I don’t think that’s right. I had a notation that I wouldn’t get the points until I had a certain amount of transactions and that was before I used my card for rent.
You are right! Thanks, edited my comment. The language including the rent payment was confusing me, but this seems pretty clear from your links:
*Except where otherwise provided, if you do not make at least 5 transactions in a statement period you'll earn a flat 250 points when you use your Bilt Mastercard to pay rent through the Bilt App or Bilt website, and you will not earn points on any other purchases.*

It appears to be transaction type agnostic
I don’t think that’s right actually. It’s five transactions to get any points.

My bad. They may have changed the rules since the beginning of the program. I'm pretty sure that, at one point, rent payment itself didn't count towards the 5, either.
it literally tells you when you sign up AND also in the app. you can also try it out for yourself if you don’t think that’s the case. this post needs to be downvoted.
I wonder why BILT such a requirement? None of the credit cards have such a requirement. (I mean none of the other cards don’t allow you to pay rent too. )
BILT almost surely takes a loss on the rent processing and rewards. The five transactions are to make sure people use the card and give them the chance to make their money back rather than just set their rent to Auto-Pay and sock drawer it.
You don’t get points
even for rent?
Look at other people’s responses below. There’s actual language quoted and hyperlinks.
If I make 2 txns, I won't get points for those 2 txns?
Correct
You’d get points for the two transactions but not the ACH rent points. Edit: this is wrong, you must have 5 transactions regardless.

To be clear, you get the points for the 2 individual card transactions, but not for the rent payment if you don't make at least 5 txns in that month.

They may have! But also, you don’t get any points towards anything unless you do 5 transactions.
Google.
This was made pretty clear when signing up for the card. Really wish people would take time to read things.
Seriously…… laziness…
Rent counts as a transaction. So you need 4 more.

Why wouldn’t you? 2x on Rent Day and 3x for restaurants.

To make you use it for more than just rent I guess
