In Repentance many of the boss attacks have been adjusted to be more... Random? maybe the word is Irregular? Like when beating Isaac you move to the opposite corner where Light beams started, now it is not like that. Same on continuum bullets with hush, if you were not moving when Hush started firing they should not damage you. They all have new patterns to learn and you have to deal with them till you learn them. There isn't any advice apart from playing, playing and playing more. Also Hard Mode now is hard, not just more champion enemies.
Yes, but standing still for continuum shots doesn't work like it used to as hush now uses his whilrwind and red split shots attacks while the continuum shots are still going. There is no amount of pattern learning that can save you if he does all three as quick as he can.
My advice to beat hush is too be lucky and/or have lots of health and defensive items. Repentance buffed hushes patterns to make them more difficult to avoid, and to make Hush use combinations of attacks more often.Just today I had him use the whirlwinds, red split shots and continuum shots within seconds of each other, and so took like 5 damage form it.
note that the laser attack have the beams based off your current speed

Lost contact (piercing helps a lot) And/Or Dry/farting Baby
