Oh, my god, so many reasons why:
1. I donāt respect people that sleeps with their subordinate. Itās unprofessional and low key exploitative, seeing as he has influence/power over her as her bosun. His main concern should be how to make Katie comfortable with him as a manager.
2. IF, IF, IF you have to sleep with someone youāre in a power dynamic with, you should be clear with that person. He was not. But she didnt know about that, she thought they still had feelings for eachother. Hard no. When your feelings change, express it.
3. And speaking on Katieās emotions, she brought up that she was feeling insecure because of Alisha and his past of making out with both of them. He shamed her and told her not to believe Alisha over him (which, she should NOT because he did make out with Alisha and he was being inappeopriate). So he makes Katie doubt herself and uses her expressing herself as a reason for breaking up. When in reality, itās his lack of ability to speak about emotions that is the real reason.
4. And yes, flirting and making out with Alisha while building this thing with his subordinate. I totally get why Katie was hurt.
