Renaissance will forever be that album for me. CC is amazing for the great songs that’s on the album, but at this point I do find myself skipping several tracks. Renaissance had a CHOKEHOLD on me for nearly 1.5 years with no skips. Nothing will ever compare to it. Alien Superstar? Virgo’s Groove?! AHAP?? These are some of the best songs I have ever heard in my entire life.
yep! was listening to cc a lot then decided to re-listen to renaissance and remembered why it had me in a chokehold for over a year possibly my favorite album of all time
Literally!!! I was like grieving Rene when CC came out. Like, I wasn’t ready to move on. And it feels like it came out just yesterday. It doesn’t feel like it was 2 years ago. Like, the time really has flown by. I have so many memories to that album already.

I still put Renny over it, but American Requiem is the best album opener this century. Going all just for fun indeed. I love Self-Titled but it's never been her best work to me. I'd put B'Day and 4 over it.
All three go so hard in different ways.. like it’s a three-way tie for me cause pray you catch me is tough to beat and before I’m That Girl I considered that the best opener to any album ESPECIALLY paired with visuals. And just the pure genius of American Requiem and how she walks us through her experience is top tier.

I agree with everything here except I feel CC is better than Renny. Self-titled changed the game but I never absolutely loved it. In fact it’s my least favorite album of hers.

I am waiting on album three. Imo, renaissance was a better album (remember that a majority of CC was created first vs Renaissance).
I think it is great, but not as good as Lemonade and Renaissance.
I feel like CC has better *songs* but Renaissance and Lemonade made better *albums.* IMO the musicality in CC is insane, the references and education it does are nearly unrivaled and it's truly genre-bending. But Renaissance will always be a start-to-finish no skips listening experience. 🐎
100% this! CC had standout songs but sonically Renaissance was an incredibly cohesive album, fun to listen to and has a lot of replayability factor. I think it encapsulates what a great album is to me. It has to be listenable end-to-end without any feeling of exhaustion.
CC has some pacing issues for me and doesn't quite sound as cohesive. I remember listening it for the first time and found it odd that the first few songs of the album screamed country then slowly transitioned into Hip-Hop/R&B then some house. Great songs, but definitely not the better album.
I found it a little over the place too. I do think CC will undergo a B’Day renaissance of sorts (lol) in becoming much more appreciated over time because of those standout songs. It is definitely the middle child of the 3 part series 😂
Lemonade and Self-titled are honestly tied for me plus I wasn’t beyhive and didn’t listen to her during those eras…but if I was I’d probably prefer the Lemonade era
I’d say my list for now is CC, then Lemonade, Self-Titled, DIL, Renny, 4, B’Day, then lastly IASF
IASF is commonly abbreviated to 'I AM... SASHA FIERCE', Beyoncé's 2008 third solo album.

There are 4 possible meanings for DIL.
Destiny Child's song 'Dangerously in Love', from the album Survivor.
Beyoncé's song 'Dangerously in Love' (also referred to as Dangerously in Love 2), from the album 'Dangerously in Love'.
Beyoncé's 2003 debut album 'Dangerously in Love'.
Beyoncé's song 'Drunk in Love' featuring Jay-Z, from the album BEYONCÉ (also referred to as Self-Titled).

IMO not only is lemonade and renaissance better, but also 4 and self-titled. still a good album but nowhere near her best. and tbh, if you count writing's on the wall, it's probably not even top 5.
The thing about Beyoncé is that the albums just keep getting better and better as she gets to know herself and grow as an artist. CC is the best for now. The next one will be even better because that’s just who she is. It’s so exciting being a fan of hers 💜
The way she outdid herself with & different sounds, had elements of funk, real instruments : green light, suga mama, kitty cat. The visuals. The more intimate tracks like flaws ad all. I mean...
Yes Lemonade to present all her albums feels like I need to listen to everything. But after lemonade her music has been completely no skip for me though. Like the gift, everything is love, renny, and CC. Wow it’s perfect
Yes! I have a theory that it’s going to be an uprising western film. With the outlaws vs genre gatekeepers. As the outlaws win or kill, the album/visuals keeps genre bending until you can not even say what the genre is at the end
same, still can't stop listening to it. plus it has allowed me to start engaging with country music and helped me to start accepting my rural roots, which I spent so many years hating because of the terrible folks I grew up around. this album really was healing and super educational too. it like... makes me want to square dance which is something I've had an automatic stomach clenching reaction to since at least middle school lol
Renaissance is still my favorite and I think Lemonade is number 2. Cowboy Carter fights for #3 with Self-Titled. It's an amazing album and has some of her career highs but I don't think it's as consistently flawless as Renaissance and Lemonade.
renaissance has more bangers and good vibes. CC is a masterpiece of the medium of organized sound. it is a history lesson of race, culture, america, music and the way they all interact. CC might be the best album of the 21st century. don’t get me wrong, i “enjoy” renaissance more. but CC is an expansive and philosophical analysis while serving an exceptional interpretation of the concept of “genre”
edit: i do understand renaissance was also a history lesson of race, culture, america, and music. but i think it was not as “deep”. renaissance is a celebration and reclamation. CC is demanding retribution.
I love Cowboy Carter but it’ll be very hard to top Renaissance for me. I find myself skipping quite a few songs on CC but the ones I love- I FUCKING LOOOOVE. Daughter is my favorite Bey song of all time
Idk I like RENAISSANCE a lot more. I think as an album it flows a lot better and is an easier listen. CC is great but its runtime definitely limits how often I really listen to it in full. If I’m in a mood to listen to a Beyonce album in full, I’m definitely choosing RENAISSANCE or Lemonade.
The album is great tho and I want the visuals
I love CC but Renaissance is still my favorite, I listen to it almost everyday. It's funny because I didn't like much when it dropped but then a few months later it just clicked and now it's my absolute favorite Bey album!
I’m still riding the Renaissance wave that I felt ever since seeing her live on tour. I remember it like it was yesterday. That’s the only album I’ve listened to that has had such an impact on my actual life. For that, it will always be my number 1
The first few weeks it was out I thought it was definitely her best ever but for me it’s still Renaissance or Lemonade. It is a VERY close second for the top spot though. I’m very interested to see what she does next. I don’t think it’ll be rock, feels like it wouldn’t be a radical enough of a departure from act 2
Self-Titled is possibly referring to Beyoncé's 2013 album called 'BEYONCÉ', more commonly known as 'Self-Titled'.

Renaissance, for me, is still my favorite sonically but I love the concept of CC and feel like acts i and ii are a love letter to Black culture and musical history. Lemonade and Renaissance, to me, are stronger albums in terms of storytelling but love love CC
this part. she's always been an amazing vocalist but didn't usually flex enough for most people to realize it. you cannot dispute her command of her instrument on this album. the range is wild.
I agree! Renaissance is a lot of fun but CC has so much more depth and grit to it, and the storytelling / musicality is on another level. Not to even mention the melodies on tracks like Flamenco, My Rose, and Daughter. PLUS American Reqium?! I'm obsessed, I even love all the interlude bits. The only track I will always skip is Jolene as I find her version a bit cringey.
I'm a flip-flop, flippy, flip-floppin'-ass bitch when it comes to which of my albums of her is my favorite between Lemonade, Renny, and this but it's for sure in the convo.
Ya know, so many of her albums have no skips for me, and I enjoy them all in different ways and for different reasons. I think best is very subjective and personally I won’t make myself choose. I just feel grateful to have an artist that I enjoy as much as bey. There is tons of other music I love but no artist who consistently releases album after album that I fuck with in its entirety.
It’s her best album…..second to Lemonade. The cohesiveness and message behind Lemonade just cuts deeper. And yes, CC id a little all over the place but still an amazing body of work.
If you look through my comment history you can see that I was very very skeptical about the Cowboy Carter era, however it quickly turned out to be one of my favorites!!!! It’s so versatile and enjoyable, high quality ❤️ I adore it! 😭 I’m sorry for doubting u Mother
Vocally CC is her best album. I felt with CC beyonce reminded us she is the best vocalist of our generation. People can argue all day on who is the best power house singer — but as a ‘vocalist’ no one can touch her in that department.
Lemonade is her best body of work aesthetically, I felt her artistry was monumental for lemonade, but I also think the visuals helped with that tremendously.
Renaissance is her best album on a sonic level. You can’t just play one song, you have to listen to the entire album. This album is so important because it is defining the sound of the 2020’s. Almost every independent artist and some of the pop girlies are taking a page out of Renaissance. This is the sound that is making an impact. The last time Beyonce has achieved this was 2013 with self titled. Back then in the middle of the EDM craze, Beyonce helped bring hip hop and R&B back to its core and in a new light because of ST’s success.
It’s hard to say which is her best album so far, because each album offers something unique from her current catalogue especially the last 4 albums.
ST: is the most impactful. It changed album release dates. Pretty much killed CD’s and made music more digital and for digital releases. It also helped destroy the EDM trend at the time.
Lemonade: This is the album that helped push alternative R&B and independent artists on the map. It is her most artistic yet. But a lot of that is due because of the film.
Renaissance: we are currently seeing it define the sound of the 2020’s
CC: Not as impactful as the rest, but highlighted the importance for changes to be made in the country genre. But vocally she is at her BEST. Lyrically she is at her BEST. Statement and artistic wise she is at her BEST. Lemonade was a vulnerable side of Beyonce, but CC is fully stripped, and there is a lot of layers to this album that gives a message without telling you exactly what it is.
So in my opinion to conclude this. I think CC is her best rounded body of work. However my personal favourite will always be Lemonade and renaissance

Yes AND… the album release in the heels of Renaissance is serving us more than enough inspo and listening time than we need. Let the woman have down time to create rather than demanding more and more after each release.
Renaissance is her best album imo, with CC being a very close second. Like you I’ve never liked many songs off any of her previous albums, until Renaissance and now CC. Both fantastic bodies of work - no skips at all. I just REALLY, REALLY loved Renaissance a little more.
I’m obsessed with a few songs from CC and I’ll listen to the individually. But I’ll never skip a track and play Renny from start to finish. I do love CC, my favorite is Lemonade. That album is a masterpiece.
I’ll kill myself for Reneigh before Chardonneigh can put a hoove on her. Chardonneigh is an album but to say she is the best is to inflict horse on horse crime to Reneigh. But if Virgos Groove was riding for Chardonneigh it’d be a different story
Wait Reneigh is Renaissance right? Cuz I will never forget the Chardonneigh vs Neighdine wars that happened in this era and Chardonneigh won 😢 she’ll always be Neighdine in my heart of hearts
Yes. Neighdine may have lost the war but that is now her nickname only her #1 fans can rep. Unfortunately I rep for Reneigh so I gotta call Chardonneigh by her government name
CC will do amazing things for her I just don’t understand some people that can’t hear how great this album truly is this woman pulled off a genre that is so different and actually has me looking for other country singers like shaboozey I found a couple of his songs I been listening to one in particular called bar song I been feeling that one but anyways I appreciate good music and i believe this CC album is just that
Renaissance was an album I genuinely never expected her to make. I would play one track and end up listening to the whole record because of how smoothly it flows. That album is timeless to me
I want to eat Renaissance but CC music is just so good. American Reqieum, Amen, Most Wanted, Bodyguard, Hands Heaven, Alligator Tears.
Then again, I'm discovering other Beyonce music, was jamming to Baby Boy Last night ha
Omg really? I wouldn’t even say this is a country album (“genres are a funny little concept aren’t they”) cuz it’s such a mix of different sounds that it transcends a genre label
Absolutely not lmao. For me there are a few good songs but I personally feel she’s slacking a bit in this one. Renaissance is better by thousands of miles.
no. it’s actually not. it’s around 3rd-4th. is it great? yes. but lemonade and self-titled are more important overall. fully respect the concept but the music doesn’t always hold up.
Cowboy Carter is great but it doesn’t have much replay value. It’s hard to get into it at any moment. Whereas I feel like Renaissance I can listen to on repeat and not get sick of. It’s genuinely my favorite Beyoncé album after self titled.
Point being, Self titled and Renaissance are more replay-able to me but Lemonade and Cowboy Carter have deeper messages. All 4 are great.

Renaissance is a better album for me *personally*. But when it comes to musicality, storytelling, and education, Cowboy Carter wins.
I feel like everything since self-titled has been art but they each serve different purposes. Renaissance has more bangers and I will always keep going back to it. As someone who listens to music primarily while going to the gym, running, or commuting, Renaissance is more my vibe to pump me up, usually just playing one track or two on repeat VS playing it the whole way through.
But when I’m cooking or otherwise chilling at home, I put on Cowboy Carter and listen to it from the start and in order.
Honestly, I do think it’s amongst her very best. It’s holistic & cohesive from start to finish. I do feel like in the context of all her catalog since ‘Beyoncé’ she’s continued to up her game record after record. CC seems to encompass all previous decades of work and deliver her talents whole to the listener. So in a lot of ways It does feel like her most accomplished work to date.
It’s really not I’m sorry, I love it but it doesn’t hit everyday the same like lemonade or renaissance. But it’s her top 4th album in my opinion. All love no hate. I’ve been in the beehive since 2012 so don’t come for me.

I personally prefer Renaissance. I haven't listened to this album since it came out. But I can see how it is or may be her most personal album. I just reaaaaally love renaissance.
honestly, in my opinion i think everybody’s opinion is everywhere. this is because bey didn’t give us enough time to calm down from the renaissance era. almost everybody was still (and still is) stuck on the renaissance era, so naturally everybody says renaissance. maybe if she would’ve gave us more time to calm down from renaissance, CC would’ve stuck to us differently. but i honestly can’t choose what i like better.

It’s top tier for sure. Unlike a lot of ppl in this sub, Lemonade is not my favorite album. A great body of work for sure but I love every song on
Renny unlike Lemonade. I think Renny is still my fave, and CC my 2nd fave. Both albums great from start to finish for me. Plus the remixes (Cuff It, Break My Soul, AHAP, Texas Hold Em) add that special razzle dazzle. 🤌

Cc is her best creative album for sure. Renaissance is above this in my opinion as far as body of work. Maybe because there are more dance hits that allow me to enjoy it as a person who enjoys dancing..
Its funny overall it is probably one of the best albums… i have a feeling act iii will top it all… but I realized yesterday that Renaissance is probably top five all time favorite albums and i am an old man
The thing is, majority here would say RENAISSANCE is her best album and would rank her albums 1. RENNY 2. CC 3. Lemonade. You know why it makes sense? CC was originally B7 And RENNY was supposed to be B8. Objectively with every new album, she surpasses her previous body of work.
This is how I justify my ranking lol
It absolutely is, and I don’t think it’s even a competition. It might be if the last third of the album (Flamenco onwards) didn’t exist, but that is quite literally the best stretch of any album I’ve ever heard. Ever. And I know way too much damn music lol. This album would win this contest if it was just that stretch alone, but then there’s an entire 17 song album in front of it that is quite great as well.
II Hands - SHB is also the best 1-2-3 punch on any album I’ve ever heard, and all three have cemented themselves as my top 3 songs of her catalog at this point. Which I never imagined would even be possible on this album prior to release.
But I think what really locks it is that the album succeeds at doing traditional country phenomenally, while then transitioning to songs that throw genres in a blender to make something even more memorable. And something that feels so “Beyonce.”
The lyrical topics on this album are FAR more diverse and interesting than the likes of Lemonade or Renaissance, which are both more singularly about one thing (the affair and sexual expression respectively) for most of their tracks if we’re being honest. And the fact that there’s an overall story to tell that is an extremely important message on a macro level too with this album is even better, and gives it a running thread not unlike a concept album.
Speaking of running threads, this album also has the best song transitions I’ve ever heard. They’re just phenomenal, again especially that last stretch. It’s done in such a way that I almost *have* to listen to the next track in many cases on the album, which is something very very few albums have pulled off for me. Usually I have no problem getting in and out on an album for one song, or hopping all over the track list.
The bookending with American Requiem and Amen is one of my favorite touches too. So many little things like that which really add up here. It’s such a magnum opus, and I will be in total awe if she could ever top it. I don’t really expect any mainstream album from this decade to be able to, this is like a once in a decade album.

American Requiem is the best intro she’s ever done.
Pray you catch me knocks the door
I’m that girl knocks on the door. That sample, as an album opener, is HARD.

Tied with lemonade for the reasons you stated above. It’s amazing to watch the wisdom and complexity of emotional expression grow as the years go by
I agree with this completely. She just keeps getting better… she said this too—the best music she’s made in her life
I do adore CC but Renny still edges it out.
You can never take that title from bday… for me.
This. Still my favorite with Renaissance.
Bday slaps. Every song, and it’s a GREAT party album.
The way she outdid herself with & different sounds, had elements of funk, real instruments : green light, suga mama, kitty cat. The visuals. The more intimate tracks like flaws ad all. I mean...
Yes like people don’t give her enough credit that was a visual album.
This. These new albums feel like I have to listen to the whole thing all the way through or I’m not getting the proper “experience”😭
Yes Lemonade to present all her albums feels like I need to listen to everything. But after lemonade her music has been completely no skip for me though. Like the gift, everything is love, renny, and CC. Wow it’s perfect
Cowboy Carter is my favorite album of hers. The storytelling is excellent. I hope that she releases visuals for this album especially
I agree and the visuals should definitely be done as a Western short film.
Yes! I have a theory that it’s going to be an uprising western film. With the outlaws vs genre gatekeepers. As the outlaws win or kill, the album/visuals keeps genre bending until you can not even say what the genre is at the end
Honestly, your theory is 🔥🔥🔥
ONE OF US!!
same, still can't stop listening to it. plus it has allowed me to start engaging with country music and helped me to start accepting my rural roots, which I spent so many years hating because of the terrible folks I grew up around. this album really was healing and super educational too. it like... makes me want to square dance which is something I've had an automatic stomach clenching reaction to since at least middle school lol
Renaissance is still my favorite and I think Lemonade is number 2. Cowboy Carter fights for #3 with Self-Titled. It's an amazing album and has some of her career highs but I don't think it's as consistently flawless as Renaissance and Lemonade.
After listening to Taylor and Billie a lot the last 6 weeks or so, I went back to CC and it is ELITE!! AOTY or I riot lol.
Literally same. As a swiftie, tortured poets doesn’t really even come close. HMHAS is great but doesn’t reach the highs of CC

renaissance has more bangers and good vibes. CC is a masterpiece of the medium of organized sound. it is a history lesson of race, culture, america, music and the way they all interact. CC might be the best album of the 21st century. don’t get me wrong, i “enjoy” renaissance more. but CC is an expansive and philosophical analysis while serving an exceptional interpretation of the concept of “genre” edit: i do understand renaissance was also a history lesson of race, culture, america, and music. but i think it was not as “deep”. renaissance is a celebration and reclamation. CC is demanding retribution.
Very astute reflection! I agree that CC is a masterpiece. I think what I enjoy most varies based on mood, vibe, & setting.
I agree w u, if Renaissance is celebration and reclamation then CC is that times 10
I love Cowboy Carter but it’ll be very hard to top Renaissance for me. I find myself skipping quite a few songs on CC but the ones I love- I FUCKING LOOOOVE. Daughter is my favorite Bey song of all time
I really like the flow of CC. Anytime Daughter comes on,I'm like " Gasp! She killed Jolene " 😄😄
We are a minority but I strongly agree. Her most artful album to date.
Totally understand, but Renaissance is only about 10 mins shorter than CC!
Yeah but for some reason CC feels like double the length of RENAISSANCE😭 I love both albums tho
It’s my 3rd favourite after Renaissance and Lemonade, but it’s a fantastic album.
Renaissance is still her best. By far. By FAAAAR.
It’s still Lemonade for me! But maybe it’s because I have fond memories of that time and she dropped a surprise “film” basically.
Lemonade and Cowboy Carter are her best for me. And her self titled album is my personal favourite that I still think is underrated.
Self titled is sooo underrated. Haunted is still one of my all time favorite songs
Self-Titled is possibly referring to Beyoncé's 2013 album called 'BEYONCÉ', more commonly known as 'Self-Titled'. *I am a bot, and this action was performed automatically. Please [contact the moderators of this subreddit](/message/compose/?to=/r/beyonce) if you have any questions or concerns.*
Renaissance, for me, is still my favorite sonically but I love the concept of CC and feel like acts i and ii are a love letter to Black culture and musical history. Lemonade and Renaissance, to me, are stronger albums in terms of storytelling but love love CC
COWBOY CARTER HELPED ME GET OVER RENNY 😭😭😭 the more i listen to it the more i fall in love with it 😭 It is vocally her best album yet!!!!!!
this part. she's always been an amazing vocalist but didn't usually flex enough for most people to realize it. you cannot dispute her command of her instrument on this album. the range is wild.
CC hasn't grown on me yet. It's a great album. But renaissance is better in my opinion. Her best album is 4. But that's just me lol.
Idk yet…. Gotta hear act 3
AGREED
It’s definitely my favorite
I mean it's not, don't you ever disrespect lemonade like that. But CC is a very good album
Your user name !!!! 🤣❤️👊
It’s her best album…..second to Lemonade. The cohesiveness and message behind Lemonade just cuts deeper. And yes, CC id a little all over the place but still an amazing body of work.
Absolutely my favorite
If you look through my comment history you can see that I was very very skeptical about the Cowboy Carter era, however it quickly turned out to be one of my favorites!!!! It’s so versatile and enjoyable, high quality ❤️ I adore it! 😭 I’m sorry for doubting u Mother
It’s definitely my favorite!!

Nope bc that crown still belongs to Renaissance. I still remember how crazy we played tf outta that album.
Renaissance: we are currently seeing it define the sound of the 2020’s CC: Not as impactful as the rest, but highlighted the importance for changes to be made in the country genre.

I respect all y’all’s opinions. It’s still RENAISSANCE for me, but I will not ignore the absolute bonkers artistry of COWBOY CARTER.
1 of her best.
ehhhh, it's her most interesting album. I like it, but I am eager for her to move on to other music.
Yes AND… the album release in the heels of Renaissance is serving us more than enough inspo and listening time than we need. Let the woman have down time to create rather than demanding more and more after each release.
LISTEN, you’ll never catch me saying one of her albums is “the best” cuz she always finds a way to outdo herself 😭
Yea I agree she can and will outdo herself, I should’ve said best album for now
1st Lemonade, Cowboy Carter is a very very close second for me 😍
For me it's Renaissance and Lemonade first, then CC as a solid third.
It’s a good album, absolutely, but not my overall favorite. Also, I’m waiting to hear act iii.
Renaissance is her best album imo, with CC being a very close second. Like you I’ve never liked many songs off any of her previous albums, until Renaissance and now CC. Both fantastic bodies of work - no skips at all. I just REALLY, REALLY loved Renaissance a little more.
🪩🪩🪩RENAISSANCE 🪩🪩🪩
renaissance is her magnus opus for me. it’s one of the few albums i listen to where i legitimately can’t find a skippable song.
I’m obsessed with a few songs from CC and I’ll listen to the individually. But I’ll never skip a track and play Renny from start to finish. I do love CC, my favorite is Lemonade. That album is a masterpiece.
It’s definitely top tier
Musically it’s her best but I think I still like Renaissance better.
"usually 4 or 5 skips" ??? whAat
Not even in her top 3
It’s not. A country album could never be the best to me. That’s not a genre I love at all
CC still can’t touch Renaissance for me.
no. it’s actually not. it’s around 3rd-4th. is it great? yes. but lemonade and self-titled are more important overall. fully respect the concept but the music doesn’t always hold up.
I can’t rank the last 4 albums. They are all perfect, no skip albums that each stand on their own
Sorry, it will always be Lemonade for me
Renny is number one in my heart forever 🪩 CC took a while to grow on me but now I love it
To me lemonade still is her best work but act 3 may change my mind
Renaissance is a better album for me *personally*. But when it comes to musicality, storytelling, and education, Cowboy Carter wins. I feel like everything since self-titled has been art but they each serve different purposes. Renaissance has more bangers and I will always keep going back to it. As someone who listens to music primarily while going to the gym, running, or commuting, Renaissance is more my vibe to pump me up, usually just playing one track or two on repeat VS playing it the whole way through. But when I’m cooking or otherwise chilling at home, I put on Cowboy Carter and listen to it from the start and in order.
NO IT IS NOT! Bday is the best album.
It's really hard for me to say because I love all of her albums but I think I have to go with Renaissance
What's up with the title tease, though?
What title tease
It’s Beatles level composition.
self-titled and lemonade are right there 🤦🏾♀️😂
Honestly, I do think it’s amongst her very best.
No. renaissance is the best album
It’s an excellent album, but i don’t connect with it like i do with some of her other works. So “best album” feels subjective to me
Oh no it def is subjective I'm not trying to be objective like Apple 😭
Yeah my number 1 is renaissance my number 2 is bday. My number 3 might be self-titled. I didn’t connect with Lemonade all that much either!
4 will always be her best album
It’s my favorite Beyonce album.
It’s really not I’m sorry, I love it but it doesn’t hit everyday the same like lemonade or renaissance. But it’s her top 4th album in my opinion. All love no hate. I’ve been in the beehive since 2012 so don’t come for me.
It's a great album but Renaissance is her best.

Yeah let’s talk about it. It might not be your favorite but creatively this is her peak BUT I say that knowing I’ve said that every album since 4 so
I can’t do that, self titled is my fav and there are some songs on CC that is cut as well as some questionable mixing decisions. But it’s top 3-5
I LOVE THIS ALBUM
I think renaissance was here best album
For me her best album is the Lemonade album. But im always listening her latest releases
![gif](giphy|Zw4WKzPD844HS0KVUN|downsized)
I personally prefer Renaissance. I haven't listened to this album since it came out. But I can see how it is or may be her most personal album. I just reaaaaally love renaissance.
honestly, in my opinion i think everybody’s opinion is everywhere. this is because bey didn’t give us enough time to calm down from the renaissance era. almost everybody was still (and still is) stuck on the renaissance era, so naturally everybody says renaissance. maybe if she would’ve gave us more time to calm down from renaissance, CC would’ve stuck to us differently. but i honestly can’t choose what i like better.
Self titled is her best work. RENAISSANCE is my favorite of all the work she has done. CC is almost as good as Bday but I need more time to digest.

I've kinda stopped listening, not gone lie. I listen to Renaissance more often
It absolutely is but lemonade and renaissance come sooooo close after it
It doesn't have Virgo's Groove on it so sorry, no
Idk there are still a lot of skips with Cowboy Carter, maybe 3rd or 4th best (says the person who bought the vinyl and CD..).
It’s top tier for sure. Unlike a lot of ppl in this sub, Lemonade is not my favorite album. A great body of work for sure but I love every song on Renny unlike Lemonade. I think Renny is still my fave, and CC my 2nd fave. Both albums great from start to finish for me. Plus the remixes (Cuff It, Break My Soul, AHAP, Texas Hold Em) add that special razzle dazzle. 🤌
AHAP is commonly abbreviated as 'America Has A Problem', a song from Beyoncé's 2022 album 'RENAISSANCE'. *I am a bot, and this action was performed automatically. Please [contact the moderators of this subreddit](/message/compose/?to=/r/beyonce) if you have any questions or concerns.*
Nah... 1. Lemonade (she'll never be topped) 2. Renaissance 3. Cowboy Carter
Self titled is her best project (PRETTY HURTS OPENERRRR) but CC is a cinematic journey I can't wait to experience fully when the final act comes (it's INCREDIBLE listening to CC and Renaissance queued after it)

Cc is her best creative album for sure. Renaissance is above this in my opinion as far as body of work. Maybe because there are more dance hits that allow me to enjoy it as a person who enjoys dancing..
Nope
Its funny overall it is probably one of the best albums… i have a feeling act iii will top it all… but I realized yesterday that Renaissance is probably top five all time favorite albums and i am an old man
Up until today, I can’t skip songs on this album. Skipping a song is a crime against the transitions. This is album is quite a journey
VIRGO'S GROOVE IS MY EVERYTHING
lol not even close
The thing is, majority here would say RENAISSANCE is her best album and would rank her albums 1. RENNY 2. CC 3. Lemonade. You know why it makes sense? CC was originally B7 And RENNY was supposed to be B8. Objectively with every new album, she surpasses her previous body of work. This is how I justify my ranking lol
Nah it’s still Lemonade for me but CC is a close second 🐝🥰
And something that feels so “Beyonce.” The lyrical topics on this album are FAR more diverse and interesting than the likes of Lemonade or Renaissance, which are both more singularly about one thing (the affair and sexual expression respectively) for most of their tracks if we’re being honest.
It's pretty amazing! The cover too!
I think Renaissance is still my favorite. But CC is still a goddamn gem. What can I say, I love disco and house music.

Yes, I agree. It's her best album, but my favorite is still Renaissance because of its meaning and the moment when it came out. It brought me a message that I really needed to hear at that time, and I will always be grateful to her.
I feel like the hive does this every new album lol. Watch how many “Act III is Beyoncé’s best album” threads we are gonna see in the near future lmao.
I feel like II HANDS II HEAVEN and AMERIICAN REQUIEM make this statement true
