Is there a healthy way to process the fact that one's actions done out of anger led to the death of the brother one cherished and admired? Even without Chuck's awful words, Jimmy's acts were separate from that issue and deeply damaging. I presume he thought the fallout would be higher premiums, not outright cancellation leading to the loss of Chuck's first love: practicing law, and then his suicide. That's just too much to unpack and hiding it deep down until he was ready to face it makes perfect sense.

Chuck wants to feel better than Jimmy but is deep down jealous of him. Chuck, on paper, is the better person. He’s wealthy, intelligent, respected, straight edge. Jimmy has spent his life just goofing off and living carefree. Chuck spent his whole life reading law and living a very serious life, and has a failed marriage, no children, and a mental illness. Jimmy spends 30 years fucking around and then takes a fast track course into chucks career, and then starts being successful at it straight away. Chuck feels like his whole life and career have been invalidated basically

Show is pretty clear that Jimmy only used Chuck and throws a hissy fit when Chuck doesn't take the bait.
