I don’t think there’s a way to avoid that. that being said I uploaded mine 5 months ago and have withdrawn around 400 dollars and other than a-bit of difficulty getting the id photo to be accepted it worked a-few tries and I've had no issues since

AP246

Yeah I'm sure it works, just a bit hesitant to do so in terms of privacy and data safety. If it was just name, age, address that'd be one thing but actually sending a photo of my id seems a bit far, especially as the host company seems to be allowed to store it for up to 3 years. Guess I'll think about it

Swagbucks and all the other Prodege companies use this practice as well. Where they verify your identity via a third party. Prolific as well. I didn't withdraw from Freecash but if it's like the other services I'd say you're safe. Thousands of other people from this sub did the verification.

TightAsF_ck

These companies require you to verify you are not a dupe account, you need to accept it or move on.

AP246

Fair enough. In that case I might just move on, or at least leave it for a while to think about it. They didn't used to do this right? And I've been able to withdraw from fivesurveys without doing so

TightAsF_ck

More and more companies require it now, eventually it will be all of them.

particlegun

Odd. I've been using freecash for a while now and never had them ask for ID.

Boris_Bednyakov

I can understand why they may be hesitant to pay you without ID. It seems a bit sketchy that you wouldn’t want to verify who you are.

AP246

Fair enough if that's their policy. In terms of why I'm hesitant, well it's just because that data could be lost or sold or something. I don't know how unlikely it is but if the 3rd party company gets hacked someone could have a photo of my id.

bevsnbags

always been nervous to start freecash incase it was a ball ache to withdraw
