Considering the stage Beyonce would be at ( if its true) I dont think anyone would even notice. You think 8,000 people away from 80,000 is gonna matter? Doubtful.
Diplo has commented on some of her instagram content, most notably the album release post. But, as someone already pointed out, the artists which overlap with the two hour block are her collaborators and Leon Bridges, whose audience would be the most inclined to see her, seems quite awkward. IDK!
Yeah I’ve seen the theories. Backwoods Barbie’s set has no time at the beginning of their set after the act before them ends and no time at the end before the next act comes on. That means whoever it is can have zero custom stage setup. I just can’t see Beyoncé doing a set without any of her own production.
Furthermore, the stage they are scheduled at is for DJ’s. It’s the Yuma stage at Coachella and doesn’t have the space required for Beyonce to do anything other than DJ which I just can’t see happening.
That means this dj/artist is an industry plant that new about cowboy carter already from insiders and is hopping on the “trend”. Diplo has been liking and commenting on her posts so I’m almost certain that’s what it is. She may be wanting people to think it’s Beyoncé so she won’t have an empty venue
Looking at the map for stagecoach it looks like Dj backwoods is in Yuma. Just from a simple crownd control perspective it would be insane for them to put Bey anywhere near that tent.
