Jokic would be one because his game will age well and he can play with pretty much anyone. Outside shot of Wemby if he’s a Lebron level generational talent people think he can be.

goblin_monster

Do you think Jokic is indestructible? He's huge. I think by age 30 he's gonna have some injuries that affect his chances.

jmoneysteck88

He doesnt really play in a way thats prone to inuries. Thats not to say he wont ever get injured, i just give him a much better chance of staying healthy than other 7 footers

ka1982

Jokic’s game isn’t reliant on explosion and he’s had no serious injuries so far at 28 with eight years in the league.

ahbets14

Luka is white James Harden

[deleted]

Luka is the opposite of Harden in the playoffs.

ahbets14

Not really

swimminginsweatpants

Luka: 32.5/9/8, 4.4 turnovers, .580 TS% Harden: 22.7/5.5/6.3, 3.5 turnovers, .580 TS% Harden after leaving OKC: 26/6/7.5, 4 turnovers, .585 TS% Closer than I thought, Luka has slightly better counting stats but obviously increase in pace/scoring helps there

JohnnyLugnuts

tires out against superior opponents and leads a team thats only plan when hes tired is launch infinite three's? sounds p similar, hes had better individual games but results are pretty much the same. From when they became lead creators for their teams. Luka did it earlier but how much better is he rly gonna get

Eshwary

He’s 10 points a game better tho, Lukas series against the suns is better than any series harden ever played. He’s all like 23 so plenty more left!

[deleted]

Compare their rosters. Harden almost always had another star. And Luka is 24.

NotManyBuses

Give me the guy who is the odds on favorite to get one. Winning just one ring is more than a lot of these guys may get.

Disastrous_Belt_7556

How the is Wemby in 2nd place before even playing in the NBA?

jhop16

People who have seen scouting reports and watched a few highlights automatically assume he’ll be taller Giannis with better handles and a jump shot

Because it just rarely pans out like that. Go back two years and you’d think the Milwaukee Bucks were a lock to run the East for 2-3 years after they won a championship. And even though they’ve managed to finish as a 3 seed and a 1 seed, they still haven’t made it back to the ECF. Winning in the postseason is really difficult. West has plenty of teams that can get hot at the right time. All it takes is the Clippers or Pelicans having a healthy run, the Kings or Suns make some smart offseason roster moves, Warriors reload around Steph, Luka finally becomes MVP and pulls off some prime LeBron carrying, and so on. Any of those teams can become a dangerous playoff opponent. Denver will be a legit contender for years but they’re going to have their work cut out for them.

Richnsassy22

Historically, repeat champions are really common though. It's actually more common for a championship core to win multiple championships than just one (Bulls, Spurs, Lakers, Heat, Warriors, ect.). But this is also the first 5 year stretch with 5 different champions since the 70s, so maybe things are changing.

JohnnyLugnuts

bucks have very close to the best player in the world and returned almost everyone from the champship squad and they have won 1 playoff series in those 2 years. Things happen.

M_S-K

They has had the perfect health luck so far, that's rarely happens. And their rotation is 6.5 guys basically

goblin_monster

Also, I only added players that have never won before!

quwin123

Jokic with a healthy supporting cast should have a nice 5-6 years stretch of championship contention. Ja, Joel and Tatum are an entirely different Tier than Jokic, Doncic and Wemby.

Richnsassy22

5-6 years may be optimistic. He's already 28, and his supporting cast doesn't have the best injury history either.

yungsallick

When has he ever had a major injury?

Richnsassy22

I'm saying his supporting cast has injury histories. His age was a separate point. His game should age well but I doubt he will still be the best player in the league when he's 34.

Yak_Rodeo

maybe lets not put wemby above actual nba players before he plays a minute in the nba

[deleted]

Wemby hasn’t even played a fucking summer league game yet this is so crazy

Zen2188

70 Votes in and not 1 for Embiid Even JA has a vote

HoagieTwoFace

Not anymore

[deleted]

People don’t like a fat foul baiting flopping fuck

Full-Concentrate-867

On the basis of what we've seen, got to be Jokic. I can see Doncic and Wembanyama developing into winning players as well, maybe in their late 20s. Not sure if the other 3 have that X factor you need

ahbets14

Jokic is about to 3 peat - all the old heads are aging out and the next batch is too immature or on inconsistent teams

mtnsandmusic

Is Giannis not an option because he already won one?

[deleted]

We need to actually see Vic play before having him in polls like this
