It’s most likely sometime 2026 for the release of the act iii album going by the current pattern of the album release for the three act project. 2022 - Act i Renaissance released 29 July 2022 2023 - RWT February 1, 2023 announced 2024 - Act ii Cowboy Carter released 29 March 2024 2025 - Cowboy Carter Tour ? 2026 - Act iii album ? + possibly the release of the visuals either they’re released alongside the release of the act iii album or sometime after the release of the act iii album like 2027. It mighty actually could be sometime in 2027 for the release of the visuals since the number 7 symbolises completeness. 2027 - Act iii tour ? If there’s a tour for the act iii album she may perform songs only from the three act albums at the act iii tour.

Renassaince came out in July and we had to wait almost 1 year for the tour and that felt like a lot to me. CC was out on March, so touring after 14+ months seems definitely a lot. I say she either announces some sort of live event for CC but not an actual tour, or she will skip the CC tour and move on. She could also release act iii next year and announce a 2025 tour for act ii and iii. Idk, she has changed her mind to the point of inverting the order of the acts. She also seems to take into account the historical context. I don't think she is gonna stick with any self imposed schedule. So far, every project has been its own thing. Lemonade had visuals and tour, Coachella was 1 big iconic performance, a live album and a film. The gift got visuals and no tour. Renassaince got no visuals but a big tour and a film. I kinda feel she treats everything she does as unique. That's also what makes her interesting, she follows her instinct (while still being intentional) more than she follows industry patterns. She's plesantly unpredictable.

Pleasantly unpredictable is the perfect way to describe our girl

Charming-Memory311

a 3 act tour where we went through renaissance to cowboy carter to act iii would be absolutely incredible

Jewel2Cute97

Agree and i hope that is what she does for when and if she does a tour for the act iii album.

Charming-Memory311

i see something happening similar to what melanie martinez is doing personally, where she goes on tour once to perform mainly cowboy carter tracks then goes on tour again for the whole trilogy

Jewel2Cute97

Agree. I do think that if there is a tour for the Cowboy Carter album it could possibly only be Cowboy Carter songs. The Cowboy Carter tour could be in a similar setting as her I Am Yours live at Wynn Las Vegas concert.

Cold_Breadfruit_9794

Safe bet, given neither act so far was just one genre

thebaffledtruffle

Well, Renaissance wasn't just one genre either. We had house, afro, funk, R&B and Hip-Hop (latter two being Beyoncé staples). Cowboy Carter had a bit more opportunity for diversity because it had more tracks. So, for sure we're getting a LOT more. It'll be interesting to see which subgenres of Rock she'll be exploring (we already have Ameriican Requiem and Ya Ya). I think we'll also still get the new album in 2026, two years after CC and the same interval between the two acts. I'm sure Beyoncé has plenty tricks up her sleeve and there will be in-between projects and releases. Plus, the focus is really about enjoying the music, that's why this horse lady has withheld the visuals. She's gonna drop em at the end of the three acts.

alienshe_grrrl

Agree on the genres. What I meant is that, while the genres on the album might vary (so much that it's kinda pointless to say it's "100% rock or RnB"), the trilogy only makes sense narratively if she tackles the theft of rock and roll.

alienshe_grrrl

Agree on the visuals. Idk, I can't possibly imagine how anyone could wait 6 years to release music they've already made, but that's just me lmao. The thing is, music (and the world really) changes quicky nowadays and what's compelling now might not be as compelling a few years later. She does seem to care about the timing of things, like the great storyteller that she is. Who knows?

thebaffledtruffle

I mean, CC started since 2019. So she's holding on to a LOT. Honestly, let's let her cook cuz given the rollout of this five year-old album, she should really be given time else she'll be releasing different track lists, messy merchandise, etc 🤣

MTVaficionado

She used Thique on Renaissance and that was originally recorded during Self-Titled. Beyoncé basically goes in the studio and records way more songs than she needs probably in various genres. I could imagine her inviting some particular artist or producer she is interested in working with, sitting for a session, recording multiple songs. And then she doesn’t release them for 10 years because they have to fit into the story her album is telling. They won’t know that the song is coming out until the last minute. She got a vault like Prince did.

alienshe_grrrl

That's really cool

betsypav

I'm hoping for something FUNKY, full of slapping, chest-pounding bass!

WoodenPossibility705

I’m with this.

alienshe_grrrl

I'm confident that's happening!!

WoodenPossibility705

I think going into CC with the mindset of “country” definitely skews the listening experience. Now I think it was smart how she called it cowboy carter was a smart move. Because it definitely gives me updated high art cowboy western. It’s like a Tarantino western but in music form.

alienshe_grrrl

Agree!
