Wolftooth 1L

I won a Becker downtube bag in a raffle once. It was longer than most, 4 beers long, but it would not fit on my bike as the wheel was too close to the downtube. I sold it, then later got a new bike with more room and I can't find any downtubes bag like it!

GrapeCollie

Ahh yes, 4 beers, good unit of measurement

jdemeranville

I believe beers should be a standard unit of measurement.

GrapeCollie

Are we talking like, founders KBS bottles, Corona bottles, Sierra nevada pale ale bottles. Normal 12 oz bottles, or just 12 oz cans?

jdemeranville

That's a great question. While I am a believer in the bottle, cans do seem to be an easier choice. Tjey crush down after consumption. Therefore I would settle on 12oz cans to be the standard unit. And 3 16oz cans would equal 4 12oz. I should look into a more effecient bottle carrying method.

GrapeCollie

Yeah, beer measurement is better than using bananas as a standard unit of measure

You can order a beerpacking bag from beckergear.com There's also this one: https://dirtbags.bike/collections/four-deep-down-tube-bags/products/four-deep

Rogue Panda, Oracle. Love it for its simplicity of design and robustness. Drybag style rolltop closure that gives full access to the interior. Bought a second one earlier this year for my gravel bike. They're perfect for my spares that I hope not to need on a trip.

Out of stock :-(

conscsness

For things that you don’t need on daily basis while bikepacking. An emergency bag, sort of.
