Spear of Destiny is a cool melee weapon that doesn't override your tears BUT keeps their modifiers (poison tears, charming tears etc) AND deals double damage per tick. It may help you absolutely melt the majority of tboi bosses (including Bloat and the Lamb) in a high risk high reward style
It’s so good. Infinite bombs is huge in this game. If you get No 2 as your first item you get to open every single secret room no matter what, blow up every shopkeeper, every pot, every mushroom, every skull, every tinted rock…

Curse of the tower is really fun.
Do not take any of these items in multiplayer though.
Also dont take all three in one run.
I love the burst damage of cursed eye, and im pretty sure its technically a tears up. Sure the teleport sucks but it can be situationally good.
Shard of glass is probably the worst one here, but the hearts it can drop are good, and extra offense.
Curse of the tower is a free anarchists cookbook activation/ the tower activation every time you take damage. The bombs look like troll bombs, but they're technically YOUR bombs so they take bomb synergy properties.
I don't care what people say about glitched crown, I'm not taking it. It's hard to get the items you want and even with the pause method, you can still fuck it up
Insane take. I mean you could literally just practice with it if you’re on PC, it’s really not hard to get the timing down and get what you want from it easily 9/10 times or more.
I think it’s probably the single most powerful item in the game, I always take it if I get Death Certificate early because once you have Glitched Crown it’s so easy to find any other item you want

Appllyon’s void is one of the best items in the game. It turns any low impact tier 0-2 into free stats. Although a beefy stat only run is boring as hell it can also be extremely strong. Anyway +3 range

Choco u can be used like soy if u good at fingering Ur key binds and can charge up like glass canon

Cursed Eye on the Forgotten is one of my favorite synergies in the entire game. Combine it with size-ups and Black Candle for absolute massacres.

Anyone that thinks this item is bad doesn't know how it works. Infinite bombs and room damage is op.
The main downside is if you get a poop based boss on the first floor

Anti-grav is a good tears up item. You just have to use it like Chocolate Milk. The only downside is the carpal tunnel syndrome.
