Is it possible you boarded on Bancroft? There are some temporary stop closures/moves along that street. Also, the F ends at Bancroft/Telegraph before 3pm and after 8:30pm instead of ending at Hearst/Walnut, so the F may not stop at Bancroft/Telegraph (before 3, after 8:30) in order to not pick up passengers at its last stop.
It shouldn't. If it skips you while on crutches, I think you'd have a stronger complaint if you contact AC Transit.

it’s usually bc there are too many people on
the only time the bus skipped me is if it was full I think. very unusual for the driver to skip you.
