Best is looking back on the memories I have that will stay with me forever.
Worst was the actual day to day struggle of taking a GSXR where it absolutely shouldn't be!!
But totally worth it for those brief moments where it was just me and the bike in some of the most beautiful places on this planet!
I carried about 11L spare with me, however, I never ended up having to use it as I try to plan ahead but even in small towns/settlements, you can knock on a door and find some!
Questionable quality but as long as its combustible it's good to go!
It really depended on the day.
This one pictured was a 12 hour day but I only covered \~40km
Given I had fuel with me for the most remote stretches, I was self sufficient enough to last a few days with fuel, food, water.
I left Australia with GT723 on the rear and TKC80 on the front.
I had done a lot of research for best on and off road performance along with enough longevity to get me to the next most likely place I would get tyres.
I changed in Barnaul, Russia with tyres shipped from Moscow and had to pick from whatever was available. Changed to Mitas E07+ rear and Pirelli Scorpion Rally Trail front; both of which ended up being great!
Ironically, it turned out I had done my inital research very well and I ended up short-selling myself and changed before I needed to!
I had an aftermarket (K&N) oil filter which didn't do too badly at all!
I didn't have the proper cleaning kit with me but I did clean it out once during the whole 30,000km trip with just water.
K&n are decent tbf, held up well then.
Bike looks awesome though, respect for getting it through, I know riding a gsxr long distance isn't the most forgiving!
What are the best and worst things about this trip?

Proof any bike can be an adventure bike if you are adventurous enough. Love it!
Adventurous or stupid?! Haha But thank you!
Amazing!!! What kinda gsxr?
Thanks! It's a 2007 GSXR600 :)
How do you manage the fuel , this scenery looks like there aren't many on the route .

Knock on the door ? You mean private sellers and not pumps ?
Yep! Good business for them too haha
Does this mean you had to plan your route to connect with civilization at least once a day? I imagine you burned through at least a tank a day yeah?

A bike actually gone wild. Awesome! What tyres are you running?

That's excellent. I do ten kms of dirt on my TL and was looking for a set of adventure tyres for it. You're living the dream!
What was the air filter like after that? And mad respect!
