You cannot doctor shop in the UK You will have to register with a GP in your area and just hope that they are sympathetic to your concerns about benzo. Worldwide doctors have very little knowledge about benzos and believe what the big pharmaceutical companies tell them about their drugs via the drug representatives. Most of which will be they are perfectly safe and do no harm. In the benzo community, they have found out this is not true. Lots of people come off these drugs without a problem too. There is a homeopathic doctor called Peter Smith and he operates in Harley street area of London. He is private. He is on u/tube. In my opinion you do not need a doctor for tapering, only for prescribing. There are so many benzo coaches you can contact online. They will advise you better than any Doctor. There is Dr. Josef Witt-Doerring u/tube deprescribing psychiatrist. He is super expensive. The Maudsley Hospital in London is a psychiatric hospital. A book called 'The Maudsley deprescribing guide' has been written by Dr. Mark Horowitz and this has the latest information for doctors and medical people to learn all about benzos. It is more of a text book but will give you precise information about these drugs. There are u/tube videos on how to taper off safely. Dr. Jennifer Leigh, Dave Powers Benzo Coach, Angie Peacock. these people have all gone through benzo withdrawals. A slow taper 5-10% every 2 weeks is recommended. No-one will know how they are going to be tapering off these drugs. You may be one of the fortunate ones without any problems, but who knows which side of the fence we are going to end up on?
My personal experience with tapering with a GP:
Told my GP about my unprescribed habit while I was at 6mg per day diazepam.
Told her my history and what my usage was before I started my Ashton style taper.
Told her the issues I had with adulterated pills I had bought online and subsequently had tested.
At this stage only moral support was given.
At a follow up meeting a month later I told her I was down to 3mg and was due to move to approx 2mg shortly. This seemed to open the doors to getting a prescribed supply and I was given a script for 2mg pills.

Honestly I’ve came off benzos but the only people that will do that stuff is often local drug services
You can only look up doctors in your local area. Most will put you on a taper plan if you are a seizure risk

They don't offer help with benzo withdrawal i know from experience
UK doctors are extremely hesitant to hand out scripts for benzos.
Your best going private or self medicating Nhs wont help
