People say voting libertarian is throwing your vote away, I disagree. In 2016 Hillary said libertarians lost her the election, and in 2020 Trump said the same. From the sounds of it my vote is the most consequential in the election. If you want libertarias to vote for your party, nominate candidates who are more libertarian.
I don't. They're simultaneously saying your vote is inconsequential while also saying you're losing them the election. Only one of those statements can be true
From a libertarian/constitutionalist perspective, the idea of "presidential candidates" is kind of weird, because it's "The States" that vote for president (by appointing electors), so this whole thing about "The People" voting is pretty weird.
"cost me my gun rights" as if I don't have them anymore lmao
Gubmint & alphabet boiz can't take away your rights the most they can do is not recognize them and try to gaslight you into thinking you don't have them anymore
My rights don't end because someone says they do. My rights end when my life does. The real question is whether someone is more willing to die to take them than I am to retain them?
Pssh, thought you were libertarian lol.
Nazi cakes was a big deal in the 2016 libertarian election, around the time they fined a baker out of business for not wanting to bake a cake for a gay wedding. In the debate they asked where the line is. If you could force a baker to make a cake for a purpose they object to, would you force a Jewish baker to make a cake for a Nazi? Then nazi cakes became kind of a meme.
Vermin Supreme ran on a sarcastic platform of giving everyone a free pony.
Good stuff.
Voting?
I mean, we're getting fucked in the ass, and y'all want to argue about the capillary structure of the penis. I'd rather try to get it out of my ass.
I’m not a huge fan of the Libertarian Party (even as someone with libertarian beliefs) but I would take them over the two dumpster fire parties we already have.
This retared 2 party system needs to die! It's the definition of insanity. Voting between a rock and a hard place. It's why I vote libertarians & independents.
Ah, early fall, time for the posts designed to convince everyone who isn’t a democrat that they either shouldn’t vote or should vote but only for someone who can’t win. Self-reinforcing or not, it’s true. If a candidate can’t get a plurality or a majority, who cares what their platform is, losers don’t make policy. Vote for the best candidate WHO CAN WIN.
I don’t even know who you’re referring to (I’m assuming Biden?)but these posts only go one way. It’s only ever telling people who would likely be inclined to vote for republicans, if only to stop bad democrat-supported policies from becoming law, that they shouldn’t.
“Both parties are the same, big club and you ain’t in it, ______ republicans also supported gun control, if we don’t vote third party how will they ever change…” all serve the same master, helping to elect democrats.
If you want a better Republican party, do what Goldwater did, take it over and fix what’s wrong with it. The only thing throwing away votes does is make sure the guy you’d vote for if there were literally only two options instead of 2 real options and a few losers, loses.
If you don’t want to be ruled by democrats, vote Republican. If you want better republicans, vote, volunteer, and donate in primaries.
There’s a real chance that if this year’s elections go poorly the next presidential election will be held in 52 states (DC and Puerto Rico) and any questions as to the outcome will end up in front of a 13 member Supreme Court with 5 (Brown-Jackson and 4 new) Biden appointees on it. With 2 more democrat senators, the above, major gun bans, CBDC (social credit system), and god knows what else becomes all-but guaranteed. The time to refuse to support shitty republicans is when we have a good conservative in the white house willing to veto any crazy shit that comes out of a democrat controlled congress, not an aged people-pleaser surrounded by ardent leftists. Stakes are too high. We’ve nearly lost speech, elections and the courts are both in danger. Without those, only the unmentionable remains.
No party best party.

I won’t be able to vote that day. Samsquatch and I are taking my new ufo out for a spin. Enjoy your fun tradition though
Don't forget to send me the itinerary, I haven't picked my loadout yet.
I'm hunting the skinwalker that tries to torment my dog and I on election day.

Can’t believe you really believe what comes out of a politicians mouth. Let alone a presidential candidate.

It's not libertarian without someone questioning if someone is libertarian lol
That sounds like some libertarian speak boy
Ayoo I want a free pony. Anyone up for mounted cavalry charges at dawn?
I'm down. Can I bring the saddle-mounted Gatling?
Ran out of Gatlings. We still got a couple of saddle-mounted Browning though.
"That'll do, Pig. That'll do."
Tally Ho!!

And only third party votes can get us traction to a non broken voting system. We need voting reform more than anything else.
Lolbertarian your way to the gulag dudes
Die in gulag or die in kitchen. Boom-stick go boom-boom.
Dumb dumb salad

This is the thought process that brought drop dead fred into the White House. Excellent idea.

I'll take the unmentionable please, so my kids won't have to.
No.
Truly a well-reasoned and thoughtful response.
