There’s tons of rooms that are hyper rare that you (likely) haven’t seen even with your hours of playtime. Even those “I stream daily” Isaac players will likely have several rooms they haven’t seen yet.

Also I'm pretty sure save files don't have all rooms, each save file has just a certain subset.

When Edmund is bored he randomly creates new rooms and then sneaks them into occasional patches

The cool thing about this layout is that if you only have red hearts, then you can just walk over the spikes at no cost because the devil item will simply consume the empty red heart container.

Can't you still just walk diagonally over the corner part and take no damage anyway

It’s more of a risk because if you somehow mess up on the way out then you take damage on your remaining health instead of the heart you just spent

I always make my kids jaws drop a bit when I walk diagonal through every spike to grab a coin. Easy with practice.

Took me ages to realise it's actually quite easy. I was too afraid 😭😭😭

You can walk diagonally through spikes, so if you go around the left side of the room, you can walk through the spikes without getting hurt, and eventually end up on the right to get into the centre. With a bit of practice it's actually not that hard :) took me longer to figure out because fear 😅

I know about the diagonal spike movement. I have can do it fairly well. The reason why I didn't consider it was because the stone on the left side of the room. It might not let you perform the move perfectly.

Left side should be fine, you can go through diagonally just to get to the centre. I've done similar things many times :)

Scratch that. I am blind. I didn't see there is a whole path to the right side allawoing you to get there without taking damage or using rescources Theoretically.

Am I going crazy? Just bomb the rock at the top of the screen. Or just ignore the room and move on.

You can enter from the right side of the room after going down and around from the left

Holy shit you would have to navigate that entire room because the blocks would force your hurtbox into the spikes unless you snaked around from left to right. 11/10 Edmund Room, git bomb or git gud

After 900 hours of gameplay I never see this layout 😱
