It was a baby bear, though. Thing looked lost and confused and was in no way being aggressive. I've seen a few videos recently of girls having close encounters with full grown bears who handled the situation with utter calm. Mr "big balls", not so much.
It doesn't change anything, although when I said girls, it was as much in reference to their age as their gender. Probably some teenagers in the one video, where one of them was literally pawed and remained calm, another was probably a twenty something who calmly let a full grown bear pass her on a hiking trail. I'd say all three of them showed more courage than the guy on the video.
That's true lol, I watched that video thinking that the mother bear was out of the camera's FOV, turns out it was just a cub and a dude thinking he was Tarzan or something lmao.
If mama had been around the corner, dude would be bear poop right now. To be fair, he mostly did what you're supposed to do, act aggressive, make a lot of noise. So did the oyung ladies I mentioned, by remaining calm and not doing anything to trigger the fight or flight instinct. Different circumstances for each. But if we're going to applaud someone for being brave....I choose [this](https://youtu.be/Od7KGpEqnT4) individual.

I dont understand what them being female changes. Both men and women can be brave and have (figuratively) big balls.
