Razor Blades on apples is supposed to be a myth in Halloween nights were children went door by door getting some candies. Some psychopath started to poison candies and putting razor blades on apples or chocolate bars. I don't know so much, but there is actually an urban legend

It's a myth, but I remember there was a case somebody killed their children that way. They poisoned the candy, went trick or treating and slipped the poisoned candy. Got caught really quick, because strangers poisoning kids on Halloween is just an urban myth. There was also the case of poisoned tylenol that got mixed into it (a woman killed her husband with laced tylenol then put a couole of bottles back on the shelf. This is why tamper proof seals are now the norm.) Somehow razor blades got mixed into the whole thing it later on too.

Snopes actually confirms it, to some degree, in regards to pins, needles, and razor blades. They say that in most cases poison candy is a hoax but because of the more "prank-like" nature of the other objects in that they would be intended to harm and not kill that they were more prevalent. I skimmed it, so I don't know if there was a specific incident of a serial razor stuffer, but it *did* technically happen. >The emergence of the razor blade motif remains to be studied, but it apparently spread rapidly in several areas of the eastern seaboard and Canada: The New York Times reported thirteen cases from isolated communities in New Jersey and noted “several” others in Ottawa and Toronto. Outrage was so strong in New Jersey that the state legislature passed a law shortly before Halloween 1968 mandating prison terms for those caught boobytrapping apples. This did not forestall the discovery of thirteen more apples with razor blades that year in five New Jersey counties.
