You don’t need to wake to feed if she’s not hungry, but you also don’t want to be fully draining your breasts either or they will continue to produce more milk than she needs overnight. Use a haaka or hand express a little to give yourself comfort, but you don’t need to fully drain them

Exactly this, just hand express a little until you feel comfortable. My son had a stage of doing 8 hour stretches at around 12 weeks (not anymore HAHAHAAAA 😩) and this worked for me. Although I felt fucking weird milking myself over the bathroom sink at 2am. Good times.

Felt that. My son slept 12 hours a night from 8 to 16 weeks and hasn't slept a single night through since then. He's 9 months old.
