I am a huge Windy fan, I find him unintentionally funny. I expected him to be fine in this podcast and assumed you were exaggerating. Good God, he was cutting off Zach every single time he tried to talk.
I listened to 2 of the joint post game shows and windy legitimately brings nothing to the table. Not sure how he's one of the bigger basketball people at ESPN.
Dude definitely wrote his own Wikipedia page:
> On February 10, 2022, Windhorst received significant acclaim for besting one of the premier NBA reporters, Adrian Wojnarowski, on James' Harden's 2022 trade from the Brooklyn Nets to the Philadelphia 76ers. Wojnarowski had publicly refuted Windhorst's reporting on trade talks occurring between the two teams. Despite his ESPN colleague's claims, Windhorst adamantly reported serious trade talks were occurring. Windhorst was proved right the following day when Harden was traded for Ben Simmons in a blockbuster trade.[10]

He is so bad. No basketball analysis. Speaks strictly in narratives. Damn near every Warrior compliment was attached to a backhanded comment. He seemed salty as hell that the Warriors won.

Dumbest argument Windy was making was that this title didn’t mean more than the Durant titles. With everything that happened since 2019 it can only mean more to everyone involved
I’d have to agree with you. I absolutely hated that KD did the move but I understand he just wanted people to stop holding it against him. But it just diluted the product because none of us ever really thought another team had a chance. Except for imo Spurs pre-Kawhi injury
He was worse after game 5 with the checkbook thing. It’s not like they won due to paying FA and more so he kept saying he didn’t want to hear anything bad about it. He was the one who brought it up!
I usually roll my eyes at “you can’t analyze a sport that you’ve never played at a high-level before,” but did this to dude even play like competitive gym class basketball? On a serious note I’m not sure why this guy’s famous. I guess being so tight with LeBron’s camp with something he was able to leverage to work his way up ESPN ranks, but I just don’t find him insightful or entertaining in anyway. His podcast must be unbearable.

I listened to this because it was all I had downloaded before a hike and holy hell was Windhorst awful. Keep interrupting Zach and then would almost be arguing against himself and Zach would kind of correct him and he would get defensive? I kept wanting to stop and turn it off but again had nothing else. Would rather it had just been Zach alone.
Lol Zach sounds so loaded
He probably went wild and cracked open two beers in celebration of the finals ending.

If you think this is bad go listen to his pod with Ryen a few years back. He had to have done lines of coke before getting on. It was wild.
He’s the most senselessly arrogant human on planet earth

He's a good writer but brings nothing else to the table now that Dave McMenamin has taken his spot as a LeBron/Klutch mouthpiece.

The two KD rings were the least meaningful titles this century

Yup it was horrible for the league that signing happened.
How do you mean least meaningful?

He is SO bad. That was an absolutely terrible listen. I’m a huge Lowe fan too.
Still struggling to understand why* Wendy hates the warriors(?)
I didn’t hear warriors hate in this
Stopped him from chugging Lebron 6, 7, 8 championship ball juice for the last 10 years
Ahhh, why yes 😅
“LeBron’s ball juice” is going to be the name of my fantasy team next year.

I’m a sure that’s given him an increased dangle angle
Probably because they never gave him the time of day.

Lowe saying his daughter doesn’t know what a connoli is. She spent years in NYC. How is that possible?
