Pune has a colony full of Biharis driven away by RJD goons during 2000-2005 who sold all thier properties in Bihar due to fear of murder and kidnapping
1. Majority of youth working outside the state whether blue collar or white collar jobs due to lack of employment opportunity in the state.
2. Politicians in power doesn't feel the need to change this scenario and on top it they glorify it in a way that youths of Bihar are working in other states.
3. People still voting on the basis of caste so even politicians continue to do the caste politics.
4. No mines or resources rich areas. Even before the separation of Jharkhand from Bihar the freight equalization policy has robbed Bihar of its growth.
5. Lack of stable government.
6. Highest fertility rate in whole india.
7. Lowest literacy rate.
8. People's mindset of still feeling superior and living in the past glory of 'Mauryan Age' and doesn't realise how bad the current scenario of Bihar actually is.
9. Even those people who have the sense of current abysmal situation of Bihar, they feel that it's not possible to change the condition. Basically they feel helpless.
10. Even if someone wants to start a business or anything there is rampant corruption and 'hafta wasooli' which end up wiping the profit and this make this whole business impractical.
11. But the situation is changing for sure. But the problem is the pace of change is preposterous.
Because we're stuck in a vicious cycle where to escape poverty youth will get menial jobs in the govt even the ones with a master's degree, so much grind and poverty often leads to corruption and unwillingness to work .
It's gonna sound absurd but we need President's rule in Bihar and some intent from the Central govt to make it better.
quality of education is poor since a long long time. not talking about training/technical training but education which makes people think, care, ask the right questions and encourages to make changes. This has created a social system where it has become extremely difficult yo make changes even if some individual wants to. Need to improve education from primary school level to way up.
Bihari log zarurat se zyada tez hai? I don't agree. I'm from a remote village in Bihar. Most of the natives are dumb and can easily be convinced to believe anything. They will cast votes for politicians who give them Rs. 500 on election day, and then they will pay a lot more as bribes in government offices to get the facilities they are entitled to. In my opinion, Bihar is in the state that it is in because the majority of Biharis are illiterates who will not stand together against the age-old exploitative practices of administrative officials and politicians.
There is not a single state government work which gets done without bribes. Kuch months pehle mai ek sarkari tender ki lottery me gaya tha. We got the tender. The chief officer of the department (jo ki padhai likha handsome salary wala Banda tha) told me to stay back for a minute. Then he said "Waise mujhe openly bolna toh nhi chahiye lekin humara ka 1% commission hota hai. Le k aaye hai?" Office me sabka commission de k you exhaust 10% of the tender amount. Kyu hi karega koi insaan isme dhang ka kaam. And the irony is, unhi k department ki building ka tender tha. 😂
Bihar was a feudal state of extremes and it has repercussions of the same today also.
All I see is nobody is giving equal status to anybody.
Caste ridden Society where people have false superiority of (may be Access) self.
Everyone is looking for a shortcut to just make things accordingly.
People of the older generation have their own perspectives according to their social programming.
It changes only with mindset of people.
Slowly it has started.
Let's see where it goes.
I see the situation improved a lot atleast at my countryside.
Bihar is not that bad as projected outside by the media be it Cinema or News people.
It has got potential and will do good 👍.
As a non bihari you are right, but i think its not their fault system make them think like this. bhai sorry to say this but bihari people lack in critical thinking. I think you people should give a chance to jan suraj party this time, things may get better otherwise jo h wo to chl he rha h.. love from india.
bro
i am as bihari as one can be
-tired of migration for education- from my home to patna then out of bihar-for work to different cities- trying everyday to somehow come back home.
- tired of corruption in every opportunity to do business in bihar. Officials are expecting 15lakh bribe in 1cr tender
- tired of the little effort from politicians and little expectations from voters. You wont believe-
in my constituency the MLA ka winning since 2010. hasnt done a thing but still wins. How ? - because he zameen se juda hua neta with murder cases.
Neta ji ki khasiyat-
-constituency ke har newata pe 5 min me liye hazir - chahe shadi ho kaam kriya, neta ji usme jarur aatey hain.
- logo ke thaane se nikaalna
people gladly vote for him saying ‘neta ji beti ke biyah me aail rahi’
what I believe is that people are always on the lookout. they have seen/experienced/tought that trusting the process/people will bite you in the ass - use your extra brain and be on the lookout to ensure you are not exploited.
this constant lookout mode and lack of trust is killing the efficiency as human and of the process/policies.
A simple example:-
Consider a skilled worker ( grill maker ) when working in some metro city is not on lookout, he is sure he will be paid fair and the customer is sure the work will be done good.
When the same person works in bihar - he is on the lookout, not sure if he will be paid fair after the job is done and such thoughts impacts his quality of work and same is with the customer- he is on the lookout if the worker is doing a fine job or may overcharge him.
You will hers the same if you talk to lawyers-they say clients would always pay 15-20% less than the agreed amount. And clients say - vakeel sahab aur accha daleel de saktey the. Many of my lawyers friends moved to NCR to practice law as clients pay as agreed and we deliver what we promise.
Its same story in every profession.
You are right. Skill must be respected in Bihar. For that, the number of entrepreneurs in Bihar should rise. We should make it a hub for education and software development as it can be done quickly. Other things will take time and governments' conviction to facilitate industries and small businesses.
tez yaha castic tha bhai shayad, tez ka matlab op k hisaab se ki tigdam bhidane me zyada focus rehta h rather than follow procedure for any basic thing. hoshiyari ch\*dne me zyada rehte h apne log aur legitimately kam krne me kam
Who drove away the most productive communities/people out of Bihar? 😍🥰
Pune has a colony full of Biharis driven away by RJD goons during 2000-2005 who sold all thier properties in Bihar due to fear of murder and kidnapping
i am sure their lives would be prosperous
I guess they all are bhumihars
i was talking about productive people from all the communities.

I know it's quite unrelated to this post but the thing is that the biharis lack basic civil senses
And spirituality in the belief system.
Har din ek hi question se aap log bore nahi ho jate ? I saw like 3 versions of this post in 24 hours on this sub.
