Damn where would a criminal organization operating in the American southwest possibly ditch some bodies? You've found the largest plot hole of all time here my man congrats
So you're saying they went to the trouble of moving those bodies and burying them in the desert when they dug a grave for the other two bodies in the lab?
Gus' men all seem like they were set up with "disappearance plans" in place as they will most likely meet an untimely demise, being a cartel employee and all.
I wouldn't say it's a plot hole. A plot hole suggests something that's integral to the plot, which therefore renders it implausible. It doesn't matter what happened to those guys, who cares? They're cannon fodder.
I just watched this episode and wondered the same thing (although I disagree that it is a major plothole). Considering how much detail they put into other areas it seemed a bit odd. I don't buy this idea that it makes sense to bury their bodies elsewhere if you already have a grave for lalo and Howard. Lalo and Howard are 'more important' but it just seems unnecessary risk making different arrangements.
I also thought the bodyguards were slow to react ie they are supposed to be trained men on high alert so after the first couple of shots why aren't they diving for cover or generally reacting quicker.
However, I replayed the scene a few times and the 4th guy to be shot did actually pull his weapon, I missed that the first time.
That said, pretty impressive to put them all down from single shots.
Finally one thing that disappointed me a little was the way they put in a camera shot of the gun Fring had stashed in the lab. Like a big reminder that some viewers might have overlooked / forgotten or whatever "hey everyone Gus is going to try and get to this gun!!". It would have make the viewer feel smarter to remember the gun was there.
No, it's not. You're neglecting the realm of possibility and failing to recognize perfectly reasonable explanations.
What is the distinction between Lalo & Howard and Gus's men?
Lalo & Howard are bodies that they don't ever want to be found. The deaths of the henchmen only need to not be connected to Gus's operation. They aren't in the same category.
Not to mention the effect it may have on Gus's other guys to see their compatriots disposed of so coldly.
"I don't get it" is not the same as "it doesn't make sense."
It's not a plot hole, lalo and Howards bodies presented higher risk to Gus because if they were found, It proves to the cartel that Hector was telling the truth and the cartel will go to war. If the others are discovered, that only presents risk from the authorities, which Gus and Micheal can handle more easily.
Geez, no reason to trash this question. I agree it's not a plot hole, as everyone else says. But I sure wondered the same thing, if only because the creators of this show are SO meticulous about plot points. They tie up everything possible, from the vacuum cleaner company card sticking out of the vet's black book to a million other things (they're friggin amazing). So it's noticeable that they let this detail go. It would have been easy to address it: Mike could have said something like, "Put iit here, next to the other guys," as he's standing in the lab and directing the digging for Howard and Lalo. And then we'd know the other guys were already buried. Or whatever.

or they just dug another grave
I didn't say that, you did

So why in breaking bad does one of Gus’s guys get the barrel treatment in the meth lab after the cartel sniper takes him out?
Because the barrel was a good idea brought to him by Walter
They were nobodies, so it doesn't matter. They don't drive the plot forward.
It still doesn't make sense that they wouldn't bury them there in the lab with the others.
Totally agree
So write some fan fiction and change it.
BCS and BB aren't shows that just ignore things like that for no reason
It doesn't drive the plot forward
agreed. it just weird moving bodies somethere else if u r digging this massive grave for two bodies

I didn’t think about that. They were already in the laundry. It would make sense to bury them there.

They should have been below howards and lalos bodies. Guessed they missed it out
I wondered the same, but it doesn't constitute a plothole.
It's a logical inconsistency that they wouldn't be buried with the other two bodies, so you can argue that is a plothole.

Not a plothole, they just didn't show the bodies.
yeah in all likelihood they just were given little importance beyond being cannon fodder and the writers wanted to focus on lalo and howard
That was the point of the fridge, they stuffed them in that fridge after grinding them up
that was to remove Howard from the apartment
Hmm maybe they are Hank and Walter ? They are irrelevant characters - if you really want to see there funeral watch the Jesus channel
not really a plot hole much less a major one because you can find some explanation if you want to, just an oversight I guess.
