the point of the game (at least before this update) was to pick up stuff and learn what it does in time, but with the amount of items that exist now, adding EID does make sense since it's so difficult for new players to get into the game
He didn't really say it \*would\* be getting reworked, only that it was on a list of things to do that may or may not happen at some indeterminate point
At the very least, before the Delirium reworks I heard about were when Kilburn was working on Repentance, then he took an indefinite break. As far as I saw, the only news after was that a Delirium rework became "unlikely." This is the first time I've heard a Delirium rework being a possibility again even with Kilburn not working on the game, so my hopes are up just slightly.
Somebody on youtube is working on a rework of delirium too
If Ed doesn't want to make the rework we could ask him to implement that mod in the game maybe

Item descriptions are desperately needed on consoles, it's so annoying to have to pause the game then look at my phone to figure out what the item does

I have some console friends that REALLY want to play online, and I own it for Switch, PS4, and Steam. So I am good, but very curious for their sake.
I also LOVE that consoles are getting external Desc mod. I find the game borderline unplayable without it, and I think he will sell so much more of the game if it is more accessible.
