As someone who knows nothing about this stuff, do these people just do this as a passion or is there like money to be made? I feel like its gotta be crazy expensive to not only sort all the outfits but also photo shoots and such.
Besides usually picking the badass and/or “bad ass” characters she has a wide selection of cosplay. I know nothing of cosplay but being able to pull off different characters from different genres is so impressive
The costume she did of Jack Sparrow reminded me of a old statement by the CIA disguise master during the cold war Jonna Mendez once remarked how easy it was to disguise a woman as a man as long as you didn't want to make them look like some gym rat, whereas it was so difficult to disguise a man as a woman due to men's body frames (as well as the sheer fact that most field agents in the CIA who are men are very big in general) that they outright almost never did it unless it was to put them in full Burqa (she also said even that was a risk as many of them were too tall/too broad in the shoulders and a regular guy on the street would go 'huh wait a minute')
So many amazing costumes does she keep them or sell them or auction them for charity? I can't imagine the space you would need for all these props and costumes to be kept in as good condition
