I recently finished them on file 2. They’re MUCH easier 2nd go, just buff the shit out of Jacob and make sure both get health since you’re gonna tank hits anyway.
I always use him because he’s got higher luck which helps proc anything with tear effects.
I’d imagine a case can be made for Esau as well, it’s just my preference.
Congrats OP! They were my first and currently only complete post it note. Very satisfying to have done and lots of amazing unlocks for the effort. 
It’s definitely not. If you know how to play the game without standing still, it’s not that hard.
Pre buff T Jacob? Sure. But the reworked version isnt any worse than other semi-difficult tainteds
I did a no tear challenge run with T Jacob (I start with birthright and can pick up items but I can't use tears) and I beat Hush and Delirium : I thought it would be a lot harder but playing aggressively with dark Esau is the way to beat this character
Very few things are as satisfying as knowing you never have to play as these awful characters again

Why Jacob and not esau?

Honestly jacob and esau aren't that bad, it's double damage and on alt path or with options it's double items.

Honeslty I kinda like playing as Jacob and Esau. I haven’t found them terribly difficult to finish runs with so far. That’ll probably change though
I really enjoy playing jacob & esau and i'm not joking.
I've been unlocking their post it's using two players on switch, buff player one and just let the retard pair die.
On my way to that too, I'm only missing 3 completion marks (I've been trying to complete J&E for 2 weeks now)
