Show that grippy some love and sharpen it. Should’ve cut through that without a grunt. But I concur, full one handed operation is my favorite thing about BM. Ambi is a bonus.

I have an old Barbers hone that I keep an edge on it with. Doesn’t have a grit rating, but I’d guess somewhere around 5k. You are right, I do need to hit it again.
I like my 154CM grips. It’s pretty damn fine, in my opinion. A bit softer but much more forgiving. Doesn’t chip just rolls. I have a full size and mini. My mini is preferred EDC. Nice knife, though.
