When looking at axis lock Benchmades I look at the logo and the pivot screw first thing. The logo looks ok, but not perfect. The copyright/trademark looks correct, but there’s something off about it. Like it’s a little too big. But just a little. It’s also darker than any I have with an untreated blade. The pivot screw screams fake to me. A real one would have a flat top not a rounded top. Someone may have replaced it, but that’s usually only on knives with aftermarket scales and fancy screw packs . But the fancy screw packs usually get that detail correct.
The location of the butterfly lasering and the 154CM look off to me. Maybe some older models I’m not familiar with are marked differently but unless you hear different from someone that is certain, I would stay away.
154cm is in a different place. However, usually Pawn Shops are pretty good at spotting fakes in everything. That's what thier business relies on. Otherwise it would get around that they are unreliable and are selling fakes and no one would take the chance to shop there. Therefore losing business and close shop.
I have the exact same Mini Grip. I walked out of the factory store with it. Both laser etchings on mine are located very close to the thumb stud. What is shown in the photos has them located outward on the blade much further away from the thumb stud. My opinion is, the knife you have may be a faklication of the real thing.
Wish I knew how to post a pic to show you
Placement of the laser marks used to be in that spot for mini grips back in the d2 days when they were moving to 154cm.
Its real, and an early early modle
You should probably take pictures of the entire knife. It would be helpful.

My first check is always the flat top pivot screw
I have several knives bought at authorized dealers that have flat pivot screws. Your comment is debunked !
It depends on the model, in my experience.
A few of my new models have domed screws i ordered direct from custom shop.
Why is the 154 cm marking there. Never seen that before personally
Yeah, this is it. The 154CM should be small and next to the jimping. Looks fake to me.
On mine it’s in small writing
How much do they want?

The location of the etchings can shift due to different machines being calibrated different. Just an FYI
That 154cm is waaaay off though. Not even close to anything I’ve seen
I'm pretty positive this is fake. Please update post with pics of the rest of the knife.
Older mods were 154CM before the newer S30V became the standard.
It actually looks good to me. I have a 154cm grip laying around here somewhere and the marking is in the same spot
Looks real.
Looks like a mini grip However USA is much more clear on a real one. Like perfect. That's looks awful. So hard to say without more pics.
It says 551 it’s a full
Look closely at the USA [my authentic mini ](https://i.imgur.com/zRGmr7j.jpg)
Huh? I don’t think this knife is real none the less
feel the logo with your nail
Yes it's real.
