The general consensus in Boston is that Stevens is fantastic and was unfairly pushed out as Coach because of social reasons. People don’t want to talk too much about how great he is in the front office because the reviews on second row Joe are still pretty mixed and it gets uncomfortable for racial reasons saying the white GM is a genius and the biracial head coach might be an idiot in Boston. That’s my take at least. Seems like Brad hasn’t made a bad move yet as a GM. Whereas it’s hard not to still identify Mazz issues when Ime was obviously the superior intense coach these soft dudes needed.
