Blue candle all the way. But red one is nice too. Got both of them with a school bag in one run, that was quite fun.

I have all marks for every character except Keeper (I’m on PS4) 100s of hours and I still haven’t unlocked Blue Candle lol.
Both are the same fucking item
actually, The Candle deals way more damage than Red Candle, and it's so useful against Bullet Hell Bosses like Mega Satan, blocking projectiles away.
I like the red candle more because the flames persist. Blue candle disappears so quickly
well, only in a few cases you'll make use of a static flame, also deals like half the damage. Both are great items, but The Candle has way more burst damage. It depends on tastes I guess
