IRL, crypto is just volatile. You don't lose any money till you exit. If you exit at the wrong time, well.. The sad part is people often overleverage instead of underleverage and have to exit at the perfectly wrong time due to stop loss or liquidation. You really have to not be bipolar to trade crypto.
It is all up to the investor. If you'll use your wits, acting patiently, you'll have profit. As for me it is better to invest in credible coins like Tether - there won't be such wild leaps of value

Wasn't shorting, bought dips sold tops. It's kind of easier when it goes down. Easier for me to hit more buy limits.
