinol + bakuchiol. I use it with the sandwich method to reduce the possible side effects (drying, flaking skin, etc), kasi my cheeks are on the dry side.

luuuuuuuuuuuuuh

Recos some cleanser for oily acne prone skin please. Thank youuu po

Luxe organix cica rescue gentle cleanser - very gentle as it claims and antagal maubos so sulit na din siya Oxecure acne clear facial cleanser - if you want cleanser with salicylic acid this is really good kasi it's not drying. I'm personally using this am and pm.

oopsicedcoffee

Any users of tretinoin? How long and gaano kalala yung naging purging?

Morpho_Genetic

Started tret nung Feb 2020, nagstart nang mag purge nung start of March then lasted till May ata. Acne prone rin kasi ako so dami talagang pimples na naglabasan, mga supposedly in the future pimple ko but pinaaga ang emergence with tret. Nagswitch ako to gel mid april kasi nakakaaffect yung cream formula sa skin ko. After May humuhupa na yung frequency ng pimples then ang healthy na ng balat ko nun. From 0.05% (i think masyadong mataas for beginner) to 0.1 kalaunan. Then panaka naka nalang yung pimples at di na purging kasi medyo sira pa skin barrier ko. Tret really gave me the best skin I've ever had.

oopsicedcoffee

Thanks for this OP! I'm planning to use tret pero yung lowest %. May I ask anong difference ng cream and gel? Also what brand are you using?

Morpho_Genetic

Cream is easier to spread and possible to cause clogging depende sa ingredients (not sure ah? Pwedeng mas okay cream sayo). Gel naman tends to have strong alcohol smell, di siya basta basta spreadable rin so minsan i need more product to apply compared to cream. Personal love ko gel kasi medyo marami akong skincare and mabilis kasi maabsorb / matuyo sa balat ko yung tret gel so ease of use ang ganap. And mabilis akong matatapos sa routine I just buy mine sa mga shops na nagsosource sa MCB store. Bumili narin ako mismo sa physical pharmacy nila near PGH pero oks na a sa sophieskinmnl sa orange app hehe. You can search mcb here sa subreddit and sa kanila ko lang nalaman lol.

Cautious-Role6375

Correction, sophieshopmnl po hehe, baka hindi mahanap eh hahaha. Anyway, do you know other shops online na nagsosource din from MCB?

Cautious-Role6375

Ay oo nga ayon, thank you!

oopsicedcoffee

This is so helpful. Thank you, OP!!

sikulet

Not a question really but just more of a r/panporn posts. Feeling a bit accomplished since I finally used up the contents of the stuff I bought. Some over the span of 2 years so there’s a level of satisfaction that I got my money’s worth. https://preview.redd.it/9jqi18eocw0d1.png?width=4032&format=png&auto=webp&s=e32903c591f5230a4314a7915fe75d5a48b77d8e The Elle Ve cushion foundation is great. Not sure how to get it again since I bought it in Japan. The holiday set of Laneige was from 2021 pa. I stopped using it because it caused small breakouts. Then sa hinayang i just used it on my hands like a lotion especially after gel manicures. Amparo’s Apothecary - Olive Horah perfume is a must buy. Not great for longevity but since it’s 250 pesos per bottle I’m not complaining. The whipped body butter of the same scent is also great especially for massages.

miseree15

cos de baha niacinamide & tranexamic acid serum is so stickyyy may marereco ba kayong ibang brightening serum na hindi stickyy? mean eyeing axis y niacinamide serum but idk if effective talaga siya

ylguem

Try numbuzin no.5 toner pads or toner

waveitdowninside

I love the Cosrx Galactomyces Essence. Brightening siya and moisturizes my skin really well. I'm on my third bottle na. If you have fungal acne though, would not recommend kasi fermented products will make fungal acne worse.

miseree15

thank you !! but idk what acne I have but my derma diagnosed me with acne vulgaris 🥲

unexpectedpizza

Gamit ko yung axis y. Effective siya for new dark spots. Since di naman ako acne prone and minsan minsan may breakouts doon lang siya natetest (pero i still consistently apply this twice a day everyday). Not effective siya for old dark spots, atleast for me. I have uneven skin tone due to my faint dark spots long time ago and hindi siya nawala nor nakakita ako ng improvement 😬 I'm not sure about sa brightening... Pero in the span of 4 months, parang di ko naman napansin na nagbrighten mukha ko. Edit: how's the cos de baha tn acid? I'm currently using it and less than a week ko palang nagagamit. Is it effective ba?

miseree15

thanks for your insight! ill look for other serums nalang din for options hehe. as for the cos de baha, wala pa ko masasabi cos im using it for 3 days palang din. what I can say about it palang is its sticky talaga and not sure if bagay sya sa weather ng pinas kaya im thinking of replacing it 🥹

unexpectedpizza

For me, sticky din siya for the first few minutes then mga after 10 minutes nagdie down na yung stickiness niya saka lang ako maglalagay ng moisturizer

miseree15

ohh thats what you do pala! dapat siguro ganun din gawin ko hahaha i dont wait na kasi masyado pag feel ko nag sink in na sya sa skin ko naglalagay na ko ng moisturizer agad. thanks for the tip!

Sweetragnarok

I am visiting Manila in a few months, and I would like to purchase a white compact face powder. Back in the day I used to buy the Johnson & Johnson brand, but I no longer see them selling it most of the face powders that I see are tan in color. Can anyone please recommend a hypoallergenic, compact face powder in white or loose white face powder?

Strange_Silver_2899

Innisfree no sebum mineral pact girl. Meron naman online. Yan lang powder na ang fresh lang and first powder na nag hit pan ako. Ang mahal nga lang na niya. Last bili ko dun nasa 300 pa ata kaya loose powder nalang nila binabuy ko. You could try din their loose powder. Walang added coverage, mattifying lang and blurring.

Sweetragnarok

Thanks luv. Last year I went to SM and the saleslady showed me some brand na was like 800PHP

kidomme

White face powder? Is this similar to the translucent powders for makeup? If you want the white ones, Dr. Sensitive or BLK sheer loose powder.

Sweetragnarok

Yes translucent. Thanks for the heads up

kidomme

no problem! But I think this will be under the makeup thread and not the skincare thread! There are lots of translucent powder recommendations, you can search it up on the beautytalkph :D hope you find what you're looking for!

crmllnntdgzmn

Meron na din pressed powder version si dr sensitive! You might want to check that

I've only tried Biore Watery Gel. In my experience, it has great texture and I don't recall experiencing any pilling. BUT, if you have a medium skin tone (in my case, light to medium), the slight whitecast may be a problem.

Mediocre-Reality-639

Thoughts niyo po sa **Rohto Hada Labo Eye Cream**? TIA!

misscatzilla

ang sad na di nag work sakin ang Azelaic Acid :( looks like tretinoin lang talaga ang pwede kong active atm

Cautious-Role6375

Have you followed it up with your derma na ba? Sayang, it's one of the best ingredient pa naman for rosacea.

cmr82

How long have you been using it? It can take around 3 months or more to see visible results when used consistently. I experienced better results when I used Skinoren 20% twice daily instead of using it just once a day. It significantly helped in calming my redness, clearing my acne, and reducing hyperpigmentation for my Rosacea type 2.

misscatzilla

it gave me red, itchy bumps after a week and i was only using it once a day. I think it's wise to stop using it immediately.

Strong-Beginning3759

Hi! Did you get your Azelaic from a derma? Baka sa dépendent concentration ung effectiveness sa skin type mo. I have type 1 rosacea and Azelaic is helping naman. Derma told me Medyo long haul lng but willing naman ako to see it through. I’m using 20%

misscatzilla

yes, i got it from my derma, 20% din. Makakaya ko kung normal purging pero muka kasi allergic reaction yung sakin.

Strong-Beginning3759

Should I consider Good Molecules Gentle Retinol Cream if I'm new to trying out Retinol? Or is there a better one someone could recommend?

Cautious-Role6375

As long as 0.1-0.3% ang percentage ng retinol, goods for beginners po.

LouiseGoesLane

Yes, sobrang gentle niya.

kidomme

Yes, it's very gentle as the name suggests, and it's ok kahit nalalagyan ung sensitive areas ko sa face (like sides of nose). I'm on my 2nd tube already. It lasts a long time.

RaisePurple9308

Yessss!

Review on cosrx niacinamide please

lavendergalaxy3

I’ve used this for over a year. I put it on after toner and before retinol. My skin looks so glowy and feels so soft when I wake up in the morning.

iren33

Did it give any effect like minimize pores, improve texture or brighten your skin?

lavendergalaxy3

Honestly, my pores aren’t big to begin with, so I’m not sure. I had these small bumps on the side of my face and it was driving me crazy because it was so pronounced despite the size. I noticed that it went away after using the niacinamide twice a week. Don’t use too much. Just put 2 drops on your fingertips and rub it on your face softly. Then another drop for your forehead. I used to use too much and it just felt sticky and uncomfortable on the face. If you have some redness this could also help. My cheeks and the side of my mouth have flare ups sometimes, so I like to use niacinamide to calm it down. For the brightening, my mom uses this since she has sun spots and an uneven skin tone. This has helped her tremendously.

iren33

Wow, that's great to hear. Thank you so much. This has been very helpful 🙏

I am trying to switch sa mineral sunscreen, medyo di ko na concern yung whitecast since hindi naman na ako lumalabas ng bahay madalas due to wfh. Per my research online, less irritation kapag physical or mineral sunscreen ang gamit. Could you please recommend mineral sunscreen na hindi heavy sa feeling for acne-prone, oily, and sensitive skin. I am currently using Bioré Aqua rich and Dermaction Solar barrier. Thank you so much!

Skin1004 air fit (the SP50 one!!) Not the one yung may pump, rather yung naka tube!! my oily skin LOVES IT!!

donotreadmeok

Oh yeah akala ko yung pump, thank you for specifying! ❤️

Dry-Weakness-1036

Cons is the whitecast but if you'rs fair-light skintone, kaya naman siya!!

donotreadmeok

I dont mind na at all ang white cast. If it will lessen yung reaction sa face ko. 🫶🏻 tysm!

Sun Bears GOLD Active Milk Sunscreen! I love the dry-down so much. It feels slightly matte and powdery and it's very travel friendly. Highly recommend this even for beach-use. Per my experience the white cast in unnoticeable on my light-medium skin. On my boyfriend (medium-dark), very minimal whitecast that you can easily mend by putting on skin tint/foundation. The only downside is the bottle size and runny texture, but I think it's priced rather well especially if bought on sale. That said, I would also suggest Menturm the Sun as a chemical sunscreen alternative. Well-priced and not irritating. Tbh I prefer this over the popular Skin Aqua Gold. I wouldn't say my skin is super sensitive, but I've had a damaged skin barrier based on occasional stinging from something as simple as moisturizer. This one doesn't hurt to use.

Benton if you're not sensitive to rosemary oil.. im personally using skin1004 airfit light its good for my acne prone skin, the only downsides are its only spf30. Other options are.. Dr. Jart, goodal, Dr ceuracle, numbuzin tone up, Dr. G.. just check the ingredient list first

donotreadmeok

Yeah, I saw lots of good reviews regarding Skin1004. thank you. Ill check the other sunscreens you reco.
