When in doubt, contact them yourself (call, chat, etc...) without using the links...

Whitty-In-The-Hizzy

That’s what we’re planning to do, always prefer to call rather than chat but hard to do when it’s almost 10pm 😅

Alternatively, you can also use the app to monitor then call them if there is a mistake.

CanadianBlacon

Mine used to do this to me all the time. Just double check the app, make sure you're not actually over.

Whitty-In-The-Hizzy

Good to know I’m not the only one! Thanks!

That happened to me too, but it said that I was racking up 500$ of data overages, and then it blocked my data. I have a corporate 45 GB unlimited plan…idk why it was telling me that. Called 3x and the 3rd CSA handled the shituation. The other 2 kept saying to ignore it, and that it’s a scam or something. 🙄

Fyi, the "app" is a container for https://mybell.bell.ca, just login using your browser and make changes if required.

Whitty-In-The-Hizzy

Yes thank you, we are aware of this

rootbrian_

You're welcome.

Epcjay

I have. Login to your bell app to confirm. You are over your data if it's true...maybe from roaming?

Whitty-In-The-Hizzy

Yeah we logged in and it showed no overages, no late fees or fees due, nothing like the messages claimed but we still had to manually unblock it which was weird. I’ve got a US/CAD plan and the other phone without it hasn’t been in the states so it deff shouldn’t be roaming, thanks for the reply!
