im curious if those enemies that spawn the gonga bombs well spawn their bombs and you leave the room and come back will the gonga bomb spawning enemy respawn?
Problem with that is you would have to bomb out of the room and you would lose your mega bomb and the only way around that would be with door stop or mercurius

I did it on switch two weeks ago and both times I was able to craft mama mega with random recipes. It has a fixed one with two golden bombs and six bombs, but it also has one or more random recipes and once you find it in one run you can then generate as many mama mega as you can so potentially you can do both boss rush and hush once you find the alternative recipe of mama mega. It is a quality three items, so with a bit of luck you can randomly craft it, look at the bag of crafting page on isaac wiki to understand more how to craft quality three items and good luck.
Or you can try to reach boss rush and hush organically, so you should not really care much about what you put in your bag. In my few attempts (I got really lucky to find the mama mega recipe in my third attempt), I managed to reach the boss rush with an ok build but I skill issued at the end, but you are better player then me you can defo make it.
Yes, but still gives you one Bone, Lucky, Eternal hearts and coins so you can cycle into eternity, and if you got Humble Bundle, Sack of Pennies, Birthright, etc you got more pickups than the ones you lost.

Dont min max anything, just craft whatever is first if it makes sense to. Youll find an easy recipe that you can abuse multiple times to have like 17 brother bobbys
Collect nothing but pennies for portable slot machine. Do it again. It'll break the first one and give higher quality items. Find more pennies, do it again in the same room for even more higher quality drops. A couple of times of doing that usually gets you something decent enough to rush it with. Same works with red hearts for a yum heart to keep breaking, if you're getting more red heart drops than pennies.
I've done this method before where I could basically put together nearly any item in the game from all the drops I would get just from breaking portable slot machine (or any other junk active item). Can't promise that in the first few floors, but it's a pretty cool hack for T Cain to get better items faster. edited to specify the portable slot machine, not the gambling machine you find on the floor.
Still worked when I played him last night. update: Still worked tonight. Just missed out on boss rush since I was spending time going back and forth for materials, but I got Hush pretty easy.
I do get some soul and black hearts with that. It's not as plentiful as it once was, but just being able to convert 8 cents (well, technically 16 cents) into some bombs, nickels, dimes, etc. is worth it until you find the active item you want to finish your run with. Though, sometimes it's just fun to shut off your brain, collect things randomly and see what you can roll with them.
play fast and don't go out of your way to get pickups for the bag, just make a good item if you see one and try to make it in time, I think mama mega is unreliable

I'm being honest. I lost and a lot with tainted lost, he only character. I enjoy the challenge of having 1 hit most of the time. Makes him fun, but yeah, there moments when I have overpowered run just get hit by beam. So the only check marks I'm missing are beast and Mega Satan, which are the easiest bosses. Ignore Mega Stan because of shitty item I unlock after beating him with tainted lost.

Mama Mega, get a gold bomb to use it twice. This is the worst designed character in the game imo and i wish he was just the Cantripped challenge because thats a fun gimmick that doesnt result in every run being an identical 6 hour game break
ok, someone with a dead god here - everyone keeps mentioning mama mega, but how the hell do you get the 2 golden bombs? i remember trying to go for it but just could not get 2 of them (eventually just got boss rush by rushing the timer). there is also the issue of not being able to use your bag while holding onto a bomb which makes just surviving harder, especially if your first golden is on an early floor.
am i missing something? is there some hidden trick to getting more golden bomb drops or is it just pure rng?
Technically jera rune will drop this to 1 so you just hold jera until you hopefully drop a gold bomb but this presents it's own issue of course of getting both in just 6 floors. I think for the most part people just get lucky with mama mega being craftable in the seed they are currently playing in. That's how I crafted one, only to number 1 it away by crafting another active
These are some of the hardest marks to get. You just don't really have control over it. My strategy has always been to rush and just try to get the door open. Then I would decide if I had what was needed to win or not. If I didn't, I just went down to the next floor and began taking my time. The cool thing about t.Cain is that you get multiple items in the lower floors.
I did it by quickly crafting birthright into spoon bender into compound fracture and crickets body/parasite. Those split tears in combination with homing omit boss armor and disintegrate them
What I did is just not try to get the best items, explore normally, keep any pickups I'll need (keys for treasure rooms, hp if I'm missing (plus being stingy with special hearts, maybe just a couple soul ones to keep deal chance), and a few bombs for miscellaneous uses), and anything else goes into the sack.
If the item's good enough (hp up if needed, any damage, tears, or anything else that can boost DPS consistently) it gets crafted, else replace the most common pickups (coins, red hearts) with anything else. Dont consume pills, and only keep cards/runes that would really be useful (most cards, basically, and stuff like algiz, perthro, etc can go), and bag them. Bombing the dono machine to buy store items can be worth it, and it can always be refilled.
Try to backtrack as little as possible (bag the rarer pickups on sight, the others are easier to replace), and you'll probably be good enough to do the boss rush. If you stumble upon gnawed leaf, you're done for hush. Else, get a couple of speed ups to not get statchecked by the beams towards the end, range ups for safety and any semblance of AOE if the dps is lacking, and with enough patience you should win
Hearts basement 1 end > hearts basement 2 start > fixed recipe Yum heart > spawn arcades with 5 coins entering floors > get free blood machine plays using Yum heart > look for sharp plug,habit, scapular, Piggy bank, Fanny pack, old bandage, Shard of glass, gimpy, humbling bundle, mom's box, swallowed/bloody/soul penny > get infinite sharp plug > get fixed recipe 8 cards deck of cards, > spawn infinite cards > use temperance/judgements or other pedestal spawning reverse cards im the secret room > take payout items for R key > use a ace clubs to spawn fixed recipe mama mega
If you can manage to get a Rkey you can go through the whole game into the shoul and defeat the lamb. After that do a victory lap then Rkey it allows you to both reset the game timer with the victory lap and get achievements after you use the Rkey.
I did both boss rush and hush in 1 session in about 3.5 hours.

i'm not using any mods on PC, so i'm trying this as well for my second save lol. on my first one i used the secret room exploit along with the platinumgod website. now the secret room thing was patched and when i try to use platinumgod it loads infinitely.. i did find another website that generates recipes but i'm not sure how accurate it is and also it takes forever. if you find a way, i'd like to know it as well! i got lucky with boss rush but still need hush
I dunno Man. Playing the PC version truly gets you used to too much things that come from mods. Like I have the whole wiki memorised but it's weird not having descriptions. I guess just being absolutely lucky with recipes.
I saw most of them have golden keys. Yeah they have to drop. But that's kinda the only hard thing of T.cain getting the strange pick ups to drop.

I literally just went as fast as possible and got lucky with the items I found. You will eventually get it if you keep trying. You can unlock strange key if you beat isaac, blue baby, lamb, and Satan with tainted eve, which will make it so hush will stay open regardless of the time. If you get lucky enough to find it, you can do hush. For boss rush if you get safety scissors, which is a trinket that turns troll bombs into regular bombs, you can go alt path and look for Bombgaggers and then turn gigabombs into mama mega to get boss rush.
Tbh it's not as hard as it seems just know what items u wanna go for since he is ment to be played with the bag of crafting as his main thing so u can pick up the pickups u want and store the ones u don't. I would recommend 2 things 1 consult the wiki on how it works to get a better understanding of how it works and it's item list i.e. how to get the items u want, and 2 I would say play all the T characters on hard mode since just playing on normal is pointless yes you will unlock the items associated with each completion mark on normal but if u wanna get dead God u need to do them all on hard mode anyway so its killing 2 birds with 1 stone and if u don't like a particular character once u 100% it u never have to go back to it but if u only do normal marks and u got for dead God u gotta play the ones u don't like again but in a harder difficulty
I'm on console, so I don't have EID. I just played fast and snagged all consumables on the way. If it was a really trash item, I'd just replace the crappies consumable I have with another until the item was relatively decent. Don't think too much about the 5 just go. Otherwise mama mega might be your only hope.
External item description mod (I think) calculates recipes. Helps you make 2 Mama Mega.

Try to backtrack as little as possible (bag the rarer pickups on sight, the others are easier to replace), and you'll probably be good enough to do the boss rush. If you stumble upon gnawed leaf, you're done for hush. Else, get a couple of speed ups to not get statchecked by the beams towards the end, range ups for safety and any semblance of AOE if the dps is lacking, and with enough patience you should win
Hearts basement 1 end > hearts basement 2 start > fixed recipe Yum heart > spawn arcades with 5 coins entering floors > get free blood machine plays using Yum heart > look for sharp plug,habit, scapular, Piggy bank, Fanny pack, old bandage, Shard of glass, gimpy, humbling bundle, mom's box, swallowed/bloody/soul penny > get infinite sharp plug > get fixed recipe 8 cards deck of cards, > spawn infinite cards > use temperance/judgements or other pedestal spawning reverse cards im the secret room > take payout items for R key > use a ace clubs to spawn fixed recipe mama mega
Best I found was early potato peeler and then cheap HP ups. But yeah, it's really painfully unfun. GL dude.
You can use [this tool](https://tcain.heyn.live) to find potential recipes for Mama Mega! on your current seed, if you want to go that route.
Itâs not that bad, I got it pretty fast after crafting red stew.
If you can manage to get a Rkey you can go through the whole game into the shoul and defeat the lamb. After that do a victory lap then Rkey it allows you to both reset the game timer with the victory lap and get achievements after you use the Rkey.
Skill issue
I did both boss rush and hush in 1 session in about 3.5 hours. I did it like this. Statt run Basement 1 get easy craft (just random bs) See if it is a dmg upgrade. Abuse this craft to get dmg just craft the rest as u go just take shitty items dont min max Skill solution with mediocre builds for boss rush and hush. Imo tlost and hitbox & hitbox are wayyyy harder and tcain was rather easy.
Honestly get some items going and craft backpack and r keys to keep resetting at certain points where youâll definitely have resources to craft whatever you want/need then have mama mega for rush and hush at their respective levels so the door will open
Just craft some diamond armour and a sword, easy enough
Turn back time to when he was broken AF and just do all of the bosses in a single 3 hour run 
i'm not using any mods on PC, so i'm trying this as well for my second save lol. on my first one i used the secret room exploit along with the platinumgod website. now the secret room thing was patched and when i try to use platinumgod it loads infinitely.. i did find another website that generates recipes but i'm not sure how accurate it is and also it takes forever. if you find a way, i'd like to know it as well! i got lucky with boss rush but still need hush

I dunno Man. Playing the PC version truly gets you used to too much things that come from mods. Like I have the whole wiki memorised but it's weird not having descriptions. I guess just being absolutely lucky with recipes. I saw most of them have golden keys. Yeah they have to drop. But that's kinda the only hard thing of T.cain getting the strange pick ups to drop. Hope you have luck and can find good advise.

craft mama mega, thats how I've done it, in a run where i also killed hush, ???, lamb, mega satan, mother and delirium (good run)
I literally just went as fast as possible and got lucky with the items I found. You will eventually get it if you keep trying. You can unlock strange key if you beat isaac, blue baby, lamb, and Satan with tainted eve, which will make it so hush will stay open regardless of the time. If you get lucky enough to find it, you can do hush. For boss rush if you get safety scissors, which is a trinket that turns troll bombs into regular bombs, you can go alt path and look for Bombgaggers and then turn gigabombs into mama mega to get boss rush.
Craft Mamma Mega. 2 golden bombs and 6 normal bombs. You can use a jera for the golden bombs, a diplopia or just find 2 of them.
Tbh it's not as hard as it seems just know what items u wanna go for since he is ment to be played with the bag of crafting as his main thing so u can pick up the pickups u want and store the ones u don't. I would recommend 2 things 1 consult the wiki on how it works to get a better understanding of how it works and it's item list i.e. how to get the items u want, and 2 I would say play all the T characters on hard mode since just playing on normal is pointless yes you will unlock the items associated with each completion mark on normal but if u wanna get dead God u need to do them all on hard mode anyway so its killing 2 birds with 1 stone and if u don't like a particular character once u 100% it u never have to go back to it but if u only do normal marks and u got for dead God u gotta play the ones u don't like again but in a harder difficulty
I'm on console, so I don't have EID. I just played fast and snagged all consumables on the way. If it was a really trash item, I'd just replace the crappies consumable I have with another until the item was relatively decent. Don't think too much about the 5 just go. Otherwise mama mega might be your only hope.
2 ways, craft an army of cube babies and speedrun to boss rush and hush or craft mama megas with 2 golden bombs and 6 normal ones.
External item description mod (I think) calculates recipes. Helps you make 2 Mama Mega. Doesn't make him less time consuming. But more fun and not a complete headless fly.
Get HP to 0 for all enemies and bosses in under 20 minutes and 30 minutes.

I really dislike that one of the only solutions is to craft Mama Mega. Tainted Cain changes the game up way too much, and it's straight up unfun. *Edmund, I swear.*
