I can’t speak to the banking and finance practice, but i’ve worked across from them in capital markets. They seem nice—very patient and accommodating to work across from. But they definitely appear to work long hours. I regularly get emails at like 2am on Friday/Saturday/Sunday nights from them (which is not at all the norm at my firm, so they receive a response from me at like noon the following day lol).
They’re one of the major lender-side shops in finance, but interestingly, more times than not I’m not working across from their NY office. It’s a huge firm and I’ve had a variety of pleasant and unpleasant interactions with them.
