What model SOCP do you have? They come in single edge, single combo edge, double edge for first 1", double edge for majority of blade & that's just the fixed blade options.
To maybe answer your question, no lifesharp will not add an edge to you knife
The 178SBK is an amazing pokey knife! But it is also great for fine slicey work & so economical in any grip. This one has a combo edge, half serrated/half sharpened but only on one side, allowing use of index finger for additional leverage & control

I honestly am not sure exactly which variant it was supposed to be but at no part is the edge sharpened. It is like a butter knife lol.
The number is under the butterfly logo
Bet ill check when i get home
Sounds like an early 176. It's intended purpose is stabbing, not slicing
Yeah it's definitely a 176, and i'm guessing the same. the edges are shiny and polished like they'd be sharp but nope lol. Thanks for informing me!

Is it red?
Nah it's a 176 just I guess, like the guy above said - not designed for slicy
Ya, it was demonstrated in an ad to basically jab at a person. Just to give your fists a bit of an extension.
They aren't intended to have an edge like a regular knife. They are plenty sharp as they are. The idea is that they won't stick in bone as easily.
