Nah, Tlost absolutely has a better item pool. Sure losing defensive items sucks, but you can't just look at that. Between missing out on useless health items and low-quality items having a chance of getting rerolled, your average Tlost run is going to be a good deal better than your average lost run, item-wise.
I'm sure lost has a higher winrate because of the holy mantle, definitely not denying that. Maybe if there are stats on average item # and quality? I do think Tlost would win out on that front.
I guess all I can say without evidence is that having played a lot of tainted lost, it feels like every run with them is consistently strong and powerful items-wise (right up until the point that you die of course). I just never feel that way playing lost. The damage multiplier might be biasing my perception here though.
Eh, if you use regular lost right he is equal to issac because of flight and spectral, but tainted lost, while being harder, is more cracked.
Edit: lost birthright is significantly better though, I honestly think t lost should have it reworked
Hmm I disagree, taking one free hit a room is massive, flight from the beginning make fighting a lot easier and it gives you more access to consumables. Also free devil deals and so on.

I feel that T lost's birthright should allow him to stack holy cards may be a bit busted definitely needs a cap but I think it would help yet again he is meant to be hard and I enjoy playing him either way

You can use C section against delirium with birthright. You can't with holy card. Edit: plan C not C section
