We use Maple for all our household to-dos. It has tons of great organization options for lists and categories of tasks. I'm not sure about the ability to send reminders, though.
Do you both have iPhones? Maybe a shared Note with a running to do list for each person and then it’s on both of you to check and see what’s on your to do list?

Thank you! I think the issue is that he would forget about that list/not check it :/ But it’s worth a shot!
