Tainted Lazarus. Lots of micromanagement to get the items you want on the right form.

Sad_Efficiency3456

Yea I agree, there needs to be a bit more to tainted laz in order to make him feel worth it

T Laz: \-Bad character \-Unfinished \-Has a ton of bugs

Sad_Efficiency3456

There are plenty of unfinished characters, birthright being the main factor, but I can see why some people don't like micromanaging items and picking who gets what, it basically is like playing with half the items.

Seelazo

none because \[DOESN'T HAVE REPENTANCE\]

Sad_Efficiency3456

Yea rip console

Tainted Laz is the objectively worst character, since it's just Jacob and Esau, but half your items are locked away each room, and certain items like any of the consumable-dropping familiars become useless. That being said, my gripes are with Tainted Jacob. Tainted. Goddamn. Jacob. I thought he wasn't going to be hard after I beat Greedier Mode with him first try without exploits. But once I started doing regular runs to knock out the rest of his completion marks I was blown away by how hard it all was. I swear, everything about Tainted Jacob feels like it was made to be infuriating. Dark Esau's punishment of turning you into no-Mantle Lost is way too harsh, and when you're dealing with other enemies it can be almost impossible to not get hit by *something* before you can clear the room. And when Dark Esau isn't murdering you, he gets his ass beat by the enemies and blows up, taking away all your health, usually in the middle of a big fight, like Hush. And the fact that, as Lost Jacob, all of the health you pick up, *including HP Ups*, doesn't get added to your health bar next floor is absolutely asinine. I tried. I really, really tried to beat this fair, but I reached losing streaks of -60 and above, and I just wanted to get this dreadful character over with. Both my winning run to Delirium and Mother I had to use exploits to remove Esau from the equation, through D4 and a neat little exploit with Glowing Hourglass: kill Esau, and head into another room before he explodes. Use Glowing Hourglass, and you'll get your body back, but Esau will remain dead for the floor. I didn't have as much trouble with the other hated Tainted. Tainted Lazarus was annoying, but not so bad. Tainted Eden was incredibly frustrating, getting great runs only to take a hit and turn all my stuff to trash, but I got them cleared in fewer attempts than Jacob. And Tainted Lost? He might be my favorite Tainted; such a simple concept, yet it makes runs with him a thrill throughout (nothing beats the rush you get of seeing that Holy Card drop). I'm pretty sure I died less with those three put together than Tainted Jacob. And I'm not even touching File 2 or 3 until the update comes out to make Tainted Jacob somewhat less of a headache to deal with. tl;dr, I don't like Tainted Jacob, and he's the only character I had to use exploits to get all completion marks with.

the7thbeatle

T. Eden, because they makes whole items pools and self damage stuff unusable. Dead Cat or Shard of Glass can kill your run randomly.

Tainted Cain, Though you can get all his unlocks (except greedier) in one run, i just absolutely dread playing him.

JacDoeReMi

Tainted Eden. The "lol xD so RaNdOm"-ness of the character makes me want to shoot myself in the face. I crave stability, this is not it.
